Nice breakfast included for all members of the family.
Lounge and food Lots of noise
The Sonora Oaks Best Western offers a squeaky clean and well maintained facility at a very competitive price. The staff, to a person, were pleasant and eager to make us as comfortable as possible. A full and well prepared breakfast served at the motel restaurant is included in the room rate. The motel is centrally located in the gold country foot hills. I have no complaints.
The stay includes a choice of 4 free breakfasts at the next door restaurant. If none of the 4 choices suit you, you get a $5 discount off any of their menu items. Good food, and a nice alternative to the usual free "breakfast" most places offer., The motel needs a re-fresh -- It's a little "tired."
When are you going to ever get an elevator????? We've been staying here for 3 years, twice a year, for quasi-business/leisure and we're still waiting for an elevator. We like the size of the King suite and the staff are very nice. Also love the Pine Tree restaurant. Food is always good and love the coupons. Bathroom floor was never thoroughly cleaned while we were there. Saw the same dead bug on the floor all three days and the bathroom had a strange smell.
The free breakfast at the restaurant on the property. I was hoping they would have a washer and dryer but did not.
Very personable staff, clean facilities, restaurant right in parking lot so no looking for food at 8 pm when we arrived, dinner and free breakfast were both very good and staff at restaurant were all very pleasant as well.
Clean comfortable room Ultra small and low toilet is a show stopper Heater noise prevents getting a good nights sleep
Close to my family gathering destination.
Very nice from the outside but we won't go back there... It was very noisy; we heard the neighbours above and aside our room (located on the groundfloor); we could hardly sleep. We didn't appreciate our stay.
Very relaxing enviroment. Check-in reseptionist Willow was very helpfull. NA
Close to downtown shopping and food. Courteous staff. Window AC worked well but was noisy. Pretty quiet at night. Complimentary breakfast was poor......don't bother. Terrible mattress and the coil springs squeaked when you sat or laid on them. Towel/robe hook and mount fell completely off the bathroom door. Guess you get what you pay for.
Lovely big rooms that were very comfortable. I liked the building too , it was quite imposing Noise from the road, but we were at the end of the block.
The desk staff went out of their way to accommodate my mother
i LIKED THE COMFORT OF THE BEDDING / AMPLE PILLOWS, COULDN'T BEAT THE LOCATION, WE COULD WALK TO OUR DESTINATION! THE PARKING LOT NOISE WAS A BIT TOO MUCH SO EARLY IN THE MORNING WITH WORKERS WARMING UP THEIR DIESEL ENGINES THEN HAVING TO TALK OVER THE NOISE OUTSIDE OF THE TRUCK, BUT I THINK THEY WERE GUESTS OF THE INN?!
WiFi VERY slow. Almost unusable.
Semi dirty. Very out dated. Breakfast could have been better.
i think it was good location easy to find good over all.
Great location in center of town, clean not fancy. Refer and micro a plus. A/C shut off in middle of warm night. Bed leg was broken and nearly broke toe on it.
It was easy to find, has a nice heated pool, has a typical motel breakfast, liked the town and the folks in town, very quiet, easy access to freeway, nice clean rooms, we got the two bed room which was very comfortable, bed was comfortable nothing to complain about... Staff are all very friendly, give you directions about nearby places to eat, very nice overall nothing much to complain about... some usual things carpets are not spic and span..
Staff was helpful. Breakfast adequate. Room: comfortable. We returned to the Inn for the evening, only to discover there were NO parking spaces, let along any near our room. There were three trucks with trailers parked lengthwise, each occupying at least 5 parking spaces. We explained our situation to the desk person. At first she was at a loss as to what to do. Then she directed us to a spot near big storage-type containers...not a place I would have chosen. One other guest had to do the same thing. I was not happy.
The rooms were comfortable. No. other than there was not enough counter space in the bathroom.
It is bad and could not wait for night to be over and never have free breakfast
Easy to find My bf dropped something in the hallway while going to the office to check out and the housekeeper called the office asking if we dropped something without telling any specifics and Coke to find out my boyfriends did indeed drop his new body wash/shampoo
Motel was good. Restaurant next door is perfect to get the day started.
They were making a lot of noise early in the morning, cleaning rooms, vacuuming etc.
convenient, close to our water activities, clean, just exactly what we needed for the night.
Quite The restaurant was not attached
The hotel has a small cafe next door - The Garden Cafe and their breakfast was terrific. Very nice, helpful staff, friendly atmosphere and the food was terrific. The $5 voucher from the Hotel went a long way! The bathroom could have been a little cleaner - the floor needed a more thorough cleaning and there was a dirty hand towel left behind. Not huge but noticed.
Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The $5 voucher for breakfast next door was great. I had the free, made to order one and hubby got $5 off what he ordered. Nothing

The staff was great! They were very friendly and provided super info for our excursions. Nothing I can think of.
Our room & bathroom was VERY clean, neat & smelled fresh.Location was great.Highly recommend Garden Cafe for breakfast next door & Standard Pour restaurant/brewery up the road.Close shopping center nearby including Starbucks. Everyone nice in this town! No complaints from us. Parking lot area is a little small if you have an extra large vehicle or are towing anything.
The location is great, close to Jamestown, Sonora and the California caves. The hotel is super old, the toilet didn't work and the lady gave me the plunger because the maintenance guy had gone home and either I do it or wait until 8AM the next day. Showering is terrible, the water either comes out ICE COLD or SCORCH BURN HOT.
Elevator Did Not Work
Great location Pigeons are a problem around the windows
Interesting history, frinedly helpful staff. Wifi signal very weak in the room. Noise travels easily (outdoors / other rooms).
The room was large & clean & remodeled? We will stay there again! Nothing

Location and staff Breakfast, the rooms need a deep remodeling
The historic feel to it.
Beautiful vintage charmer. Very well maintained, spic and span. Tiny bit drafty in the corridors but room was cozy under the big blankets. Gorgeous old town.
Close to restaurants, nice pool, friendly staff Our first room overlooked the highway and was noisey
Very cute, nicely decorated, very clean. There were no towles in our room. Otherwise, very nice.
The room was small but cozy
Right in Sonora. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast included, cereal, breads, waffles, scrambled eggs casserole Ina quaint dining room with outdoor seating available.
A gold rush era building nicely adapted to modern use. For example the bathroom seems nicely modernized/updated but retains the quirky look of a bath added to a building that did not feature indoor plumbing when built. I would bet that no two rooms are configured alike. The breakfast room was originally a small bar and the decor is fascinating. The breakfast menu includes egg bake and coffee cake which gives it a B&B feel. My favorite part is sitting on the veranda in front of my room in a rocking chair looking out at the town and the opposing hillside. Very relaxing. Furnished with antiques but with a comfortable bed.
