Cons (-) The building is old and not well kept. The furniture is dated with numerous flaws. The rooms need to be renovated. The grout in the bathroom is dingy. Staff did what they could to make the stay comfortable, but it is an old hotel.

Pros (+) This Embassy Suites hotel has a great DC location. We have stayed here three separate times, stopping here on our DC trips. It is easy to walk from here to many of the central DC sites you want to see. It has a good family feel with a family cocktail hour that my kids love to participate in. Cons (-) The hotel rooms are worn down. The bathrooms are fifteen years past needing updating. The pool is too small, over chlorinated, and depressing. The cocktail hour is chaotic, understaffed and the snacks can not keep up with the crowd. (I get that it is free, but you have to keep up or just not offer it).
