Pros: Service was excellent. Grounds and hotel was impeccable.
Cons: It’s kind of isolated. Cannot walk anywhere. Taxis were extremely expensive. No resorts In walking distance to try other restaurants.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The island and beaches are beautiful. The facility was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Snorkeling was excellent.
Cons: The vacation was too wonderful that we didn’t want to leave.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Best location
Cons: The room Breakfast Dinner Poolside
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Friendly staff Very clean
Cons: Did not have a card machine and only charged with USD and not local Ci dollar Also not allowed to use sanu or steam room with booking a spa session
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Besides being absolutely beautiful, the service was impeccable. The staff addressed us by name on arrival and continued to do so our entire stay. Very accommodating.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Facilities were beautiful and the staff were amazing. The food and beverages on the resort were also exquisite. Local ceviche made daily was a particular favorite. We traveled with our 16 month old who was always treated to chats with the hotel team along with stuffed animals. He ate for free on the resort which was really nice. He really had a blast at the beach which is all soft white sand and clear water. We spent a couple hours snorkeling right off the shore in front of the hotel. Really an exceptional experience at the Kimpton Seafire. Wow!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was so personal, the staff was so attentive and all learned our names, made sure we were extremely well taken care of. The staff absolutely made us already start planning our return. The hotel is amazing, the amenities are unbeatable!
Cons: There is just one restaurant for breakfast, it was delicious but a change would have been nice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view from the hotel room and the staff friendliness
Cons: Price of food
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The service at this hotel was better than any I've ever stayed at. They go above and beyond. I'd highly recommend it.
Cons: Nope
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Every single member of the staff was friendly, extremely helpful, and did all they could to make sure all our needs were met! The grounds were beautiful and clean with all the extra items needed to make it unique and special.
Cons: The cost of the food was higher than expected! (The presentation and flavor was superb!).. This resort is absolutely amazing!.. So cost of food was minor irritant.
Excellent 8.5
I needed to remain here since it was modern. If you want style over comfort at that point this is often the lodging to book. You would like a taxi to induce to wherever you need. I need to recognize everybody I came in contact with. Thank you, Araceli, Amit, Katlyn, Geovanny, Clair, Joana and Jenna. I work within the eye care field. Jenna, those eyes are memorizing! If there’s anybody I missed I profoundly apologize. Housekeeping, pool staff, Servers are moment to done. I’ll be back! Take the supper journey to RumPoint. See you soon!
Excellent 10.0
I was there on vacation with my fiancé for two nights and we availed the Ocean View King room. When we arrived, we loved how accommodating the staff was. They greeted us with smiling faces. Check-in was no hassle, we were even guided to our room nicely. The room we had was very neat and clean. Loved the smell of the bed sheets and pillows. What made it the best was the room had a great view of the blue ocean. Ideal view everyone would surely love. Sipping cocktails by the balcony before sunset was exquisite. The air-conditioning and other room appliances were working very well. The bathroom was nice and spotless. We had enough supply of toiletries, but housekeeping made sure it was refilled daily even if not requested. The restaurants were delightful because food was great and we were well-cared-for by the service crew. Overall, it was a great experience and we would willingly go back.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms are beautiful with an upscale beachey feel And the staff are amazing! attentive !and super friendly We had a most amazing time Highly recommended Ps you actually get some $ worth for your resort fee
Cons: Interesting that they have a mandatory tip for the staff in your price Because you just pretty much end up tipping twice
Excellent 10.0
This hotel is amazing. It is gorgeous, clean, modern, and on the most beautiful beach. Can’t say enough good things about it. I am a very picky person when it comes to hotels, and I had no complaints about this one. No expenses were spared with the design, furnishings etc and it feels luxurious. Staff is so warm and welcoming, and extremely accommodating. Look no further, this is the best hotel on Grand Cayman island, no doubt. We traveled with another family, with 4 kids, and they had so much fun. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was gorgeous. They have Great kids menus at all the restaurants on site, for even the pickiest eaters. The pool and beach were awesome and the kids had so much fun playing. Comfy lounge chairs and sofas, not overly crowded at all. We had an issue where some people blocked our kids’ access to the pool with their lounge chairs, and refused to move when we asked them nicely, but Ollie the pool manager handled everything very professionally and fixed the issue immediately. You must try the restaurant Ave, located in the hotel. The food is phenomenal. We ate there twice and were blown away... wait staff extremely nice and friendly. Cocoloba, the other outdoor restaurant was also awesome and served high quality food that we enjoyed, with an awesome view. We will definitely be coming back to Kimpton sea fire again! So far it has been my favorite hotel and resort ever. Have never seen such good customer service before so consistently.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Lication
Cons: Management, especially in restaurants does not have their act together.. they write nothing down, then ( surprise) get all the orders wrong. This occurred in ave at breakfast and dinner. Very slow, very painful for such an elegant place.

Excellent 9.4
Pros: Excellent pool and kiddies water park also the beach was amazing. Breakfast was great with the fresh smoothies and fresh squeezed orange and pineapple juice
Cons: Mattress could have been a bit firmer.
