Staff, Raul and David, were so helpful and great to chat with upon arrival. The stay was FABULOUS!! Breakfast was such a treat, and the view on the balcony was unbelievable! My son commented that this was his favorite hotel ever! Staff works really hard at making this the best experience ever!

After five nights in one of the “prestige” Reforma hotels, we transferred to the Zocalo Central hotel just to taste a different part of Mexico City. We are so glad we did and wish we had moved earlier. The location is simply jaw-dropping. Our room, 515, (we were told) was the best in the house. I can see why. Pros (+) Location. Staff members were very accommodating and did successfully resolve a major problem with noise.
Cons (-) There was a terrible problem with noise late one night due to needed repairs. This should not have happened; an alternative should have been found., and conflict avoided.

Pros (+) The hotel is a gem. It is centrally located, very clean and the staff was amazing. They were friendly and helped us out with getting around the city. As soon as you walk in they make you feel welcomed. They greet you with a smile and a glass of authentic horchata or jamaica. Love it!! The evening guest services provides us with suggestions for excursions, which we took advantage of.
Cons (-) The restaurant buffett was a bit overpriced. It does provide a great view, so that's what you mainly pay for.
