The Plaza Hotel is situated in a grand, imposing building right in the heart of the city centre. As one of the best hotels in Doha, its regal splendour is evident inside and out, with Parisian-inspired interiors featuring sparkling chandeliers, soft velvets, draping curtains, and vibrant splashes of colour.

The outdoor infinity pool is a real highlight, overlooking the city and boasting an open deck with a bar – my favourite spot for watching the sunset with a refreshing drink in hand.

Decidedly urban, it still manages to remind guests of its Qatari heritage, with off-white neutrals, Arabic geometric patterns, and textured linens. Located in the heart of the Msheireb Downtown area, it overlooks the Middle East’s largest covered square with a retractable roof.

The hotel has over 200 rooms, suites, and apartments, each designed by the world-renowned David Collins Studio to blend subtle elements of Doha’s heritage into a contemporary space. This is one of the best hotels in Doha for travellers looking to relax in style after exploring the city.

Located in the Lusail district, the hotel is Qatar’s first suite-only property, with 132 suites featuring curved ceilings, beautiful archways, touches of gold, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering sea and city views.