Good 7.0
Pros: The beach and pool area
Cons: The check in and front desk staff seems to require additional training and an understanding that this is a 5 star hotel and not a Days Inn
Excellent 8.0
Pros: pool + beach options were great; would prefer a smaller option breakfast at a lower price point; staff was awesome; upgraded our room which was a bonus
Cons: prices; beach side vs resort side = lots of walking (which is okay but got a little tiresome sometimes)
Excellent 9.6
Pros: good
Cons: none
Excellent 9.7
This hotel was an awesome value. the room was large with a king sized bed and the bathroom was huge. House keeping was amazing and cleaned 2x’s a day! Chocolate was left on your pillow at nighttime cleaning. The locale artwork showcased at the hotel was interesting and nice to see. The service for the pool and beach was amazing. Fresh towels, cold water, sunscreen and daily snacks were always provided. we also had free use of snorkeling equipment, sail boats, paddle boards and kayaks. There were floating rafts for the ocean and pools. We had free use of the jacuzzi, steam room and showers at the spa. The restaurants were delicious but pricey. Just a 5 minute walk away was Eats and Sunshine cafe which had great food at a better price point for us although not the beach view of Bar Jacks at the Ritz. The concierge booked all of our activities for us. It was a truly restorative, relaxing vacation. All of the staff were so helpful, nice and friendly.
Excellent 10.0
The Grand Cayman Ritz was an excellent choice. The beach is fabulous, the state of the hotel and the rooms excellent, the staff highly professional and warm. In the beach area very good attention of Iris and Ana, in the business center the arrangement of Mercedes and in the reception of Fabio. The same from all the staff that was very friendly. The hotel is large and has several restaurants and cafes and all have good service.

Excellent 10.0
I booked the Ritz-Carlton for my last few nights on vacation. I planned so long for this trip and it was finally coming to an end, so I had to make sure I’d get the rest and relaxation I deserved. The hotel was a fabulous place to stay; it was definitely a great value for money and really worth the wait. It had a very relaxing ambiance and a very wonderful staff who would go the extra mile to make you feel like you’re at the comforts of your own home. They greeted us nicely upon arriving, served us juice while waiting, then guided us to our room. The King room with the resort view was very impressive – very clean, had comfy bed sheets, and pillows that were soft and fluffy. The bathrooms were nicely disinfected, and had a fresh scent too. I loved how they offered to clean the rooms twice a day. The property has great amenities and you can take advantage of water activities as well. Only down side is the beach space was a bit crowded and the people were scrambling over beach chairs once vacant. Still a great experience, but additional staff by the beach would be suggested.
Good 6.5
Pros: The staff at the hotel was very helpful and attentive.
Cons: The hotel is simply not worth the money. Our room was dated and not worth the price that they are charging for the room. The room was mediocre but with what they charge and the Ritz Carlton name I expected and outstanding room with a wow factor.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: All good food room etc great hotel
Cons: Internet slow
Excellent 10.0
Pros: From the moment we arrived to when we departed, everything was just superb. They made our sons birthday very special and we enjoyed every moment of our trip at the resort.
Cons: Nothing really..
Excellent 10.0
Wow! What a hotel. Beautiful property with an offering for everybody in your group - kids, pool lovers, spa lovers, golf lovers, ocean lovers, etc. As a Marriott Platinum Elite, we were upgraded to an ocean view room in the middle of the hotel amazing views. The staff at the pool and the beach were awesome in setting up our chairs with towels and a cover for them. The waitstaff on the beach and pool were attentive and actually interesting to talk to as they are from many different parts of the world. My kids loved talking to the staff from Jamaica, Grand Cayman, South America, India, USA, etc. We probably took 5-10 pictures with those that helped us the most. The restaurants are nice but very pricey. Keep this in mind - most, if not all of the food, etc is imported as Grand Cayman is small and doesn't produce much on its own. Our average lunch with 3 kids (they loved the quesadillas!), my wife and myself with a glass of wine and a beer or two was about $120-$130 which included a 17% service charge (forced gratuity). However, I don't think we walked away from any meal or food saying 'that wasn't good'. The housekeeping staff was great and gave us all the bottled water we needed and towels we needed (we had 2 connecting rooms). They also turned down our beds at night while we were at dinner or out for dessert. One little secret is to grab a quick bite in the morning at Cupboard - they have pastries and breakfast sandwiches that are cheaper than spending at the buffet. For 5 days of breakfast, it would have been almost $600 but at Cupboard, we ended up spending about $160 in the mornings. Resort fee of $75 a room isn't bad when you see what you get - the pool, the beach chair usage, all the snorkel gear you need, sailing, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. Also, there are water dispensers and even sun screen dispensers available wherever you turn. My kids also love at 3:00 PM they either got snow cones or cotton candy for free. The hot tub off the main pool was way too hot.
Excellent 9.4
Cons: It was in the Grande Cayman Island
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Service was flawless
Cons: Most resort hike from beach

Excellent 10.0
Pros: everythink excelent, see you next time
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Front desk reception
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Stylish, great service, excellent beach area
Cons: Our room’s bathroom was outdated and could have been better for the price
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel was clean, the food was good and most of the staff were attentive and nice. May different cultures working there so communication was easy.
