San Marino Suites are part of Calm collection hotel chain in Fira and it was an easy choice when travelling to charming Santorini. All was beyond our expectations, the hotel is very modern and stylish and the owners, a charming family, very helpful and charming. Son George Katsipis was even so kind when we wanted to rent a car, to offer to drive us around the island in his jeep. It was an incredible day, we saw the highlights of Santorini, the lighthouse, a monestary on highest mountain and then amazing Oia, where its totally as walking inside a beautiful painting. The swimming pool area is fantastic with a great view down to the ocean, rooms are spacious and so tastefully decorated, as an architect I really admired many solutions. Breakfast was great in the pool area restaurant and all staff smiling and friendly. I sure will visit Santorini again and stay at this amazing hotel in the future. Thanks dear family.

The hotel is a ten minute walk away from the town center, which was a great escape from the busy hustle and bustle. (It can feel like a long walk, if the weather is hot because of the uphill climb.) The staff was lovely and extremely helpful. The room was cozy, but overall it exceeded my expectations. Fast, reliable WiFi. Spacious bathroom. Delicious breakfast.
The bed was comfortable but the sheets made a loud crinkly sound (kind of like plastic). It made sleep a little disruptive because I could hear whenever my boyfriend rolled over in bed.

We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was a good siZe. Location was convenient, only a few minutes to walk into town and staff was friendly and helpful.
