Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location, and an easy walk to main sites in Stone Town. Mollel at reception was very helpful in booking two nice excursions for me on a very short notice. Yousif Kabir at reception is also very nice and kind. Rabia, Amina at reception and another lady that I cannot recall her name unfortunately. The hotel terrace overlooking the Indian ocean is very nice. I could spend hours just sitting there. Restaurants are very good with excellent quality and taste of food. Excellent service too. Housekeeping is excellent too and very kind and helpful. If I visit Stone Town again, very likely I will stay at the same hotel.
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Good 6.3
Pros: Massage
Cons: Incompetence in planning a birthday
Good 7.9
Pros: Beautiful period rooms with great views to the sea. Hotel from a bygone era that maintains its charm and quality without modernizing too much. Nice outdoor patio area and pool. Great location.
Cons: Lack of late check out beyond 10am although bag storage provided for the meantime. Breakfast was very limited and poor quality for the price of the stay and the elegant restaurant surroundings. Expensive for the services provided although a treat for a short stay.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The Serena is the original 5 star hotel in Stone Town, sitting in a great central location with a beautiful sea view. The staff are what makes this hotel other than the olde world colonial feel. Everyone greets you with a smile and remembers which room your belong. Nothing is too much problem.
Cons: The beds are rock solid and from the look of the mattresses haven’t been updated in a long time.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I loved the hotel but I do think that all the Serena and all the higher ranking hotels in Stonetown charge far too much money in general. It’s a beautiful hotel and the staff are wonderful but I’d say £900 or thereabouts for 3 nights is too much. Those are big city prices
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent service. Spa services were terrific, especially Susan. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and happy. Ali was a great resource and support.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Stunning beachfront location, very well-run small hotel with only a half dozen rooms. Friendly staff. Good food at the hotel, usually a good deal to have their full-course dinner, since the area around does not offer many options. Perfect for those seeking peace and quiet.

Pros: Well places And pleasant
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Lovely clean and beautiful large suite.
Cons: I could not charge my iPhone with any USB port in my big and expensive suite ... not good I wait some gift or decorations for our anniversary and they promised by mail but they did nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Magnificent hotel staff and facilities are exceptional
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location staff facilities
Cons: Price is too high
Good 6.7
Pros: The location is very nice and the people are very nice.
Cons: The reception is not organized, we asked for an airport pick up a couple of days before arrival and gave them all the details through phone because no one answered our email , i called to confirm the pick up on the day of the arrival and apparently they never booked anything but they found a car and sent it to us on time. The second time , i gave them personally the information for a second airport pick up and when i called the day of the pick up to confirm, they said they didnt book anything AND they hv no car available for pick up !!! The beach gets really noisy at night . For this price i would rather go to Melia Hotel for better service and beach !
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Terrific hotel with wonderful pool, views, right on the beach, good food selection and quality, superb staff. A bit pricey for being right in stone town (and therefore not on the nicest beach), but a great place to stay for those who don't have time to get out to the further parts of the island

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lovely pleasant staff. Delicious breakfast in a spectacular rooftop location
Cons: No tea making facilities.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I arranged with the hotel to be picked up from the airport, as it was a night arrival. I'm glad I did as the driver also walked me to the front door; not sure I would have found it on my own. The room was lovely, nice big bed, air-conditioning, drawers/hangers for clothes. There is also a room safe and drinking water freely available. The bed is placed in the middle of the room, so it is abit narrow, e.g. one person width, and the same for the bathroom. The shower was good; plenty of hot water and a decent flow. The loftroom for breakfast is bliss, though from the ground floor there are four flights of stairs to climb. The breakfast is really good; fresh and a good selection. The location seemed a bit daunting at first, however, it is really is easy to get to the Old Fort, Forodhani Night Food Market. Also, the locals are really happy to either direct you or personally show you how to get to places.
Cons: I had two things I did not like. First, I had selected to look at hotels that did no pre-payment and Zanzibar Coffee House came up. Though there was no initial payment when booking, the payment was taking from my card within two/three weeks of my booking date (which was September 2019), but my arrival date was January 2020. There was free cancellation also up to my arrival date, however, I was not expecting the money to be taken until two/three weeks BEFORE my ARRIVAL date. The second issue was that the hotel did not inform me of the cost of the pick-up (US $15) at the time of booking.