Cons: The cost of everything was a bit over the top, especially coffee and souvenirs. The staff at the souvenir shop were chatting about me in Spanish, assuming that I didn't understand. Not cool.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Lovely ambiance in the main area
Cons: No comfortable area to sit at night outside. Restaurant took all of the space but even when not open the area was left abandoned. Had no place to sit except on damp chaise lounge chairs at the pool, very unappealing. Mouldy or musty smelling rooms. The carpets felt dirty all the time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great staff, the room was awesome, the beach simply lovely. Amazing food - and lots of activities for the all family. Also, great live music! The perfect location for a relaxing vacation!
Cons: Nothing! Everything was ideal.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We absolutely loved the staff and the resort. Room was a decent size for 4 (2 kids) and balcony into the court yard worked perfect. Pool good size for a high season as well. Beach absolutely stunning! Food was delicious and even snacks.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything about it was really, really good, service, staff and amenities were just right. The Staff was more then Perfect, very professional and caring, hope they stay there for a long time. Thanks
Cons: The Restaurant and Patio was just perfect. The Food and drinks were on the money. Thanks Again
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff were friendly and very attentive. Most everything is included in resort fee, snorkeling equipment, stand up paddle board, kayaks, banana ride and multiple swim platforms, jet ski rental, shuttle to downtown and 2 other beaches.
Cons: Ice machine was about as far away as it could get. Construction next door at Comfort Suites was noisy in am. Resort fee is pricey but you do get a lot for $$. Food is very expensive thru out the island.
Good 6.3
Pros: Lobby and great personnel
Cons: The pictures of the beach are false. There’s no beach!!! the beds are in the water. It’s disappointing. You can find better accommodation on the seven miles beach
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Really liked the various cooking classes that were included in the resort fee. We did a chocolate bar making class, a mixology class, and a crepe-making class. Lots of fun.
Cons: The actual beach is incredibly narrow. At times there was no dry beach. The water came all the way up to the wall at the end of the beach.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The amenities and services were wonderful as well as the food options. Unfortunately the beach was quite washed away which made it difficult for kids to play in sand, but we all still enjoyed. The housekeeping staff was especially friendly and helpful and our location allowed us to enjoy surrounding activities, we rented a car as well and would do that again
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very good service especially at beach. Hotel employee was a great service provider there.
Cons: Beach was very narrow
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location, excellent service, and delicious food!
Cons: No, we loved EVERYTHING!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We visited a few hotels on Grand Cayman and the Marriott was the best by far. Such a great deal for clean facilities, friendly staff, amazing food and drinks, and water activities included. We will definitely be returning with our kids in tow!
Cons: They didn't do a good job cleaning our room before we arrived. There was a foul smell in the bathroom that was caused by mildew from the previous guest's wet clothes from beach/pool.
Excellent 9.7
We came to Marriott on Grand Cayman for vacation.Hotel is very clean, staff is very fruendly and accommodating.Special Thanks to hotel manager Andre Costa for making our stay here more pleasent than we hoped for.
Excellent 10.0
Friendly and welcome staff. We got a partial ocean view and were very happy with the room. Beach has no real sand areas. Stairs going down to beach go right until the rocky ocean. Definitely wear water shoes so this doesn't ruin your stay. Lots of floating devices, floating trampolines to lay in, floating areas to lay and relax on the calm warm Caribbean waters. Pool area is small, but plenty of entertainment for kids, story time by pool, mermaids, pirate, free hair braiding. Restaurants have excellent food, but expensive. Ask for a microwave in your room, they will bring you one for free. Public beach called Royal Palms is 10 minute walk. They have restrooms, bar, restaurant, near shops. Would stay again.
Good 6.0
Pros: The location was great for where I was conducting business. The food was good and the options were plenty. I liked that the hotel wasn't too big. I liked the access to parking and was lucky to always have a spot close to the entrance.
Cons: I didn't like the lack of beach space. My room wasn't cleaned properly. When I checked out staff didn't ask me how my staff was. Even though it was a business trip, I had time for 1-hour in the morning to enjoy the beach, which wasn't that big. While laying there the drills the staff uses for the beach umbrellas, was really annoying and go against the ambiance I was seeking. Minutes later drilling into construction started at the beach restaurant. I decided to move then near the back pool, which then of course someone was cutting the grass. I couldn't win that morning. My reservation package came with a $50 credit to use on F&B. The night before I checked out, I confirmed with the front desk staff, if that credit would be good for breakfast tomorrow. He said yes, up until checkout at 11am. When I went to check out, the staff said that wasn't the case. They ended up giving me the credit, but was annoying to have to check my bill twice.
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: Room A/C did work excactly right. It didn't knockout the humidity as it should have.

