Front desk worker was a snooty A- hole. Won’t go there again especially since you cannot carry your own concealed weapon even if you have a SC permit!!

We stayed at Sonesta Hilton Head Island for three nights. The beach was the purpose of our trip, but we also enjoyed the beautiful pools, hot-hot tub, perfectly prepared dinner and buffet breakfast at the restaurant, specialty drinks at the bar and pool-side cafe and bought some nice items in the gift shop. Pros (+) The staff was awesome! I have stayed here in the past and this trip showed exceptional service. The last time I saw this level of service was when I stayed at Four Seasons. The hotel was great and would always keep this an option for future travel.

Cons (-) Kind of old but it's been refurbished, one main pool which is small. Pool bar closes too early. Overpriced for what you get.

Pros (+) Room was good and clean, on par with the Marriott properties (Courtyard, Fairfield, Springhill, etc) we normally stay at. We didn't make much use of the resort amenities, but the grounds were well-kept.

Pros (+) Well decorated.
Cons (-) Cleaning staff was consistently disappointing. Once they took our towels and forgot to give us any new towels and once the room looked barely touched. Everyday they were bad about coming before 8 am and coming back during the four hour Windows we provided.
