Pros: View from the room & from the hotel in general - Quiet but family hotel at the same time - SPA is nice but unfortunately close at 7PM for the family with kids (which we understand but would be need to be aware when booking so you can manage your journey accordingly) and not be disappointed if you can not use it the 1st night
Cons: We found some old slippers in the room behind furniture when grabbing my kids "doudou" and also some old toys below the bed which indicate that the cleaning is not done 100% but overall it's look perfect at first if it was not for our kids we will not have realized that
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for our needs . The selection at breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: We stayed in a deluxe room which did not have a power shower and the pressure in the water was not good. But in the greater scheme of things it was the only fault we had.

Cons: At night time i hear people next room even they didn't talk loud, but then was quite
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location gorgeous views. nice staff. Clean rooms nice open fire
Cons: Only one shower cap for 2 people. Only one armchair for 2 people. No heat in the evening to sit around chatting in the bedroom although it did come on in the early morning. Bath very high Not suitable for elderly or less able person to get into for a shower Disappointed that that I wasn’t informed on the day of booking that the restaurant wouldn’t be open on the evening of our stay we ate in the bar and it was adequate but..! Small things I know - apologies if you think am nit picking but..you did ask!

Pros: The kids loved the pancake machine, the fresh fruit, granola and yogurt, porridge was lovey, lemon water and all the fried items.
Cons: More newspapers / books in the lobby and maybe option to get a beach towel @ the pool for any sea swimming, a couple of beach toys, herbal tea option in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the family room, it was warm and the beds comfortable, the views are amazing. My sister, daughter and grand daughter shared the room with me and we had such quality time together, we enjoyed the breakfast each morning, lovely variety of food, never felt hungary, my daughter and grand daughter took advantage of the spa and leisure centres while my sister and I just relaxed. We all have had a brilliant time, Thankyou to all at the Shandon Hotel.
Cons: Because of my eyesight I found the lighting in the room quite dim, but this will never stop me from returning to the Shandon, it just made it difficult to read, which I like doing to relax.

Pros: Excellent hotel and facilities
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a good temperature - usually hotel rooms are too hot for me.
Cons: The breakfast was ok. Service was great but selection of hot food for vegetarians isn’t varied enough. Mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans and eggs. But there was plenty of continental choice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast lovely staff super attentive.
Cons: charged me and extra 10 on arrival because I didn't update 2 guest on booking.com. When I did update on booking.com room was still charged 79 per room but hotel reception charged me extra £10 so that really annoyed me, not the fact of paying 10 euro extra its the principal. Email hotel just to let them know they said they would speak to reception staff.
