Overview

A short distance from the historic walled city of Saint-Malo, the Best Western Hotel Alexandra, Saint-Malo, France, offers a relaxing seaside escape. A lounge and terrace overlook the impressive ramparts and the vast stretch of golden sand that borders the Emerald Coast. The renovated, air-conditioned rooms provide a comfortable retreat, while the hotel's restaurant serves fresh seafood and regional specialties accompanied by panoramic sea views. From the beachfront setting, guests have easy access to a wide range of water sports and coastal activities. Saint-Malo is the famed corsair city, its granite ramparts enclosing a historic old town that overlooks the English Channel and some of Europe's highest tides. The medieval town of Dinan, the oyster beds of Cancale, and Mont-Saint-Michel are all within easy driving distance. Along the seafront, islands and fortifications appear and disappear with the changing tides, creating one of the coast's most memorable spectacles.
