4.0 Okay
Pros: The sea view (ignoring the building wagons/work out front) was beautiful. The bed was very comfy.. didn't get much sleep but at least it was comfy non sleep.
Cons: Turns out we were above the entertainment room.. the singer could clearly be heard in our room.. the floor vibrated.. wanted an early night but no chance! Hotel fully booked so we couldn't request a different room. Would have been nice on check in to be told this! Bathroom toilet was dirty (I cleaned it!) But went to have a shower this morning and changed mind plug hole full of someone else's hair! Outside there's building wagons and stuff going on... they started up at 6.50am! We should have been told! Room smelled like my old nans house. Breakfast was between 8 & 9.30.. we went down for 8.45.. and felt like we were an inconvenience.. I had vege breakfast everything was barely warm though the egg was hot.. husbands breakfast was hotter.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very satisfied with all aspects in our stay.
Cons: Nothing to do with the Hotel itself but on looking out of the window we noticed plastic bags and rubbish in the 'yard'
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and value for money.
Cons: Hotel is dated with no “wow factor “ adequate but not exceptional
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was warm. Bed comfortable. I liked the added blanket I could put on the bed. Hot running water in the basin and the shower. Nice big shower. Good shelf above basin for toiletries. Plenty of mirrors.
Cons: I had a wake up call twice which I didn’t ask for, this was at 6.30 a.m. The housekeeping staff came in at 9.00 a.m whilst I was in the bathroom, surely they would halve known the room hadn’t been vacated by that time. This happened to my husband in the next room also.
5.0 Okay
Pros: the rooms were fantastic nice staff & very clean rooms...
Cons: The breakfast was bad very cold & we were in the other room on are own so the staff didnt come to us for 20mins or more to take order for food on sat 14th march...then it was very cold & you could throw the bacon like a frisbee & break a window it was so hard....so we didnt enjoy the breafast even the tea was cold too...had to chase for some milk...not good at all......☹☹☹☹☹

Pros: I had a clean room with a lovely sea view, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The value for money provided was exceptional. This is an unpretentious hotel which offers everything needed for a comfortable stay in lovely Exmouth.
5.0 Okay
Pros: For the price, it was about what I expected. It was clean and tidy, but nothing remarkable. Breakfast was fair. The view from the room was good, as we could see over the estuary. We used the hotel as a base, so we did not explore all the facilities, such as the bar or the restaurant in the evening.
Cons: The hotel is tired. There is a lot of noise in the hotel, primarily because people were talking in the corridor early in the morning and the walls between the rooms are thin. There was no shampoo or shower gel. The bedroom would have been served better with au up to date shower rather a bath with a shower attachment.

Pros: Breakfast Dinner Comfy Bed Wet room Staff Gardens
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, lovely friendly staff and the room was fabulous. The bed was huge and really comfortable, and a spacious bathroom.Looked as if it had been recently refurbished. Great breakfast. All in all, excellent value for money, and the icing on the cake was that the hotel is super pet friendly..... brilliant!
Cons: If l was going to be really nit picky!...The reception area a little jaded, and the bar area could perhaps be a bit more comfortable. If the bar and the lounge area was knocked through to create a bigger area would be great. Some comfy sofas in the bar would help and maybe encourage more people. Shame there wasn’t a real log fire in the fireplace, (everyone loves a log fire!)especially when the weather is poor. The drinks are good value in the bar. Tried the evening meal on the first night, they had run out of some of the items. We had the chicken and mushroom pie which wasn’t very inspiring, a bit like school dinners and we couldn’t eat it . There are plenty of restaurants nearby and we ate out after this. The breakfast however, is absolutely fine and well topped up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff at a difficult time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, just 5 -10 minutes walk from the town centre (admittedly uphill, but that means it's downhill going into town) - it looks further on the map. Friendly, helpful reception, comfortable, a bit old-fashioned, public areas and room. Pleasant, though uninspiring, offering from the restaurant, but excellent service.
Cons: I probably wouldn't stay here again until they provide wi-fi in the room, but surely they must soon; it has become a sine qua non these days. Offering wi-fi in the public rooms only does not do the trick.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable.I had tea /coffee making facilities. There was a tv in my room and it worked. The crowning glory of this hotel is the grounds and location..
Cons: My room was underground so no view. The bathroom /shower needed a refurbish, so much so that i didnt use the shower. The breakfast offering was very comprehensive but is was a shame that there was no one on hand to point out how to proceed and use the machines. My breakfast was cold.
