The room was mecer impecable ! We has to call everyday With a complaint that ir was dirty!
My stay was awesome!!
Staff was very friendly. We received a free upgrade overall experience was great!! Highly recommended!!
Loved the location, type of people vacationing, the boat that leaves from the hotel lobby is one of a kind, the private island is so relaxing and beautiful, the staff is all friendly and eager to help, so glad we picked this resort!
We had an issue with our room one night and the front desk assisted us with switching rooms.
Wait staff was slow and not attentive at the bar at the hotel.
There was nothing I did not like! Love love love the private island!!!!! Very contemporary hotel . Love it!!!
Luxury accommodations in downtown Oranjestad
The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and attend to your every need.
The location is excellent, and access to activities through the city was very simple. Staff is very courteous, rooms were well maintained and clean.
The pool area had DJ playing so loud that it was hindersome in the room in the afternoon and early evening. Pool is rather small and not enough places to relax during early evening hours. The rooms were pricey for the amenities provided. Staying at the Marriott on the west side of the island offers more amenities, larger room and less cost. But after all, it IS all about location, location, location, and the Rennaissance has it!
Great location in the heart of Oranjastad. Easy walk to great restaurants. Very clean. The staff were wonderful, especially Berlinda who helped us with restaurant reservations.
There is no real beach unless you ferry out to the private island. The island is pretty, but windy. There were no beach chairs available and even more limited if you wanted one in the shade. At the Marina, there is a modest sized pool but no beach chairs available in the mid afternoon. There is music playing all day, so there is no place in the resort for peace and quiet except your room. The room was modest sized, but a bit dated. It was quite expensive.
"Island View" does not mean a view of the private island. The front desk told me this means an island view as in Aruba is and island and you can view it.
The staff was friendly and remembered us during our stay. The room was comfortable and well equipped. There were many activities on premise which kept us busy, and the private island was beautiful. We enjoyed a couples massage and dinner for two package which was excellent.
The location was right at a shopping mall and plaza with plenty to do, but it was further away from the main hotel area where the nightlife and many of our friends were staying. Taxi trips to meet our friends or go out started to add up over our stay.
How can a resort be voted one of the best kid-friendly, romantic, and party hotels in Oranjestad? Located on the bustling cruise port, the upscale Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino features amenities that many Aruba hotels can never match. Plus, the hotel is massive resort offers two distinct properties inside, the adult-only Renaissance Marina and the family-friendly Ocean Suites.
The Renaissance is the only hotel in downtown Oranjestad, Aruba's hub for nightlife, shopping, and restaurants. While Eagle and Palm Beach are both 15-minutes or more away, the resort offers its own private island and small lagoon on the Ocean Suites side. Like the hotel, the island is divided into an adult-only area and family-friendly area. Other on-site amenities include two casinos, one being 24-hours, a luxury mall, a spa, 24-hour gym, and eight restaurants. The hotel also owns the outdoor market near the Marina.
Both the Marina and Ocean Suites rooms have been renovated to combine vintage glam with beachy colors and modern amenities. All one-bedroom suites boast balconies overlooking picturesque island surroundings. Accommodations at the Marina are smaller than the suites at Ocean Suites. All rooms feature MP3 players, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. Family suites include more in-room features.
The visually stunning hotel appeals to stylish young travelers through the lobby bar and rooftop pool, seniors through relaxing surroundings and games such as bingo, and families through multiple kid-friendly amenities. Guests who stay at Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino come from all over the world, but especially the U.S. and Europe.
