Pros: looks nice and clean
Cons: The receptionist at the premium section were like robots and not very friendly or sincere. We did not get out room until 3pm, fist time that has ever happen in all my travels. Food was tasteless
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pools are gorgeous, the all inclusive features are an amazing value, the beach is super enjoyable. Will definitely come back!
Cons: The rooms need better ventilation to avoid moisture from getting trapped inside.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good. The hotel is beautiful except for the restaurant.
Cons: The food at the restaurant was not great. It was just ok. Definitely overpriced. The bathroom was beautiful but the soap dispenser in the shower was broken, details like that made the hotel look like it's not been taken care of. Internet was not free.
7.5 Good

Pros: The gym is grate, the restaurant Bugambilias is even more faster than the snack bar and the variety of different pools is excellent the little beach offers a nice time snorkeling...
Cons: The toilet in the room are not exactly private and the snack bar is not to quickly like should be but I think the price compensate the inconvenience...

1.0 Poor
Pros: The view has great, but the rooms are very far from the lobby and resort area.
Cons: Horrible staff. The front desk were not very helpful and the waiters by the pool area were very rude. A waiter was the worst.

Pros: Wonderful architecture, calm beach.Superb staff. Alpha at front desk so helpful. Marina our fantastic maid is so beautiful, kind and does excellent towel sculptures. Magdaleno at adult pool is attentive. Sandra is a wonderful ambassador for the Las Hadas hotel. Lido our tennis instructor made our holiday with his excellent lessons.. we will be back for more lessons for sure. Senor Luna was everywhere making sure all guests were well taken care of. Eleazar helped our Spanish, Bryan(chef), Frederico, beach staff and hard working gardeners all contributed to making Las Hadas a great holiday.
Cons: all good
7.1 Good
Pros: The Beach Club upgrade was well worth it. The gift shop was small but well done with friendly clerk. The Breakfast buffet was excellent.
Cons: Some staff weren’t friendly or patient.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of our room in the resort was close to all the amenities with one of the best views from the balcony. Although the resort is an older one the buildings, pools, restaurants and other amenities are very well kept and the architecture is so interesting.
Cons: The bathroom sinks need replacement.
Tesoro Manzanillo - Manzanillo - Building

