Pros:VERY beautiful. Comfortable stay.
Cons:Seems a bit "greedy" and locals told me that was generous. VERY OVERPRICED. Minor: at this price there should be real coffee! Staff seems mediocre. A couple next to me at dinner waited a VERY long time for their meal and then it was cold. Consider alternatives to touristy Mandawa. That's what I learned from traveling around Shakawati and talking to locals. Mandawi is the most touristy. Nawalgarh is a much better base. (Consider Tourist Pension; I had a good experience there.) Also consider Rāmgarh and Narayan Niwas castle for a very special experience.