Good 7.0
Pros: Facilities
Cons: I didn't get breakfast. Front desk staff need to be a little more pleasant and helpful. The kitchen staff was rude too, implying we were not staying there when we gave him our room number. Staff need training on better customer care Neighbours were loud but when front desk was called at 2am, there was clearly a phone call made to quieten our neighbours.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great location on 7 Mile Beach and being able to use the Westin’s beach & facilities was great. Beds were very comfy! Clean rooms & decent Continental breakfast daily. Coffee & tea in rooms too. Great to be able to bring home leftovers from restaurants & have use of Fridge & Microwave. 2 burner stovetop, too. Sunshine Grill has amazing fish tacos, great burgers & the Sunshine Scramble was fantastic. Great wait staff! Everyone was very helpful!
Cons: Not much! 😁
Good 7.0
Pros: Proximity Service and facilities
Cons: Can’t open windows and with only the door opening to corridor no way to get fresh air/ ventilation other than air con which we only want to use if it’s very hot -it’s not comfortable to sleep I. As it gets too cold.
Good 7.0
Pros: Sunshine suites reception staff and their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure we were treated with respect and care
Cons: The sister hotel, The Westin treated us as the "poor relatives " and as such our days on the beach were spoilt by their staff behaviour. In particular the pool restaurant and bar staff
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location was fantastic and using the Westin beach & facilities right across the street was awesome. Great value for the price.
Cons: Bed was a little lumpy but not too bad.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I have stayed here many times, and still think it is the best value on the island (particularly since the resort fee grants access to all the facilities at the Westin across the road). The Sunshine Grill is a great place to eat, particularly for those traveling alone. Rooms are cosy and comfortable, and I like having a kitchen and a full-size fridge.
Cons: The hotel has upgraded the corridor lighting, but not the room shutters and blinds -- I struggled to sleep because my room was quite light as a result. The mattresses are starting to get to the point where they need to be replaced, and the pillows could be better.
Good 6.0
Pros: The breakfast could have been better, need to have more hot choices.
Cons: The iron in the room that I stayed was not working , did report but it was never replaced. The hotel price was very high for the amenities offered. No elevator so we had to struggle with our bags to the second floor.
Excellent 10.0
The lodging is found one diminutive from the celebrated Seven Mile Shoreline. The rooms are normal and the cleaning benefit isn't the most excellent. A few times I have found that the house keeper as it were cleaned a least of the room and once she did not indeed pass. The gathering staff is very supportive and continuously prepared for guests' needs. Breakfast isn't as well changed and there are continuously the same things each day. Exceptionally pleasant pool and great eatery. The inn offers clients the plausibility to utilize the sunbeds of the Marriott lodging on the shoreline for free.
Excellent 10.0
Our family of four (Mom, Dad, and two kids--9 & 11) loved our recent, week-long stay at the Sunshine Suites! If you are looking for a pretty, clean, & safe property, at a reasonable price, in an excellent location, look no further. This is a beautifully landscaped & maintained property, with a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and the kitchenette is a great, money-saving perk in what can be a pricy area. As noted in most of the other reviews, guests of this property enjoy all of the benefits of the nearby Westin Resort, at a significantly reduced price. The Westin beach is on the best stretch of Seven Mile Beach and it's only a short, easy walk away. There are plenty of chairs/umbrellas and a gorgeous, wide, spacious beach with lovely, clear, & calm water. It only took us, door-to-beach chair a little over 6 minutes at a leisurely pace to get there. You do have to cross a busy street, but there is a crosswalk and we never had any problem whatsoever with cars stopping for us. SS also has a vehicle that they will use to drive you across to the Westin if you don't wish to walk, but the walk was so easy, we didn't use it. The property is also within easy (less than 5 minutes) walking distance to a strip mall that includes a liquor store, a Mini-Mart that sells very basic necessities, a great restaurant (Eats Cafe), a Frozen Yogurt store, etc. A little further walk away (7-8 mins) is a larger shopping area that includes a large grocery store (Cost-U-Less) and several other shops, etc. Beyond that, it is very easy/convenient to catch a public bus and, for only $2CI/$2.50US, go to any other location along the Seven Mile Beach area, including a nicer grocery store (Foster's Food Fair). The property also provides a free, basic breakfast that is similar to the continental breakfast most US hotel chains offer: cereal, waffles, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, eggs, various juices, coffee, milk, etc.
Excellent 10.0
This was our first time staying here and we were very pleased with the room and the staff that worked here. Any time we needed something, it was addressed quickly. Note, the only problem we had was a room that was 55 degrees when we checked in. They had someone there quickly to fix it. Any other questions we had or wanted (more towels, where's the ice machine etc.) were quickly addressed. Rooms were clean and bright. Housekeeping staff very friendly! It's only a short walk across the street to get to the beach. Yes, you are not on the beach, but you aren't paying for that luxury either. The only thing I was missing was a lanai and a safe in the room. You can, however, get a safe in the office for your use. A complete matching set of silverware and dishes would be nice, too. It didn't bother us though. I will definitely be back.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Staff was courteous and friendly. Located across the street from the Westin. Great beach access and located near decent restaurants.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Nice to have a kitchenette pool access to beach restaurant
Cons: resort fee
Excellent 8.8
Cons: The road noise at night
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The king sized bed was comfortable for me, but may not be the case for everyone. I liked having a kitchenette to make sandwiches and a quick meal to cut down on the cost on eating out. Stove top although only 2 rings worked extremely well and heated things very quickly (I saw a review that said the stove didn't heat water very quickly but ours was fine). Pans provided were excellent, along with crockery, cutlery, wine glasses, cutting board and a small amount of utensils. The breakfast provided was perfectly adequate for us with coffee, tea, juice, pastries, fruit, yogurt, toast & cereal. Loved the use of the Westin facilities - sun loungers, umbrellas on beach and pool, it is a 4/5 minute walk across to the beach, but the cost of the Sunshine Suites rooms compared to the Westin make up for the walk. Renoir on the front desk was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. He should be training others on how to treat guests as the ladies at the desk weren't as helpful. Grounds around the hotel were superb.
