Pros (+) The location was within walking distance of work I was there for. Staff were very helpful and cheerful. My room overlooked boats docked at the marina. My kind of thing
Cons (-) They are in the process of remodeling and updating. My room had not been updated yet so was a little worn but served fine.

Pros (+) We enjoyed the location of Sombrero hotel and the free use of their boat ramp and trailer parking they offer to guests. The marina is about a 30 minute ride from Sombrero Reef Light.
Cons (-) Some of the property appeared to be occupied by extended stay patrons that enjoyed settling their domestic problems at midnight over a few too many drinks. Some nights were less than restfull. We got our money worth from the stay. Not unhappy.