Pros: Friendly staff in a beautiful and charming location.

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: It's so close to the beach and pherodani
Cons: Was not given the room that I had booked and paid for.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Superb breakfast buffet. Swimming pool is a little quiet paradise
Cons: Really nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, easy going and relaxed environment
Cons: Nothing tbh
Good 7.9
Pros: Very close to ferry terminal two minute walk - right in stone town - large quiet rooms at side / back with good air conditioning and ceiling fans - very good coked breakfast included
Cons: Nil
Excellent 8.0
Pros: we liked the room we had the presidential room and executive room and it was amazing. breakfast was good they had choice and it was fresh food. location amazing windy when its hot and food market around the corner every night. Bathroom is amazing
Cons: No Lift in hotel so 2 floor without especially when you had a long day or you forget something in the room its very annoying. otherwise we loved the hotel
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautifully renovated house, directly at the seafront, friendly staff, good breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, omelettes etc.
Cons: Staff in breakfast room could be more attentive and efficient. Everyday something was missing and we had to ask for it. Could have used a desk in our room.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The final room we had was good but a lot of maintenance nedded. The bath tube doesn t work, the rain comes directly inside the room by the windows, ac had no remote control until we went downstairs to ask, no pressure for shower and impossible to get the right temperature.
Cons: We took a long time to choose a room that suit us and finnaly book it wrongly. When we saw that, some days before arrival, we ve changed the number of people from 4 to 2. When we arrived at Mizingani they gave us the worst room ever (it s not even in booking) and...for the same price. Is was necessary to complaint so we could have a decent room. Since we are paying the same, they Don t really have the right to change us to another room...they could t handle the situation so the idea we have is that the hotel is too big and just wants to make money. They Don t really care about the individual.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great location. Very friendly staff. I loved the traditional artwork and decorations
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The breakfast is nice and includes good pancakes. The pool is a great enjoyment.
Cons: There was some noise in the morning from outside costing some sleep.

Good 7.9
Pros: Very well placed and clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Pleasant staf
Cons: Little bit tired and area around it looks a bit dingy but it is close to beach and Old Town
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The Location of this Place is really good to explore stonetown. Also Mr. Sebastian was great! He is so friendly and helpful- again thank you very much!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Central location, proximity to beach and centre, staff welcoming and friendly
Cons: Hotel is tired, some fixtures are old and worn, food is average at best but you would be better visiting external local providers for food.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel is not on a main road but it is easy to find. It was easy to walk around stone town. The rooms were clean and breakfast was ok.
Cons: I found the room small with a big bed so not much room for moving around. Breakfast was meant to start at seven but was a little late.
Mediocre 2.8
Cons: We had early check-out and they said we can get a small breakfast in the morning, but the guy from the reception didn't know anything. There were holes in the towells. The linen and towels were not perfectly white.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good location central Stone Town, clean, great staff, near a nice little park to sit in, quiet.
Cons: Shower sprays all over the room and floods it. Staff said fixed but was the same. They just need a new shower head because it is leaking badly. Wifi weak, devices would not charge or slow in room, but would charge quickly in front lounge. High beds or very low beds not suitable for older couples.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff are good. Clean
Cons: Small rooms. Hard to find. Away from road
Good 6.0
Pros: Location.
Cons: Towels were old.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Amazing breakfast especially the fruit cuts
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The building and its furniture are beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly. Nice room, good aircondition, nice bathroom. Great view of the town from the roof top. Very good central location. Arranged for us a good tour guide.
Cons: Quite hot eating on the roof top
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The hotel is very “zanzibar” style, it is very beautiful. Breakfast is good.
Cons: It does not have an elevator so that may be an issue if you carry big bags.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff Customer Service is on point!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Was ok hotel, a bit overpriced for what you get. Breakfast could be more generous.
Cons: Charging extra for New years night is understandable however also something extra could be added to the service.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hotel is situated in an old house. There was air conditioning in the room and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. It strikes me that the room is very tall - ceiling height is maybe 5 m or more. The location is good as long as you have a map that guides you. Otherwise you are easily lost. The climate in the room is perfect, best of all other hotels we experienced in Tanzania.
Cons: The mosquito net over the bed was torn in some places. We didn't really need it, so it's no problem. It may make sense to install fans in the room and on the terrace on top of the house. Otherwise it is very humid, impossible to stay here for long.
Good 6.0
Pros: Great breakfast, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Staff were helpful.
Cons: Overpriced for a twin room with no view on the ground floor, the windows didn't open and the room was very dark. Expectations were higher.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel with really nice furniture and beds. Super close to all sights