Cons: The Wi-fi wasn't spectacular, just adequate. The rooms are a little dated, but not terrible. The A/C can be hit or miss (we tried 2 rooms before finding A/C working in the last). One major problem was that the Hot and Cold lines on the faucet in the tub had been reversed, quite serious for children and elderly. Front desk on check out said they are addressing this issue. There is no elevator/lift so you will get exercise - we were on the top floor, but it wasn't too bad for us - but we are fairly active. Wasn't happy with the $30 per night wi-fi, facilities charge, but it's alot cheaper than other hotels.
Good 7.1
Pros: Kitchens in rooms, staff very helpful and nice. Beach chairs were provided. Wifi worked well.
Cons: Very spartan breakfast included, small common area and only public access to beach. No elavators for the 3 story property. A/C, while it had controls, it had little control blew cold air in all modes. No hotel van. Access to a sister property the Westin, across the street was available for 30 per day.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Convenient location, nice complementary breakfast, delicious food at hotel restaurant
Cons: Much older crowd of guests - almost everyone was above 60. Also frustrating that they deactivate your keys before the 12:00 pm check-out.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Beach location, very nice people at front desk and restaurants
Cons: Quality of breakfast and restaurants ... they can do better in this hotel
Good 6.3
Cons: It was a cold atmosphere. Very business like. Spent 900.00 in beverages and not one drink bought back by bartender. For the best Value for your buck this is not the place.
Good 7.5
Pros: Clean.
Cons: Very expensive with the added feature of construction onsite during our stay. Notified on day two construction would be ongoing for the week.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property is beautiful. Location is great. Not enough words to describe the staff..from the gentlemen at the door, to the beach ambassadors, bartenders, and the ladies who kept our room clean. Upon arrival, we were treated as longtime, returning guests. It was our first trip to the Caymans but won't be the last!!
Cons: There isn't a thing not to like about the resort. Most amazing adventure! The Westin is the only way to go. Service, smiles, at your beck and call. Already planning the next trip!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly - nothing too much trouble. Restaurant excellent Good bar
Cons: Sun bed cushions a little uncomfortable round pool. Room not serviced on one day until we asked
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Westin bedding is always perfect, pools and beach were very nice. View from our room was amazing.
Cons: A bit out of the way from Georgetown.
Okay 5.0
Pros: location
Cons: service
Good 7.4
Pros: Stunning location, beachfront fabulous, loved cabanas. Front desk well organized.
Cons: Checkin claimed to be upgrading our room but put us on a first floor corner with a ping pong table outside our terrace door.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The bellboys were very kind and friendly. Very helpful anytime we had questions. I think it's the best hotel on the island, so beautiful.
Cons: Not enough activities or night life.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Renovation is amazing. Rooms are large and beautiful. Very clean. The pool area is the perfect size and the beach is one of the nicest I have ever seen.
Cons: $65 per night resort fee seems very high. Especially when food and drinks are as expensive as they are here.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Service
Cons: High resort fees
Good 6.0
Pros: Best location for snorkeling or swimming from the beach
Cons: When we arrived, after waiting 6 hours for the room to be cleaned, the bed linens were stained and wrinkled, cookies on the floor, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. Food mediocre and overpriced. Additional resort charges of $52/day was a surprise.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very nice and close beach.
Cons: They did not take Discover once you got to the hotel.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great location with attentive staff. It is going to be a beautiful hotel once the construction is finished. The staff are all sensitive to the hassle construction causes and go above and beyond to accommodate all needs and concerns. We were well aware of the construction when we booked so it didn't really bother us. I was there for a conference but if I had been looking for a romantic serene get away I would not choose this hotel until the construction is finished. Otherwise, great location and great staff.
Cons: Difficult to enjoy the ocean front patio at any point due to the constructions noise.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. But pity that web site said pool under renovation, but whole hotel was. Could have done with more signs to indicate how to get to and from the beach as parts were circled off.
Okay 5.1
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Room service was terrible. They couldn't get a tea order right. I had to call 3 times to get a tea with sugar and cream. They messed up a fruit bowl order. Super loud music playing outdoors by the pool till 7pm that was audible inside with the doors closed and with earplugs in. Outside cafe: Ice cream was melted. Served incorrect drinks. Overall very poorly managed facility for its caliber. Much better in past years. I have been coming here for 12 years and this is the worst I have seen it. Sad to see the decline.