8.6 Excellent (2,154 reviews)
Overview Reviews

4.2 Okay
Pros: BeSutiful
Cons: Staff the women in the dining and towel area very unfriendly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view was beautiful! Staff is very friendly. Big room with fridge. They keep water and sodas stocked in them. The location is great. The pool never got crazy crowded so it was enjoyable for all. Lots of places to sit in the shade and enjoy the view. The sun rising from behind means you get practically the whole morning in a shaded pool. The rooms were nice and cool for when you want to escape the heat. They had shows and dance parties in the evenings. Sports on the beach. I saw a children's play area but it wasn't open when we went, appeared under construction so call ahead if this matters to you. The gym is big and has free weights, cardio machines, a TRX cable and lots of room to use for other workouts.
Cons: The food was not great. It was edible and there were options to choose from. It's good in that you won't overeat since the taste isn't great. Desserts were hit or miss. The drinks are strong on the sugar, low on alcohol. Ketchup is watered down. No blankets on the bed. Just the sheets and a thin cover. With the air blasting, one may want thicker cover. But I also didn't check to see if I could adjust the air and I didn't ask for a blanket so it's possible this isn't an issue that can't be resolved. I was fine with the sheets but others may not be. Not a lot for teens to do, it seemed. Or we weren't aware of those activities. Just swimming and the beach, maybe a boat ride but would have been nice to know all the options. So do your research ahead of time. We weren't there long enough for it to matter.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The resort is a well run, busy, very-family friendly resort that seems to be popular with Mexican families. Beautiful protected bay, very safe paddling area. Beach is a little short for good walking but very peaceful. We also enjoyed the nightly shows and the a la carte restaurants.
Cons: We are a retired couple who were expecting a week of relaxation. Much as we like children, we weren't expecting quite as many. Every meal in the buffet facility was punctuated by wailing or screaming children, no doubt exhausted by a day in the sun and short on naps. Tip- the a la carte restaurants are good and recommended to get away from the chaos in the buffet area. Final complaint - the recreation staff blare music, with huge speakers, heavy bass, at the pool from first thing in the morning to 7-8 pm. If your room overlooks the beach and pool, its hard to get away from it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facility was great kind off hidden lunch was great.
Cons: Dinner wasn't as what I expected
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and well maintained property.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff! There was not one staff member who failed to acknowledge us every time with a pleasant smile. I especially enjoyed the water aerobics. After each session we were given a temple massage by the instructors.
Cons: We could only think of 2 things that would have made our stay more enjoyable. The first one was all the birds and their droppings in the open restaurant. That's a tough one cuz we enjoyed sitting out there. Probably the our biggest concern were the waiters in the ala carte restaurant. Compared to the waiters in the other restaurant they were very slow and not as attentive. Both times we were there, they failed to bring us our second drink order.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value. Friendly staff.
Cons: Weird food hours. No options for food at night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I was there for business and the hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and the location great.
Cons: The fact that there is no internet in the resort besides in the reception area. Being there for business this was quite important and crucial.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. 9.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool area was lovely, and the rooms were huge and clean with balconies over the marina. We will come back lots of times. the breakfast buffet was extremely good, with lots of choices.
Cons: the mini golf really didn't work and hadn't been kept up but that wasn't a big deal. The food was well cooked but a bit boring and one restaurant - Antonio's- was only open on the weekend, which we didn't know and were sad about.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location and nice grounds
Cons: Staff in the restaurants are not motivated and not very helpful. Hotel is a rabbit warren and have to use 2 different elevators to get to room. View from the room was the parking lot - don't believe the publicity photos. Hotel looks tired as not much maintenance being done.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. The pools were enjoyable.
Cons: As a paying client at Grand Bay I think a free punch card for transport to and from Bara de Navidad would be an excellent idea.
7.9 Good
Pros: The architecture, marina, staff and surrounding property.
Cons: The up graded room over looked a garbage dump. Even though it was on the 10th floor with the pool. Asked to change rooms. But did not get a credit!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Our second time visiting Grand Bay Hotel, although it appears Wyndham owns it now, the sign still says Grand Bay. The staff and the architecture are the best things about the hotel. The pools are cool, which is welcome in January/early February when we visited. I agree that they are likely somewhat understaffed as it can take time to get a beverage around the pool. Most of the really good restaurants over in Barra are the same, though, very leisurely service wth very good food. They strive to please at the hotel. Water taxi service to Barra and the Marina at Isla de Navidad runs constantly and is always a pleasant little adventure.
Cons: It doesn't bother me, but this is not like other coastal communities with a nice beach, the alternatives to use kayaks, jet skis and other water toys makes up for it. We took jet skis to Melaque on a previous trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Grand Bay is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet breakfast, facilities, rooms, location were all very nice
Cons: The only drawback was the ocean (lagoon) was not clean. If you enjoy swimming in the ocean, I wouldn't recommend the hotels in the center of Barra either as the beaches slope steeply.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breathtaking location, beautiful resort, staff was very helpful, dinner in the terrace restaurant was 5 star. Pool area was large and very nice. The landscaping around the resort was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms were very clean.
Cons: We liked everything about this resort.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The grounds (gardening) were very well kept. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The hotel is a magnificent structure located on a beautiful expansive property. Various dining areas to choose from but the food we got tasted institutional. The pool area is large and well laid out with a in pool bar as well as areas for kids. There is boat taxi to the town across the lagoon if you want good food.
Cons: The building needs maintenance. Paint flaking, electrical switches broken, patio door hardware broken, etc. Most concerning the A/C systems are contaminated with mold. In our room we had to shut the a/c off and leave the patio door open to try to reduce the mold odor. In the lobby if you look up at the a/c vent openings there are black mold stains around them from condensate leakage.
7.1 Good
Pros: I like the location. Food is good. Nice staff.
Cons: People smoking on the balcony which made it intolerable for me to sit on my balcony. I did not like my first room, it smelled very musty. The pillows don't smell good.
7.7 Good
Pros: It's a total getaway from any type of city life, with so many amenities to enjoy, and only minutes and a short water taxi ride to town if you so desire!!
Cons: We enjoyed, the pools, the nearby golf and just the general comfort, the food was also very good and the water taxi to town!
7.1 Good
Pros: Older, charming. Excellent people working there. Very proud and informative. Could easily become an all around 5 star resort. Would like to return...
Cons: Beds are very hard. Many areas in need of maintenance or repairs. The undesirable things I've seen, in my opinion, are due to understaffing.

