Cons:

I got a flat tire on the highway 15 min after picking up the car and none of the hertz assistance numbers would allow me to speak with a human. It took friends of mine calling in their native language to light a fire to actually send help. Hertz is happy to charge me for that though.

We picked up a car in Marseille and dropped it off in Nice. At both locations the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We also got an unexpected upgrade and the whole process was very smooth. We will definitely use Sixt again next time we are in France.

The car was dirty, it has been rattling my whole trip so it’s very noisy and when I went an hour out of my way to try to exchange it they would not help me and told me to call the 800 number which was in French and didn’t recognize my booking code. Very frustrating. Will never use them again as I paid a lot of money and got a lesser car then was promised.

The organization. The car broke down and I lost 7 hours of the trip because of the team's bad organization in picking up the car and picking me up. I would like to have my money back.

Pros:

unfortunately our flight from Amsterdam to Nice was cancelled and we were directed to Nice, having felt concerned we wouldn't be able to pick a car up from Nice, we were apprehensive but were dealt with excellently from the receptionist to the handover guy, we were aware there would be insurance costs on top of the hire, so there were no surprises. The Twingo served us well as we travelled along the French Riviera. We would definitely return to enterprise for our next hire

Staff were excellent and extremely helpful - especially one man named Joe Hart who went out of his way to help me with a particular request.

nice people to deal with close to the airport (you can go walking, no need for the shuttle unless you have a lot of luggage)

the papers with the issues of the car is not clear. there are no drawings of the car, everything is written.

Pros:

I rarely rent from Sixt since they came up expensive usually, but I had this great offer and it was not listed as Sixt but rather FLIZZR. The car war new and clean, No issues with picking up the car, very helpful customer service as I had experienced in former encounters with Sixt. Also the customer service representative hinted clearly on all and any pre-conditions (scratches, small dents), which I would have never been able to detect, since the rental place at the Cologne airport is rather a dark parking garage. I was even able to get an automatic for a small additional charge ($5 a day).

Cons:

The car, an Opel (Vauxhaul or General Motors), was supposed to be an automatic, but felt like a hybrid manual and had a very strange way to shift. Didn't shift smoothly, but I was stagnantly shifting, at least I did not have to shift manually.
