Pros: The Nota Bene was a lovely surprise. The decor both in the main building was very modern and the facilties in the room were excellent. The breakfast was very good and was tne best we had experienced anywhere in France.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was closed on Sundays, this fact shoul be displayed on the website
Pros: - Modernized room (new equipment, bath room,...) - Air condition - free hotel parking area
Pros: A great place to stay and I am cycling EuroVelo 6. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the restaurant was good. My room was also of a high standard.
Pros: The rooms were fantastic, the restaurant downstairs is great, the value for money on the rooms is great.
Cons: Only downside was a lot of banging in one of the nights we stayed, plus the air con was very very loud and the street too busy to open the window.
Pros: Spacious room with air conditioning. Close to supermarket and excellent breakfast.
Cons: View to the parking
Pros: Breakfast good, location fine.
Pros: Absolutely great!
Pros: Great location, good restaurant, cool decor, dining patio
At the heart of the Saône-et-Loire region, opposite Maugrand park and 2 minutes from the city center, the Hotel ibis Montceau Les Mines welcomes you 24 hours a day to one of its 38 air-conditioned rooms. Located on the edge of Morvan park on the Route Cen tre-Europe Atlantique between Chalon-Sur-Saône and Paray-Le-Monial, and just 15 minutes from the Gare du Creusot TGV train station. The hotel also offers 2 fully-equipped meeting rooms, a bar serving snacks 24/7, free WIFI and a private outdoor car park.
Pros: Quite a basic room but very spacious. If I had to describe in one word I would say clinical. It was clean and neat but without any character. The bathroom felt like one in a caravan - one of those pop in types. Nothing particularly wrong but I really couldn't figure out why I paid more than I would have for the attached Budget version of Ibis.
Pros: Confortable and convenient
Cons: The shower floor was very slippery which made gliding around to chase the few drops falling out of the shower an interesting challenge. Don’t know whether we have been unlucky but this is the second Ibis we have stayed in recently with a poor shower. At least the few drops there were, were warm.
At the heart of the Saone-et-Loire region, opposite the Maugrand park, 2 minutes from the city center, the ibis budget Montceau-Les-Mines warmly welcomes you 24 hours a day to one of its 43 air-conditioned rooms. Located at the gates of Morvan park on the R.C.E.A. road between Chalon-Sur-Saone and Paray-Le-Monial, just 10 minutes from the Gare du Creusot TGV train station, the hotel is an unmissable stop-off on your wine tasting and tourist trips. It also offers free WIFI and a private outdoor car park.
Pros: We needed room to sleep at night after 8 hours of driving and leave again in the morning, so in this sense this place offered what we needed, a clean room, bed and bathroom.
Cons: The walls are thin so if you have a bad neighbor you'll gonna hear it. Also, we had to have the air-condition on since there were mosquitoes outside and this air condition made some really funny noises which waked us up many times. And the city and the surrounding has in our short and little experience, very little to offer
Pros: Booked this hotel very last minute, literally a few minutes before arriving. Checking in was simple and the room wad just what was required, comfortable and clean.
Cons: As a solo traveler is wasn’t a problem, but the room layout is a bit different. The shower and wash basin are in the room and the toilet was in what looked like a cupboard. If you’re sharing the room you really are ‘sharing’.
Pros: Perfect over -night hotel as we were driving from Cherborg to the South.
Pros: Great French breakfast - superb croissants
Pros: It is simply a cheap hotel for an overnight stop near the motorway. Don't expect to spend a long holiday here. OTOH, the location is great near the motorway, there is cheap fuel and a supermarket nearby. Hotel has free parking. Everything is clean. You get a discount from the nearby grill restaurant.
Cons: Rooms are a bit small (that was expected) The nearby grill is only so good, next time we'll try something else. I find it quite annoying that booking.com insists on keeping me writing until the text is long enough.
Pros: Nearby ponds and parks.
Cons: Noise going from route N70.
Pros: Friendly reception staff, who can talk English . (It‘s not easy in France!) Monitored parking places, well designed, comfortable, clean and air conditioned rooms. High speed internet. Misc. restaurants closed to hotel. I felt myself very well in my room.

Pros: the room big est comfortable also a bathroom which is very nice, modern
Cons: not much choice for the breakfast
Pros: The price and facilities were on a par with much more expensive hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Nothing was too much effort.
Cons: Next to a busy road it was difficult to sleep with window open on a hot night. The bed was hard.
Pros: New rooms
Cons: Food used to be superb, now only snacks
Pros: Location for purpose of trip. Modern.
Cons: Reception bar and restaurant all shut by 9 pm. Rooms very basic. No tea/coffee making facilities.