Pros: Everything was nice. My room was great and the staff was A1!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice layout of pool and beach
Cons: Somewhat remote and taxi service sporadic. Its best to rent a car if one wants to visit other parts of Grand Cayman.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff
Cons: Location
Good 7.7
Pros: The hotel itself was nice, the room was spacious and clean and the staff was super nice. Great food at the restaurant! Great pool and lounging area.
Cons: The ocean was very cloudy and had lots of seaweed. The snorkeling was zero, so unfortunately not great to hang out at the beach, but a great value if you just want to relax poolside. A bit tough to find, street signs are few and far inbetween in the island.

Pros: The Room was Clean, The Rooster and the Hens were fun to watch off our Balcony.
Cons: Too far away from everything, We almost missed are flight home. It took an hour to get a Cab
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly.
Cons: The restaurant smelled musty. The bartender a guy didn’t acknowledge us at all for about 5 minutes, there was only 1 other person at the bar. It was a beautiful day and seemed odd the tiki bar at the pool world be closed. Who when visiting a beautiful ocean front beach hotel wants to be sitting in a musty inside bar. Also the bathroom in the restaurant was not clean and had no toilet paper. There was a fm bartender/waitresses I think her name was Rosie that came in about a hour after we sat down who was very pleasant and friendly. I’m not one to give a bad review however for the most part I would give it a 2 out of 5😐😐😐
Excellent 9.0
Pros: There is a shuttle into town, although it might be full at popular times. You can walk out onto the pier and enjoy the breeze. There are many spots to relax on the beach, and a refreshing pool.
Cons: The beach isn't suitable for wading.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great value
Cons: Without a car, taxis can get expensive
Good 7.0
Pros: Property was clean
Cons: Everything was ok
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location was ok, wifi was ok
Cons: The room was dirty, the kitchen in our room hasn't been cleaned 2 out of 3 days during our stay and the rest (bedroom, bathroom) wasn't cleaned properly. The gym was very poor, only 3 machines and the elliptical didnt work. The hotel seriously needs some upgrade.
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Room with patio facing construction isn't my idea of a relaxing holiday. I requested pool view but it was booked manager said I need to give 3 years advance if I want to make sure I get that room ! 3 years let's be realistic here .. not a chance I know my vacation 3 years in advance does he?
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Large spacious room.
Cons: Tennis courts need a little love. Not allowed to bring outside food and drink to the pool.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The landscaping and beach areas were immaculate and beautiful.
Cons: no
Good 6.0
Pros: Loaction
Cons: Bed smells like urine.
Good 7.6
Great value but make sure you hire a car Also if you are a light sleeper - try for rooms facing the garden or pool as pesky roosters will wake you at sunrise
Okay 5.0
Pros: It is on GCM and is cheaper than most with an only slightly offensive resort fee
Cons: Walls were way too thin as I could hear everything next door. They weren't being loud, the rooms just offered no buffer. Their TV might as well have been in my room. Cheaper than the 7 mile resorts, but beach isn't as stunning. Employees were lovely!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The outdoor courtyard area was great...nice pool, great ocean view, tropical feel, hammocks for relaxing, wi-if access, well maintained.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great value for the island
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean and beter than expected
Cons: someone tried to get into the room at 12 midnight with very loud banging on the door. Another friend also exoerienced this. We repoted it the next morning. Hotel employee have reported ot that night because there was security.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful rooms. Prompt service. Loved the shuttle. Quiet resort. Friendly staff.
Excellent 8.5
I commend their staff who was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and hard-working. They were very helpful and patient in answering all my questions regarding my stay. Although I was just here for a quick meeting, I decided to check-in as well for my last day in the Cayman Islands. The hotel had a beautiful view of the beach with the ocean breeze sweeping through my hair. The breakfast room was a cheerful place to start each day, and the food was delicious! Rooms were always kept impeccably clean. Amenities were limited, though that would be enough for an overnight stay. I was surprised to have a better stay than I expected. The property was far from the busy district, but they offer a shuttle service so you can go around and explore the wonderful island.
Excellent 10.0
I was glad that I booked this hotel which was on the other side of the island – the peaceful side. Upon check-in, the concierge made sure we felt welcome and cared for. He gave us tips on the best local places to visit, restaurants to try, and shops to check out. I was never a breakfast person, but I made it a point to wake up early while on vacation so that I could make the most out of my stay here. The breakfast room was bright and airy. Food was very good. Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The cool temperature of the air conditioner made it more comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful visit. Would happily stay there again.
Excellent 10.0
Wonderful place to stay. Had a great time, will definitely be back. Price of hotel was very affordable and rooms were huge with great views! Felt like we had our own apartment. Full kitchen, we saved money by shopping at local market and cooking at hotel. Restaurant on site had really good food as well. The Blue Iguana Grill had tuna tacos that were the best we've had. Wings, prime rib, pasta, breakfast, everything was good. Being a vegetarian they accommodated me with anything I asked for. No complaints! The service and food staff were so nice, manager Mike, Sara, Christina, Brent. All were amazing, made us feel like family. Hotel was quiet and peaceful, free shuttle to everywhere you would want to go and the driver Lloyd was exceptional. Always on time. And Leishia at the front desk was a sweetheart. The locals are so friendly and happy and make everything fun for you. Will definitely be returning soon! Thank you all for such an enjoyable stay!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I really liked the cleanliness of the hotel. The beautiful view didn't hurt at all. I am a fan of iguanas so I loved watching them. The shuttle driver was very nice and punctual. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The continental breakfast was not what we expected but we ordered side items as well. A traditional continental layout would be more convenient than having a waitress bring a bunch of cereal boxes for one to choose.
