Pros: we stayed here for our wedding night and staff upgraded us to the honeymoon suite free of charge and we had breakfast delivered to the room! This really made our wedding day thank you so much to the staff at the Sunderland Marriott.

Cons: Breakfast food alittle under cooked. Perhaps there should be medium and well cocked. I prefer medium rare cooked steak but the cooked breakfast was too rare for me.

Pros: The rooms were really comfortable, with everything you need. The staff were very courteous,approachable,helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. We had a really relaxed stay.
Cons: The only one thing I would say is that I would really have loved bath robes.

Cons: Housekeeping failed to service room on second day and had to be called back to do this. Sunday morning breakfast service very poor - could not cope with demand

Pros: It's location was good for us as we were going to the sage.we got the room we paid for as I always seem to get different,nice river view ,comfortable bed and tea station well stocked.we got parked fine which I was pleased about.staff were helpful and pleasant..
Cons: Overall it was good value.a bit dark in decor but was as advertised maybe needs a splash of colour to lift it and brighten it up.a bit thin on staff in breakfast area so they were pushed to get tables cleared and wiped down.window inside and out needed a good clean.we parked ok but maybe when really busy this could be a problem.

Pros: The staff were excellent, went above and beyond every chance they got. The location was at the Quayside Millenium Bridge, which put us right in the middle of where we wanted to be for a good price!
Cons: The room decorations were a bit tired, couldn't cool the room off very well, no fan facility for bringing air into the room.

Cons: Worn out, thin mattress with sagging middle, so kept rolling into middle of the bed. 1 thin pillow and duvet - used my puffa jacket as a pillow. Wooden laminate flooring is functional, but noisy and not comfortable for a bedroom. £5 car parking charge per night, where amount is not mentionned on website.

Pros: All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the night porter made returning to our room in the evening a much simpler procedure. The breakfast was good.
Cons: None of the lights above the mirrors in our room worked nor were there handles on all our cupboard doors. There were some very strange noises at night. ( we think it must have been the heating system!!)