Excellent 8.3
Pros: The style of the hotel is superb. And you have the beach just next to your balcony :)
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Nice little oasis before heading to Chumbe Island the next day
Cons: Room was a little misty and no outside chairs. Great bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Located at the historical place, beautiful garden with a vast variety of plants. Delicious breakfast, caring stuff. Amazing rooms, easy access to the private beach
Cons: Wouldn't do mani-pedi there again. Overpriced and really bad quality. Nail polish came off next day((
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The beach and staff were fantastic. It was an awesome spot to watch the sun set. The prices for the food and drinks were a little higher than expected but still reasonable. Dinning facilities were very well laid out.
Cons: The tiles that were used in my bathroom made it look a little dated. Need a floor mat to avoid dragging sand back into the room or maybe house slippers that could be used inside for the same reason
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Manager is very accommodant and staff so NICE... GO THERE
Okay 5.4
Pros: Breakfast is a good buffet with even freshly prepared eggs. restaurant is cosy and it's romantic on the terrace overlooking the ocean and have a sundowner! The hotel is facing west. Every morning beach and pool will be cleaned, lush garden with a lot of trees. Nice renovation of the ruins turned into spa and reception. Staff overall friendly. Rooms renovated nicely recently. Well working aircondition in the room.
Cons: Lunch and dinner menu ( same for both) sounds interesting but is not soo good. Chips, which come with almost everythg unless you order differently, much too oily, seafood basket not top for the price of 45000 Shilling (roughly 16 €), which is the costliest dish on the menu. (I ate far better and even cheaper in Dar.) There is no other restaurant nearby so you stuck in the hotel restaurant which is rather dark to eat and read the menu. To Stonetown you need a taxi in the evening. It would be nice to have a little shop near the reception with perhaps some books and souvenirs. Unfortunately no flyer or card of the hotel available, even shuttle bus times and restaurant hours you get handwritten from lovely!! receptionist. TV had 3 local channels what they promised to fix.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent breakfast buffet, to be enjoyed with a great view on the Indian Ocean. The same place is a bar and restaurant during the day. The food is nice and the staff very friendly.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: First the staff was amazing and so was the location. I liked being close to stone town and the airport but still having a secluded beach.
Cons: The bathrooms could use an update but rest of the room was great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The room was beautiful with ocean view balcony. Central location of the place made us visit all areas of the island

Pros: This is such a beautiful venue with a unique local flair, super friendly & accommodating staff and great food as well. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable & clean, everything you could ask for. As for Danielle, the new hotel manager, she is such a sweetheart and has quite the life story. Don’t even think about it, you’ve found the perfect place!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good boutique hotel with a spirit of Stone Town . I think it’s one of the best one ! for 1-2 nights staying . !Service is perfect , assistance with drivers ( we went for safari to Arusha) for both ways . I think it will be very interesting also for business trip travelers .
Cons: No disadvantages for 1 night staying . It’s my first 10 in booking.com just because it fully replied the purpose of our staying . Very unusual, fantastic . Good luck
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel was a wonderful gem nestled amongst the streets of stone town. Walking distance from the ferry we arrived early and could drop our bags and get information on the city from the really helpful staff. The room was beautifully furnished. Breakfast was plentiful with a wonderful addition of coffee and tea in brought to our room in the morning. We had a fabulous stay.
Cons: Nothing! We had a great stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location, friendly staff, perfect place to stay one or two nights in Stone Town

Pros: Location and majestical afro chic setting
Cons: What an amazing start to our journey in Zanzibar. Excellent service. Shabaan needs to be mentioned...he stood out as a staff member...so kind, helpful, professional. Beautiful stay over in Stone Town.. Shabaan is the reason I give this majestical spot a 5* rating. Thank you for making us feel so special.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room and facilities were beautiful and it was located in the heart of stone town so was very easy to walk wherever we wanted.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent. It is well kept and neat with attention to detail. Excellent breakfast. The pool was great to coolnodf in after a hot day wandering the little streets of Stonetown.
Cons: The matrass was a bit comfortable.

