Central location, easy access to underground and nearby theaters. Smooth check in experience.
Despite requesting a quiet room, we were allocated a one directly adjacent to the railway station roof walkway. Consequently kept awake most of the night by workmen walking past the room window. Poor service in lounge bar, wrong meal order was delivered twice on third occasion gave up and just ate it also had to chase up a missing side order. Both bars stop serving a lot earlier than stated closing time. Hotel offered a room upgrade (subject to availability) on a future booking..no thanks. Not a 4 star experience.
The room especially , the dimensions , the high ceilings ... i will be using the hotel frequently going forward - LOVED IT
Everything was good
Bit of a mix up when we checked in.
Great check out time (Midday). Complimentary items in fridge.
I asked to pay for the room beforehand so that I didn’t have to deal with it on checkout. The receptionist took a while to understand this but said that was fine and I thought the transaction went through. The next morning on checkout I was told it was just a prepayment check and I still needed to pay. This slowed my leaving which is what I wanted to avoid.
Location good for Victoria Station
All the staff were foreign and few spoke good English. Service in the bar was very slow despite it being quiet. The hotel had reserved us the wrong kind of room but made it out to be our fault and the receptionist was surly.. The only lift still working had an intermittent fault and was therefore dangerous. All in all a poor hotel
