The hotel was in bad state of repair. old fashioned dirty . The bathroom needed a good bleaching.
The shower was not working properly
the view from our room was good and tidyness was good
that it says on menu bar snaks 4_8 but you wont serve them till reasterant meals are done which is 6_8 confuseing ;
Friendly welcoming staff. Entertainment for the coach party on Monday was good. The pool is small but fine for two children to splash about in. The gardens are nice,as are the public areas of the hotel. Breakfast was variable but good on the whole. Good location for the beach.
Family Room 19 is in desperate need of modernisation. The curtain rail is about to fall off, the toliet rocks about and the floorboards creak. It also does not have a sea view and there's a tiny flatscreen with few channels. The bathroom is big but needs modernisation. No restaurant at the weekend, although they will make a meal if the chef is working.
The view from our rooms was beautiful and it was newly refurbished. Also the blonde waitress was very polite
Dinning area and function room is in need of refurbishment but still clean and tidy. We could see that the hotel was having some of the rooms refurbished
room comfort,also a great view of the bay, very helpful and friendly staff
reception staff were helpfull.
Very old and in need of renovation. Family room was very poorly maintained and well over priced.
location
the standard of the room was very poor
locality of hotel was very good and view from balcony was good
breakfast was awful and the timing of it was stupid, parking was awful, fag ends on the balcony, windows didnt open, tv only got channel 2 and 4, bedroom over the receiption, so as the hotel locks up at 11.00 we aere woken by the door bell at 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, with people coming in from the pubs and clubs - how wonderful!
Friendly and helpful staff
Breakfast was between 8:30 and 9:45 and really was sub standard. The "pre cooked/kept warm" breakfast and the utterly tasteless coffee left a lot to be desired
Had an ensuite bathroom at a great price.
The unhelpful attitude of the Assitant Manager& miniature black & white TV with 4 chanels.