Pros: -Very friendly and helpful staff to assist us from checking in throughout our stay. -Breakfast comes with big several dishes we were happily fed. -lovely garden/yard for breakfast and for afternoon tea.

Pros: The place was really nice. The room was very clean, the staff was wonderful and the location was close enough to walk everywhere. Also, the breakfast was great!
Good 6.7
Pros: Location Rooftop breakfast Shakes and chips in cafe Some nice touches to the room deco
Cons: Staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming Price is expensive for quality Our room was on on 3rd floor A lot of street noise Shower had very little water pressure
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It is cozy and nice inside, good breakfast, very friendly and professional staff
Cons: First moment I was upset that the center of Stone town is far, but than I used to and really you can go by sea side for 15 min to everything
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The room was comfortable and a good size for me as a solo traveler. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and I was able to book several excursions through the reception desk. I also liked having the cafe available for meals, and the breakfast buffet upstairs.
Cons: The location was fine, but I would have liked to be slightly closer to the center of Stone Town.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Great breakfast!
Cons: If you’re looking for a good night of sleep avoid the front rooms, the traffic noise is very loud and goes until late in the night.
Okay 4.0
Pros: coffee shop
Cons: location..noise of traffic is heavy, loud despite good ratings balcony was shared narrow and facing unattractive wall room small.....in a different location it may have been ok so we moved
Excellent 9.0
Pros: When we didn't have a balcony, the helpful staff gave us a drying rack to use. Comfortable bed, quiet room and very good breakfast. Obliging and friendly staff. The room was a good space. This was our second stay and it was even better than the first time!
Cons: We missed the balcony that the booking said we had, but everything else was good.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The balcony was lovely and there was surprisingly little noise from the street. The rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable. It has a very quaint, cosy feel to it. Friendly staff, and a really nice breakfast.
Cons: The room was a little cramped and the air conditioner leaked all over our belongings. The toilet in the same room as the bee was a little awkward.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I went with a friend for her birthday and the hotel staff went out of their way to make it a memorable stay. We came into the room and it was fully decorated with balloons and a happy birthday written on the bed with flowers. They prepared a cake that we then surprised my friend with in the room. Other friends and staff came in signing Happy Birthday in english and Swahili :-)
Cons: Everything was just perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful historical hotel with unique guest rooms. Loved the architecture of the building and the details of the room. Added bonus of a rooftop bar/restaurant with a panoramic view of the town and even a jacuzzi up there. We were one of the few guests in the hotel since it's low season but all of the staff were still very accommodating.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was an interesting historic building centrally located. It was very clean, well staffed and managed. All of the staff including the very helpful Maria were most accommodating and actually made you feel truly welcome and sincere. They all went out of their way to please, educate and help us. A safe haven in a bustling city.
Cons: We were surprised that cars/ taxis could not drive right up to the hotel but if a place is well located in Old Stone City only bikes and motor bikes can make it thru the streets.
Good 7.1
Pros: - Unique style of the hotel - Roof top terrace overlooking the city - Friendly receptionist
Cons: - Bland and somewhat tasteless food at the restaurant, being on the spice island one would expect very tasty food. - bad WiFi connection - towels not rinsed properly and still full of soap - room without windows - service at the restaurant somewhat not very friendly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was delightful. Excellent location.
Good 7.0
Pros: Reception girls were great, very helpful and informative.
Cons: Breakfast was poor. Also service during the breakfast could be better.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is superb and it has a fantastic rooftop where you have your breakfast and where you can watch the sunset. The rooms are a god size and very comfortable.
Cons: The water pressure was a bit poor.

