The room was mecer impecable ! We has to call everyday With a complaint that ir was dirty!
The location was perfect and was located at the quiet end away from the high rise hotels. There’s really great restaurants nearby if you didn’t want to dine at the hotel.Beautiful grounds and pools. The private island was amazing! Clean with world class service and cute flamingoes, too.
The coffee was horrible every day.
The location. Booked specifically to see the flamingos.
People who return each year and tip well clearly get preference at the bar etc. Totally and blatantly ignored until these people had been served!!! Not a nice feeling. We found it easier to get served in a timely manner by sitting at a table and having waiter service. For a Dutch Caribbean island it’s very much American orientated nothing like Europe!!! Taxes and tips on top of all prices shown Which is difficult for us Europeans to work out! Clearly have returning guests who don’t need everything explaining. First time at one of these resorts and we were not given much information and had to keep asking questions. Room dated. No USB points and not many sockets! The hotel has some really lazy guests!!! Given a towel you are clearly asked to bring it back when you have finished. Lots of people don’t, leaving them on sunbeds meaning other guests can’t get a sunbed. This could do with looking at and maybe a new system??
Located in the center of the Downtown very easy to access the public transportation. Amaizing private Island with very good service.
Loved the location and the fact that you can access the private island! There's a ton of shops and restaurants in walking distance which made nights really easy.
How can a resort be voted one of the best kid-friendly, romantic, and party hotels in Oranjestad? Located on the bustling cruise port, the upscale Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino features amenities that many Aruba hotels can never match. Plus, the hotel is massive resort offers two distinct properties inside, the adult-only Renaissance Marina and the family-friendly Ocean Suites.
The Renaissance is the only hotel in downtown Oranjestad, Aruba's hub for nightlife, shopping, and restaurants. While Eagle and Palm Beach are both 15-minutes or more away, the resort offers its own private island and small lagoon on the Ocean Suites side. Like the hotel, the island is divided into an adult-only area and family-friendly area. Other on-site amenities include two casinos, one being 24-hours, a luxury mall, a spa, 24-hour gym, and eight restaurants. The hotel also owns the outdoor market near the Marina.
Both the Marina and Ocean Suites rooms have been renovated to combine vintage glam with beachy colors and modern amenities. All one-bedroom suites boast balconies overlooking picturesque island surroundings. Accommodations at the Marina are smaller than the suites at Ocean Suites. All rooms feature MP3 players, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. Family suites include more in-room features.
The visually stunning hotel appeals to stylish young travelers through the lobby bar and rooftop pool, seniors through relaxing surroundings and games such as bingo, and families through multiple kid-friendly amenities. Guests who stay at Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino come from all over the world, but especially the U.S. and Europe.
