Excellent, friendly staff. Excellent location. Terrific information provided. Shower massages should be provided. Coffee iin room should be provided. Hotel shows wear and tear. Beds comfortable. Having a pool is great. Parking excellent. Racoons & fireflies were wonderful. There is a Walmart and everything else within a quarter mile. In spite of bathing issues and no coffee in room (both of which you can prepare for) I strongly recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival at the front desk we all felt like we had interrupted her slow period of the day as we were checking in around 4 PM and were the only ones at the front desk but Callie seemed preoccupied with her cell phone.. Callie seemed to have an attitude problem. We awoke the next morning to find letters under our doors stating that we were already guilty of smoking in our rooms and any further infractions would result in a $250 cleaning fee. We were four senior citizens returning home from a week long golf trip stopping for the night near the half way point of our journey home. Two of us are still smokers but we both used the designated smoking area at the rear of the motel one time. We ordered pizza upon arrival, ate it and we were all sleeping by 8 PM as we were hitting the road early in the AM. No motel staff had ever come to our room to inspect it nor did we ever see any of the "evidence" for the crime which we were already convicted of. This is an annual trip and I can assure you where we will not be staying next year. As of yet we have not been charged for the $250 cleaning fee.

Pros:My boyfriend and I enjoyed our room. We were luck enough to be able to reserve a smoking room which is a very nice luxury to have. The continental breakfast had some good choices and was a nice way to start off our day. The hotel was located close to a Walmart which was very convenient.
Cons:I did not think that the room was worth was nearly $200 we paid. The location was 20 minutes away from the parts of Hocking Hills that we were visiting (Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave). While the room was nice, the shower drained slowly. I was standing in over ankle deep water at the end of each of my 15 minute showers. And channels that my boyfriend and I consider pretty basic, like Cartoon Network, were not available.

Pros:Staff was great. Very clean. Pool/hot tub was a nice touch. Loved the deck that overlooked pool
Cons:No DVD player in room or complimentary soda which was promised.