Pros: This hotel is one of my favourites. The breakfast is excellent and changes every morning. Staff go ABOVE AND BEYOND to help you! The rooms are also BEAUTIFUL. I was travelling with my mother and they did their best to look after her when she wasn't feeling well.
Cons: Nothing major to report - not a lot of natural light in our room, but you can open the blinds to the inside wall; as there are only a few rooms per floor you're still guaranteed your privacy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Much better than expected. Room was super clean, staff is super friendly and location is amazing. I really recommend it!
Good 7.9
Pros: Location amazing, within 5 minutes in heart of Stone Town. Authentic building style, comfortable rooms, open air bathroom
Cons: Breakfast was terrible ( included) to the point of eating out!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and nice.the fresh fruits every morning were also great!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely comfortable traditional hotel in the heart of the city. Interesting old furniture. Simple pool to relax. Large airy room with balcony overlooking the pool. Great views from the roof.
Cons: Breakfast was good and eaten by the pool.Otherwise not much food served, apart from tourist type snacks. This is fine because there are lots off local cafes and restaurants around.
Good 7.0
Pros: The rooms are clean and eco friendly
Cons: Room service is an issue and I did raise a concern of which the restaurant manager is aware
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The pool was a big plus and the moorish decor in lobby, around the pool and sitting areas was lovely, also wooden balconies overlooking pool. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Close to centre. Shower/bath area in bathroom also moorish style.
Cons: The room on the first floor was a bit noisy, close to the staircase and above the breakfast area, also not very well insulated from the rather noisy road.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: This is a very unique and beautiful hotel...They take care of a lot of little details. I believe it was a little pricey - but it was also during the holiday season. Some nickel and diing- too much for taxis and so forth - ut a kind and attentive staff.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Magical outdoor bath/shower. If you stay here, consider upgrading to this penthouse room.
Cons: In this part of Stonetown, uneven roads, unexpected scooter, and stairs are the norm.

Pros: Nice decor
Cons: It has a weird incense smell.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location in old town, near the sea. Nice breakfast, authentic building.
Cons: The smell in the room is not good and the mattress is too hard.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Spacious, well appointed rooms. Strong air conditioning, gorgeous beds. Helpful friendly staff. A completely excellent experience
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing else
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We only stayed for one night but we liked it. The restaurant was very good and we had fantastic service from Alex, the chef.
Good 6.3
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean room.
Cons: Room was poorly lit making it difficult to read.
Good 7.4
Pros: Big clean comfortable beds, spacious room, great wifi, fridge in the room, excellent tv reception with lots of channels
Cons: We didn't have hot water the first day. They fixed it the second, but the water pressure wasn't very good- I don't have thick hair and it took awhile to rinse the shampoo out... It's set back a ways from road so you need help with your bags an the food in the restaurant is limited and prices are high. Better breakfast at the Serena

