The staff is very friendly, our Family Suite was spacious and well equipped (full kitchen!), and breakfast was very good. But the location in the village of Kastraki, up against the Metora outcroppings, was the best! We ate both nights at a taverna in the town square and our daughter joined local children on the town playground after supper!
I can't really think of anything.

Talk about 5 star accommodationat 3 star price! Ultra tasteful apartment with bed / ensuite / lounge rooms. Great views of Meteora Rocks, close to restaurants and monastaries. Beat breakfast and welcoming staff - 11 out of 10!

The hotel, although very difficult to find as up a very steep hill in the old habitation area, was lovely - very tastefully decorated, great staff and awesome views of the monastries. The rooms were comfortable (particularly when they moved us to one with a balcony the second night)and breakfast was varied with good coffee! Watching a thunderstorm over the Meteori monastries is something that we will remember forever. All of the monastaries are within 30 mins drive of the hotel and there are a couple of great restaurants in the village which is just a few mins walk down the hill. Would definetly recommend and would stop there again if in the area.
As car access if difficult from Kastraki village itself due to the narrow and steep lanes, make sure that you access along the mountain road from Kalampaka - nuch easier driviing - whichever way you there it is well worth it!
