Pros: The hosts were absolutely amazing. The view was good, the room was spacious. Hospitality was impressive. Nice breakfast, too.
Cons: The only thing, which is minor looking back, is that my bed shook once somebody closed the door on the floor below. I suppose its the age of the property. But this was not critical.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Proper hotel with amazing staff going the extra mile.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff very attentive once you asked for something. Staff would carry condiments/cutlery and drinks to table If you asked. View was okay from balcony. I had a birthday card from the hotel slipped under my door. Other guests friendly. Dogs generally under control and quiet. Room and room service immaculate. Quality bed, on the firm side. Endless hot water. Breakfast was fresh and varied. Although entire dinner menu was "carvery" style, ie: self service, the food was still remarkably fresh tasting. Even fish survived relatively well. Nice touches, like tissues and basic toiletries supplied.
Cons: Menu was pretty basic, considering the hotel rating. Slightly complicated system of times for different menus, restaurant/bar. Okay once you asked how it worked. Most food, not served to table in either restaurant or bar, unless you asked for it. It was unusual to self serve meals like steamed fish from a "carvery" as they called it (basically self-service). Though it meant you could have as many sides as you liked, and less potatoes for example). Private event went on till midnight, noisy in room, music and compare. Lunch event on Saturday, meant I didn't get lunch, as the private event (150+people) used same order point as guests. It meant I queued for 45 minutes and then only time for a coffee before leaving. Children playing football outside main door and climbing on fountain at 9pm (no adults present)? Despite CCTV everywhere, no-one intervened. Restaurant room dingy lighting, no daylight, not great for breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast very good location excellent food generally excellent bed very comfortable
Cons: didn't like shower over bath
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive , could do with some general marten W and decoration

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasantly surprised at size of room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff great people skills. Location was lovely great sea view from our room also smashing breakfast
Cons: Just a suggestion that the exterior could do with a lick of paint
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great views, really comfortable bed, and breakfast was really good. Staff lovely and very efficient.
Cons: Room classed as deluxe double but bathroom although very clean was outdated. 60s hairdryer on the wall not working. Bath panel coming off with raw edge with one screw and tape trying to keep it on. Not enough shelf space for soap bag etc. A soap dish fixed next to the bath that was obviously very old and worn. A shame because for these things corrected I would pay over £120 for a room with that view. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast and staff fantastic. stair carpet very poor taped nearly every step. Get these things sorted and would gladly stay again and would recommend to my friends but feel they are missing a trick as the position of this hotel is fantastic and views right over to Brixham and the surrounding estuary.

Pros: Excellent Breakfast, Helpful staff and good service. Dinner very good. Good location. Nice clean room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: An outstanding stay, which was fabulous in all aspects. The food of course was a stand out.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The reception staff were first rate. There did not appear to be. Very much coordination with the restaurant staff towards the customer. I felt that as the customer there were several occasions when we felt that the service we expected was very lacking. The breakfast staff were more attentive. To get served at the bar we had to attract someone’s attention, no coordination.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful views, warm and helpful staff. The room we stayed in (Nuthatch) was beautifully decorated and had a lovely balcony with a view.
Cons: For the calibre of the establishment and price of the room, breakfast was quite limited and disappointing. Other guests have noted this too and now I see why. Hopefully, they will take note. We would have loved it, if there was a small gym on site with basic equipment.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, service and food superb

Pros: We had realy small but super cosy, clean room with kingsize bed and great seaview. We also had second room with realy comfortable single beds. English breakfast was traditional and good. Hotel is almost on the beach and like 10 minute walk to Exmouth center where you can get something to eat for lunch/dinner
Cons: Hotel did not offer dinners at the time of our visit and wifi is charged (1pound per stay/day?)

7.5 Good
Pros: It was very clean, comfy beds and nice staff. The location is perfect for the beach and the town.
Cons: It's a bit dated could do with a revamp. My toilet was loose and the door handle on the bathroom was missing 2 screws which nearly came off and I would have been stuck in there!