Good 7.0
Pros: Location is isolated transport could be expensive but peaceful and calm place to stay with family
Cons: I was expecting a live music at dinner as I stayed there back in 2007 we had nice live music on weekend. Secondly I would suggest to have air freshener in the room as rooms smell Like Norton insect killer spray.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The gardens, the pool, the sea breeze and the spaciousness of the infrastructure and rooms.
Cons: Poorly trained staff who take far too much time to deliver on customer service.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The seafood
Cons: The rooms are very old, toilets over flow, manager does not take clients seriously and even charged me for swiping, there are no ice cubes, the drinks are hot
Okay 4.0
Pros: The reception Meal Live singing
Cons: Cleanliness, cleaner clean very late Waitress was mean i cant remember her name Most of workers treat white people special
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: We booked this hotel on our last night in Zanzibar as it was close to the airport and instead of travelling 1hr30min from where we were staying thought it was better to stay close as our flight was early in the morning. 1. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. We arrived and the first thing they told us was that we need to pay again for the room, they had mistakenly refunded booking.com. I refused to pay and told them to sort out their mess. 2. When we ordered food, the food we received was warmed up food that was not freshly cooked. You could even tell this food was in the fridge. The worst part is this was the most expensive food plates I had had in Zanzibar. Their food is overly priced, a drink cost 3,500 Tanzanian shilling. Anywhere else in Tanzania a drink costs max 2,000 Tanzanian shillings. 3. The pool was dirty and boy oh my the name is so deceiving. Be WARNED there is no usable beach here. There is a small piece of land behind the hotel which connects to the ocean and the water there is filthy. 4. There is no hot water, the furnishings are old. The whole hotel needs refurbishment. There are better hotels in and around the area for the same price.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Conveniently located near stone town and at the beach front
Cons: THERE WAS NO WATER IN THE SHOWERS when I repeatedly kept asking the staff they would always give the same answer...there’s someone coming!!! No one came. I was dependent on swimming and taking a French bath from the sink water. Thank God I was only here nights. If my stay was any longer I wouldn’t have dared. And the staff are ridiculously SLOW.. come on. Run a business or shut down already.
Good 7.0
Pros: The bartenders were very friendly (especially Lincoln), the pool was great, the room was very nice (although the shower didn't work). When the tide is out, you can walk around the beach area and explore, which is really nice. It's also a 5 minute walk from the main road (safe area..even at night), and a dala dala into Stone Town Center was only like 500 TZS, or a bit more for a boda.
Cons: Food was very so-so. The seafood was not very fresh compared to everywhere else I ate on the island. The menu was a bit pricy for the location as well. Paying bills at the end was not a great experience. The machine would not accept my MasterCard, despite it working in Town, at atms, in Jambiani and in Nungwi. This was very frustrating. They wanted me to spend money to go to town to an atm, when the problem was with their card reader.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful place, most staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable and nice rooms with aircon.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: Pool
Cons: I need to give my review & feedback . I have read reviews from May 2018 back. But it seems the management doesnt care. 1. The rooms are stuffy 2. Linen not maintained or changed 3. Beds are squeaky 4. Food is terrible, particularly buffet. It probably id traditional but doesnt appeal to various ethnic groups. A la carte is better but takes an hour to place an order. 5. Bar tender at the pool is very rude always 6. Hidden costs like infrastructure tax per person per night , only communicated on check out. 4% swipe charge... only communicated when you settle the bill 7. Plenty attitude from some staff, even if English is not their language but actions do speak louder than words. 8. The beach is dirty. Not cleaned up. Too much litter Am definetly not coming back again. Happy new year .

Good 7.9
Pros: Perfectly placed on the beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves is priceless. There is a deck where you can watch mesmerising sunsets.
Cons: The breakfast is a little lacking, but for the price, it is not bad.
Poor 1.0
Pros: The ocean view
Cons: The bed was bad. It kept making noise whenever I turn
Good 7.9
Pros: Nice place.
Cons: When I asked if they had rooms available they said they did but for $100 a night. I told him I could book online for $53. He told me to do so and I did...I guess the point is book online.
Good 6.0
Pros: The traditional/modern design is unmatched and so pleasant.
Cons: The room wasn't very clean and the shower head was rost infested
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Their beach is muddy. So, I would not recommend it to any visitor. Facility is neglected, unmaintained and run down.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The infrastructure was stunning.
Cons: The room was dirty. It seemed as if we were placed in a room that hadn’t been opened in a long time. We called reception to come and clean while we went for dinner but we came back to a dirty room. Bathroom hair dryer was broken. The mini fridge was old and smelly. Very displeased with the beds. EXTREMELY uncomfortable mattress. The bed was VERY squeaky. You couldn’t toss without waking everyone from the loud squeak. I was disappointed because we could have gotten better for the price we paid.
Okay 5.0
Pros: I loved the staff. They were very friendly and honest. Reception, Restaurant and guard were excellent. The cook loved his job... we could tell from the detail he had in his cooking though we didn't meet him/her. We enjoyed the dinner and lunches there. The serenity within the hotel was awesome!
Cons: To stay in the room that I couldn't enjoy my shower (room 128) the shower was not working well. No face towel, poor quality toilet paper e.t.c Food - The Menu Lacked variety, especially indigenous foods like mahamri and coconut dishes. Breakfast options were limited.