Okay 5.7
Pros: room was a decent size facilities were ok, decor was ok desk staff very friendly free shuttle to several areas
Cons: nothing luxurious the location isn't great: windward side of the island and no bus routes dining staff a little slow

Pros: Great value and Great Location on 7 mile beach! Large suites with full kitchen and dining area. Kitchen had all the amenities needed -- microwave, oven, cooktop, full-sized refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and pots/pans, bowls, cutlery, etc -- everything needed to make and serve meals. Units also had washer and dryers and nice screened in balcony overlooking the pool. Pool was really nice and clean and the grounds were well-maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Resort is next to Marriot, which has an artificial reef close to shore, so snorkeling was really good right off the beach. Also, beds were firm and comfortable and A/C worked well.
Cons: The beach right in front of the resort is very narrow, and there are only a handful of lounge chairs/umbrellas for guests of this resort. If you want to lounge on the beach all day, you better get there early to claim a chair.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Huge room with full kitchen and amenities right near 7 mile beach. While the resort is not directly on the beach, it is accessible from a short path beside the building. Pool area and landscaping around the resort were very nice, plus there were BBQ's by the pool to grill on.
Cons: A few minor maintenance improvements could be made to the room (example: make sure all light bulbs are replaced). More lounge chairs by the beach could be added.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Such a great place! Close to the beach and food. Friendly staff!
Cons: Nothing it was great !
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Overall there was a lot of space. The location was good close to the beach. We didn’t have hot water for two days but that was resolved. Overall it was a good experience. Would’ve been better was courtesy transportation to the airport at our departure
Cons: Hot water was a problem at first
Good 7.0
Pros: Spacious condo
Cons: Serious ant problem, when we called the desk, they said there was spray, instead off sending someone. The other problem was the beach is extremely small and there was a lack of chairs and umbrelt
Excellent 9.0
Pros: so close to so much. walking distance to Canama Bay and George Town.
Cons: there is no beach here. they do have an option for you that is not far away thou!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Staff was amazing. When I return, this resort will be my 1st option. I can't say enough great things about how friendly, helpful and patient they were with our group.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was just right to access the town and the beach by car and there are shops and restaurants on the doorsteps. It's a quiet place so we could relax. Having our own kitchen was brilliant: we also loved sitting on the balcony: a bonus. The pool is also very well maintained,
Cons: The location of the reception is a bit strange and not easily visible: there should be a proper office for it. Our front door was once left open after cleaning!! Also the lady cleaning our apartment seemed to be annoyed that we came back one morning. She made us feel uncomfortable, like we shouldn't' be there. Maybe she had a bad morning? ... We left but this should never happen
Excellent 10.0
It was charmingly astounding for the spacious and quality of the rooms. Pleasantly beautified with a fully-equipped kitchen and cabinet for clothing. Just a two-minute walk from the room to 7 Mile Beach, the best ranked beach on the island.. Staff were very inviting, respectful and attentive. Overall, it was great and highly recommended for family or group of friends who wants a vacation
Excellent 10.0
The unit was clean and roomy. Pool was pleasant with plenty of chairs. The area was extraordinary with bounty of eateries inside strolling distance. The rooms were clean and spacious. In any case, the water in both showers was cold. The basic need store is approximately a mile walk. Front work area staff was the leading I've seen. The resort may be a short walk to the beach with awesome snorkeling and lovely dusk. Moreover the resort location is amazing, you've got eateries in strolling separate and Kirk basic need store could be a 5 min drive. Exceptionally supportive! I would go back.

Cons: Close your eyes entering the road to the b&b.no curb appeal at all1
Good 6.0
Pros: Very friendly staff- Fawn was exceptionally helpful. Nice to have beach chairs and umbrella etc available to use. Room cleaned each day and towels changed.
Cons: Bed not very comfortable. Noisy in morning & no temperature control in room! Central AC for whole house. We were upstairs and very hot. Ceiling fan but one speed and no individual fan in room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet, friendly, quaint B&B. Supporting the other reviews, the breakfasts are fabulous, homemade, filling and different each day. We loved sitting around chatting with the other guests sharing our experiences. The innkeeper answers any questions you may have offering suggestions on tours, restaurants, and beaches. You can use the kitchen and all equipment after breakfast as we did a takeout dinner and ate on the screened in porch, beautiful! Loads of snorkeling equipment to use but check the masks and snorkels for leaks before you head out. Plenty of beach towels to use too. Would definitely come back here again. If you are looking for a calm, peaceful, relaxing away from the crowds lodging this is it!
