I didnt like that when showering the water temperature would change on its it's own from burning hot to ice cold which made it very uncomfortable.
Good location downtown. Hotel and casino are dated, it seems there's no longer investment in the facilities. Staff is generally friendly.
Two major problems: 1. My friend's car was stolen from the Harrah's parking garage! We were shocked, that on the 4th floor of Harrah's own garage our car could be egregiously stolen. After we reported the missing car to hotel security, we got an incident report, security reviewed garage cameras without showing us anything, and it took several hours to confirm that the car was indeed stolen at 4am the night before. We were unimpressed that Harrah's garage was unsafe to leave our car overnight. We were angry when they told us that "self parking is at your own risk" - even though the garage is branded as Harrah's. And we were most extremely disappointed when we reported the theft, and the hotel did nothing to make it up to us. We were explicitly told that neither the front desk/VIP desk nor the gaming host desk could do anything for us. Not the room free, nothing for our time wasted dealing with the theft, and not even a breakfast buffet for our troubles. Apparently, as guests we were supposed to be happy and satisfied with our experience having our car stolen. "Next time", the hotel suggested, "maybe we should valet". 2. I checked out a day early, and the front desk assured me I wouldn't be charged for the last night. After I checked out and got home, I saw that my reservation hadn't been changed. I contacted the hotel support and they said I was still active for that night. I had to contact them again to actually get my last night removed.
Hash hash a go go was excellent and the staff was the best ever! I love that we walked right out of the casino and found ourselves under the Reno sign over Virginia Street
There was no hot tub. There is nothing better than sitting in a hot tub in the wintertime.... pool area was closed for the season. Dumb move...
It was close to the row.
Did not have much good slot machines.
House keeping staff was very nice
Some staff very rude
