Our #1 choice for a local staycation. The kamaaina rates for Hawaii residents is great and the facilities are always top notch. The staff is amazing and amenities are very nice in room.

Customer service in general was poor. Facilities were lacking for the cost, and everything felt like a cash grab with mediocre quality.

It's very commercialized and lacked the luxe and secluded vibe we're accustomed to. It was also very crowded. It reminded me of a low-end cruise ship. That said, the rooms were spacious enough and clean, yet dated. Our room was also quiet aside from times when routy guests stormed the hall (uncommon), which was nice.

We were there while there was an employee union strike. The hotel was a mess and brought in workers from elsewhere. There was loud union strike chants going on from 5 AM to 10 PM. The hotel had no staff to clean the place, so people were leaving trash in the hallways of the hotel which stunk up the place. To top that off, we didn't even get the ocean view room that we paid for and they had no idea...

Basic necessities were not provided upon request. We are talking things like utensils and hot water for medicine. Facilities were terrible, with 2 out of the four elevators out of order, and resulting in us waiting 10-15 to get to our room. The ice machine was not working on our floor. Mostly importantly, the hotel did not have disable parking accommodation, which is a federal requirement. We were...

Hotel facilities are run down and very unclean main areas in buildings. Disappointing for a Hilton. Location is excellent and with better management it would have been a masterpiece.
