Pros (+) Free wi-fi (but it was slooooooow since they were fully booked). Pool, warm breakfast included. Close to Jack Frost.
Cons (-) This is a former Ramada and it's a little run-down. We visited on President's weekend and it was fully booked - paid $250 for two nights. Aside from the rooms being run down a bit, it was nice enough considering. The breakfast offered warm scrambled eggs and home fries that were included. Pros (+) I liked the location, which was right off of the highway and just down the road from my family’s cabin and the Francis E. Walter Dam. I also liked that the facility offered a pool, some fitness equipment, a hot breakfast, and games and barbecue equipment outside.
Cons (-) This facility is unclean and not maintained well. The scariest experience was in using the elevators to go to our room on the fourth floor. The elevator is very shaky, and some of the buttons either don’t work or don’t light up. However, following breakfast one morning, I left the breakfast area holding my toddler’s hand in one hand and the remaining two sips of my coffee in a cup in my other hand...