Cons: Loved it all!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Superb location. Facilities superb. Staff brilliant.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Cons: The paying for parking is unnecessary, paid for breakfast but I don't think the information was relayed. But overall it was good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Love the style and look of this place, lovely property. The hosts were great too, nice and friendly and very helpful.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The breakfast was very delicious! The complimentary use of beach towels and chairs was greatly appreciated!
Cons: It was hot and trying to sleep the first couple of nights was frustrating. Shared with property manager and team. They adjusted the thermostat and we slept comfortably our final night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the place, it was empty during the day, loved having the pool all to myself!!!!
Cons: The restaurants in the area seemed overrated..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved this tucked-away retreat from the high-rise mess of seven-mile beach. Dean and Marissa were amazing staff ready to accommodate in any way possible. The rooms and grounds were beautiful and well-kept. We loved sitting on the screened-in porch to eat, read, catch up on E-mails, have a drink, talk with our new friends (fellow guests from around the world), or just watch birds, iguanas, and wildlife in the adjacent lake. Also, Dean is so generous -- you can borrow snorkel gear, towels, beach items, bikes, plates, books, etc.
Cons: Everything was great. We found that having a car was a virtual necessity to explore the island. Biking might work for those in shape, but many of the roads are narrow and well trafficked, so it would be a bit dangerous. We heard that taxis are expensive, but didn't try them out as we rented a car very inexpensively. The two nearby restaurants are excellent, but very pricey -- so beware. There are many interesting, less fancy places right on the beach, such as the Heritage Kitchen.

Pros: Location Kids loved pool. Nice spot at end of 7 mile beach, but not as crowed as rest of beach.
Cons: Listed as a queen and two fulls/twins was King and a full.
Good 6.3
Pros: Staff was very friendly.
Cons: The listing on booking.com does not illustrate the rocky entrance to the ocean. Pictures of the beach are shown but it does not show this at all. We felt mislead. Roof began leaking early in the trip, it took two days to repair, during which we were left with a hole in the ceiling of the master bedroom. Not a great experience at all.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Superb location and excellent amenities..
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Really appreciated being met by agent in person when we arrived late at night.
Cons: Shower curtain over bath a bit mouldy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was very convenient to many restaurants, grocery, activities without being too crowded. Convenient and private all at once! It was so nice to have the beauty and shade of trees right on the beach. And great to be able to snorkel right off the beach! Sophia was helpful and very kind. Great accommodations for a family. Not touristy feeling—felt like we were living local!
Cons: We didn’t receive any type of cleaning services during our 4-night stay. In fairness, we were there over a public holiday, so that may have been a factor. And I think if we had asked for towels or anything, management would’ve provided it—they were very responsive. The temperature of the hot tub was too hot—actually painful to get into it!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff at GVC were so extremely kind and helpful. From day one we felt like family. Anything we needed was provided for and if they didn’t have what we needed they were able to direct us to where we needed to go. Would DEFINITIVELY stay here again!! Thank you!!!
Cons: I can’t say one thing I didn’t like!!! I guess maybe just a few staples would’ve been helpful like dishwashing soap or salt and pepper oil. Just those basics but that’s about it!

As frequent travelers to different countries, we decided to visit Cayman Island and tried Margaritaville. The staff were all very-friendly and mindful. The open-air lobby is fabulous as the rooms were clean, modern, and well-designed. The beach was extraordinary and lovely. The bay zone was calm and relaxing. Amazing view as the sunset makes it perfect. We tried also the pools and the beach, we had a great time. We'll be back for beyond any doubt.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Love the swim up bar!!
Excellent 10.0
I got a great deal online, so I immediately booked this accommodation for some rest and relaxation. The resort is situated on the Seven Mile Beach which means it automatically has access to the coral-sand and waters of the Caribbean Sea. The location of the hotel is within easy walking distance of other resorts with restaurants and bars – Perfect for a food adventure or to experience the nightlife in a tropical paradise. Besides, the wonderful amenities, rooms were extremely clean. I think the hospitality here was some of the best ever. Everyone was jolly and tremendously helpful to their guests. The only thing I would suggest is for housekeeping to pick up trash left around the property while the guests are asleep, that way, when they wake up, everything would be spotless and tidy. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Good 6.2
Pros: The location is great and good value.
Cons: Still under construction. New ownership and they haven’t worked out all the kinks yet.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Everything else.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Treasure island is uninhabitable. They are tearing it down and the construction workers are living in the hotel. Everything was disgusting! The room that they did give us was filthy with pubic hairs on the bed! This hotel should not be available for booking.
Good 6.5
Pros: I liked that it was much cheaper than other properties nearby (for a reason though - see negative comments). I like the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was in great shape. I like having the convenience of the little grocery store in the lobby area.
Cons: I didn't like that there was no wifi in the rooms, and that the wifi in the lobby was not reliable. There were several things about the hotel and our room that were just run down - sliding door to balcony didn't work properly, no sink stopper, no blow dryer, phone didn't work, elevator was very dirty. To be fair, they are going through a renovation, so depending on how much $$$ they're putting in to that, things could change dramatically (and the price increase). Looks like it will be a while though.
Good 6.0
Pros: Comfortable beds with a kitchen and utensils to use. George town is very close
Cons: Only gave two towels everyday. No nightlife bar close.
