8.0 Excellent
Pros: Under difficult circumstances (Covid 19 restrictions) the staff were excellent, and did everything they could for us.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Pool and gym shut instantly when Corona virus on tv. Should have kept it open until close of business that day.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel had nice ambience.
Cons: The bed was just a standard double. Would have preferred something larger.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, breakfast good.
Cons: We were in room 233 and had to buy ear plugs as constant noise from the extractor fan going through the pipes all night long, should have insisted on moving rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were a good size and very clean. Nice big comfy bed. It was ideally situated for the Heysham ferry port which was about 10 mins away in a taxi.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We went to an evening wedding doo in the Halton Suite. It was a good sized room with a bar.
Cons: Was very hot in the Halton suite as it has low ceilings.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Booked a standard double room, therefore expected a standard size double bed which in the UK is 4 foot 6. The double bed in our room was 4 foot. We struggled to get comfy and we are not large people, I'm a size 12 and my husband is a medium Size. We were so disappointed... The premier Inn is across the road giving king size beds.. Go there..

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room, pleasant staff.
Cons: Better breakfast for vegetarians/vegans. The breakfast used to feature grilled field mushrooms a few years ago, but sadly they have gone from the menu. The hot buffet food would be improved with more vegetarian/vegan options, without having to order them from the kitchen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were ALL absolutely superb, extremely friendly, very helpful and always smiling. As a lone traveller they made me feel at home. Hotel was warm and cosy with a roaring fire in, just what was needed on a bitterly cold day. Breakfast was great - really good quality sausages compared to the vast majority of hotels. Room was lovely - the stuffed dog on my bed was a lovely touch and the toiletries were excellent quality (Elemis)
Cons: Nothing. Bathroom was a little bit dated, but hey it did it's job, the water was hot, it was spotlessly clean, the towels were fluffy, and had really good quality toiletries. What more could you ask for?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were happy to return to Lancaster House and it did not disappoint: friendly staff, very comfortable rooms, good breakfast, plenty of parking and lovely ambience.
Cons: -
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff lovely, room lovely and clean. Spa treatments very nice.
Cons: I have to say, I was disappointed with the breakfast. I had the vegan option and it was just so unimaginative. Vegan bacon is pretty gross anyway, I don't know why anyone would eat that. The mushrooms were dry. I've had some great vegan breakfasts with fab ingredients and this was a bit poor - sorry!! Next time I'll stick to toast. Some "Flora" dairy free spread would be useful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Bar area was relaxed and food menu good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Considering the situation with Coronavirus the hotel managed very well . Good food and a very comfortable hotel .

Pros: Very kind welcoming and friendly staff Room large clean and good shower Great location and quiet room Excellent food.
Cons: Not clear where reception was when we arrived as bar was busy and reception is beyond the bar area- better signage would be helpful. Food was excellent but really long wait before we were served- staff seemed over-stretched. Also my wife was given wine in a dirty glass - and the barman, instead of pouring a fresh portion of wine just emptied the wine from the dirty glass into a clean one- which wasn't very hygienic. Lastly all the beer hand pumps were broken when we arrived which was disappointing as I was looking forward to trying the great range of beers.
