Summary of reviews
Guests say
Most guests appreciated the hotel's excellent beachfront location and enjoyed the pool, which was often described as clean and pleasant. However, many reviews highlighted serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and outdated facilities, with several guests reporting problems such as stained rooms, mold, rust, broken amenities, and general lack of upkeep. While some found the staff friendly and helpful, service was generally seen as limited by the hotel's shortcomings. Overall, the location and pool were the main positives, but cleanliness and maintenance were major concerns.

Probably best option in Cuyutlan, which isnt saying much. Many other hotels have closed or not been well maintained. San Rafael no longer has restaurant or bar. When I arrived, receptionist didn't want to give me my room saying Kayak had not paid them. After showing my receipt, I was reluctantly given a room. Lock on door didnt work, curtains were broken.
