Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, making it easy to explore downtown Placerville and nearby attractions. The staff received many compliments for being friendly, attentive, and accommodating. However, several guests noted issues with cleanliness, such as unclean rooms and carpets, and some found the beds uncomfortable. Noise from the street and nearby bars was a common complaint, especially in rooms facing Main Street. While the historic charm and character of the hotel were appreciated, many mentioned that the property and furnishings could benefit from updates and better maintenance.AI-generated from customer reviews
