Summary of reviews

Guests say
Overall, guests praised the hotel for its excellent central location, friendly and helpful staff, and high standards of cleanliness. Many appreciated the charming garden and peaceful atmosphere. However, some guests felt the rooms were small or outdated, and there were occasional complaints about breakfast variety, bed comfort, and value for money. Despite minor drawbacks, the positive aspects, especially location and service, stood out.

Pros (+) The location is decent. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The grounds out back were beautiful.
Cons (-) The bed has seen better days. The hotel is tired. It has been updated, but oddly it wasn't completed. The doors to the rooms look horrendous, which is your first impression. The bathroom is awkward and tight. The room itself is pretty and has been mostly updated, but the beds/pillows need a serious upgrade.