Cons: Construction, low water pressure in shower.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Staff was helpful, friendly, and looked out for our needs. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to every morning. Pool was great! Our young niece, age 11, loved it, as did my In-laws. Very relaxing weekend. Definitely will return agan next year.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Breakfast buffet was terribly crowded... He had to leave and ate somewhere else. Shame because it was included.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness and Comfortable Bed.
Cons: We requested an extra towel do to us using the only 2 towels in room, room had only 1 hand towel and no wash clothes , Torn Shower curtain and also requested an extra pillow and WAS TOLD WE COULDN’T HAVE ONE ! And same for extra towel COULDN’T have an extra one either ! I suffer from fibromyalgia and my body hurts and I need to SLEEP WITH EXTRA PILLOWS AROUND ME. The only nice helpful person was the young lady who checked us in , forgot her name but KUDOS to her. Also the food That was supposed to be warm in the breakfast was cold and they ran out of Coffee. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL !! As we checked out I mentioned my issues to the morning management and he seemed to just be passive about it ! NO BUENO !
7.0 Good
Pros: Tatiana did an excellent job of cleaning our room, even though we were at the beach daily and tracked in a lot of sand. Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Felt safe and secure. Front desk helped us quickly and kindly when the A/C in our room did not work. They relocated us quickly. Easy location for catching bus or taxi.
Cons: There is no place to hang wet beach clothes. A retractable clothes line in the bathroom would be excellent. Boiled eggs at breakfast would be very convenient too for those who need protein but have to catch a bus or plane. BOOKING.COM says 'we speak your language'. Only one person spoke very broken English, so that statement should be removed online.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was nice. The offerings were normal Mexican staples like chilaquiles, toast, eggs, and fruit. The coffee available at all times of the day was really good and pretty delicious. The views from the top floors of the ocean were also excellent. The pool was decent, if maybe a little small.
Cons: The toiletries were very basic and it sucked that for what is normally considered "basic" (such as razors) you needed to buy them yourself.
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice location, near beach, everything is close by
Cons: Different photos of rooms on the internet, much smaller, smelling from toilet, swimming pool was very dirty and much smaller than photos from internet. Conclusion is that person who was doing photos is professional, he made good work in photoshop. And yeah, stuff don’t know one word of english. Is that normal for hotel in touristic place?!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good, easy walk to restaurants, shopping etc.
Cons: Shower was not very warm. Breakfast was average.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, friendly staff, easy access. I will come back Thank you
Cons: Lacks ventilation

Pros: If you have business to do in the Port , it is a good place to spend a night or two.
Cons: Being close to the port and on a main road means that the area is far from pretty or pleasant .No restaurants in walking distance.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice. Room was very clean. Enjoyed the swimming pool, very relaxing.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The paint job on the street side of this barn did a great job of hiding what lay beyond.
Cons: The false advertising---this is a 1 star at best! Told we had reserved a two bedroom apartment but it was a old worn out, dank, STINKY room with two old beds. The air conditioner did not work. The 'shower' barely ran. Rust or 'something' came out of the pipe. We had no 'ocean view' and there was dirt on the floor and cobwebs on the ceiling. We could not communicate even one word with the people. We canceled our room and left (they charged us for the ENTIRE stay of 7 days!) up (N.) the street and found a "Hotelito" that was an awesome little place. Everything worked, clean pool, on the beach, clean rooms, air conditioning, young lady spoke excellent English and they understood our broken Spanish. So DO NOT stay at this Hotel Santa Cecelia-DON'T! They have falsely advertised their place. Eric Simpson
6.3 Good
Pros: Closeness to the beach and getting around.
Cons: The hotel needs updating, it is very old and we had to clean the chairs out front of our room to sit in them, they were sooo dirty. It needs a lot of work.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The view of the full moon at the beach, and the tequila we bought at Oxxo
Cons: Everything. This place is a dump. Fixtures don’t work, others falling out of the wall, wires exposed. One tap worked, the shower head sprayed water out of every place except where it was supposed to. Halls and stairways dark. “Security deposit” in cash after payment?
6.3 Good
Pros: Pool
Cons: Really old installations, in the bathroom, fan, tv
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The paint job on the street side.
Cons: Everything else! Honest, this place is horrible. In total doubt, we nevertheless asked to be shown a room. The air conditioning units DO NOT work (and it's hot/humid here in the dead of winter mind you), the rooms smelled 'rank' (actually no descriptive word comes to mind that reaches out and says the sh__ word) and everything is broken and in need of Superman! We left and walked up to the Holtelito which is totally cool. But we could NOT even stay one night here. I'll fight with Kayak later about returning my money as this place is falsely advertised!!!
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The room was ugly the world's worst rooms I have ever stayed dirty distinct the sheets are dirty awful awful vacation that have because of the room on the booking .com are really nice pictures but you guys lied to us pictures were like when this hotel was new right now it's ugly you don't have any idea how ugly it is
Cons: Nothing it was awful dirty and stinky
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: It was on the ocean

4.6 Okay
Pros: The location, and the view of the ocean is amazing.

Cons: Late night loud music
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Honestly, this was the best hotel stay I have ever had in Mexico! The hotel, staff, owner were all exceptional. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and great for swimming. The selection of neighboring restaurants is amazing, with one of the top restaurants in all of Manzanillo, being right next door.
Cons: I had to leave....I would have enjoyed to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beach in front of the hotel is very clean.
Cons: The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but it is near a street full of restaurants. If you walk around 5-10 minutes, you can find something good.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel is directly at the beach and the pool area is really nice. The staff are kind and helpful.
Cons: The room was not especially clean when we checked in: a really big dead butterfly was lying on the table, there were spots of smashed insects on the walls, the mirrors and the bathroom sink had not been cleaned in a while. We told the receptionist about it and the cleaning lady was supposed to clean the room more thoroughly, which we noticed to some extent, but it still was not as clean as we expected.

Cons: It was great
8.8 Excellent

Cons: There was no bottled water available in the room and, although, there was a 50 gallon container of water in the hallway, there was no container to transport it to the room. The shower did not have grab-bars and the staircase did not have a railing.
