Staff was very friendly. Grounds were clean and well-kept. Lobby and several other photos presented on the website were completely wrong, however. There was no wood-paneled 2-story lobby, desert hills in back, nor adjoining sandy beach. Hotel was starting to show its age. Room smelled a little stale and windows hadn't been cleaned in a while. Pros (+) We keep returning to the Plaza because the accommodations and location are excellent; it is right next to the Taquiz public golf course and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A big plus is this is one of the few pet-friendly resorts in the entire RCI inventory.
