It was at the beach, front to the sea, clean, simple , only one complain: I am vegetarian or sea food eater, and was not so good the food. The bathroom was constantly wet and full of water in the floor. We habe being told nothing was possible to do about.
The staff were very friendly. Being on the beach was also very good. No
The patrons were wonderful. the situation ideal and the breakfast perfect Liked everything about it
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly trying to serve in the best way.The meals also were delicious, specially the breakfast-with fresh orange juice. The only missing thing was a fride inside the room but generally all the rest was quite satisfactory. The beach in a few stairs below was the best reward!
Breakfast was basic but good. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Reconstruction on the commonly used spaces. There was noone on the reception and you had to go to the little restaurant to ask for something. Not soundproof.
Owners and staff gave the best service and were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel is small and quaint and in a great location. Within walking distance of Aegina Town and some historic sites. We had a wonderful seaside view and was given a larger room since we were celebrating our anniversary. It was our first time to Greece and it gave us a wonderful impression. The hotel has a wonderful pool, bar and beautiful outdoor seating. The room had wonderful marble tiles in the bathroom and marvelous tile floors. The owners are family owned and we felt like we were part of the family. We were originally booked for 3 nights but extended our stay for 5 nights.
Nice freiendly staff, helpfull. Quiet and relaxing only 10-12 min from centrum. Nice, big rooms with view to the sea. Very nice breakfast. Some few dishes to be served for lunsj and easy dinner. No dinner meny at this time of the year. It is a pleasure to recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back here when visitin Aegina. No
Perhaps it was because of the time of year, early October, and its location out of town that contributed to the peace and quiet which was much appreciated. The view from our room was superb and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The shower cubicle was too small, elbows banged on each panel, and there was no fitting on the wall for the shower head; one had to improvise
Breathtaking view from our balcony over the pool and of the sunset over the Saronic Gulf. No elevator...not a big problem...they were very helpful with luggage.
view and area two weddings held two nights in row during stay awake too late with loud music
Pretty good location and rokms were clean and well-maintained. Would have been good to have a mini-bar filled at least with water. Breakfast was adequate but no more.
friendly staff plus swimming pool buffet breakfast could perhaps been more varied
The view of the sea, the beautiful grounds, the excellent location, the great service, the nice room with balcony, the great breakfast, and the friendly staff were all outstanding. No complaints. Everything was great.
Very nice and clean hotel with nice view in a wonderful island
The location is a good walk outside the centre of Aegina (although we managed it comfortably with cases). The walk in to the town is worth while as it is fantastic and the taxi back at night was only 5 euro. great view of the ancient ruins and rugged coastline. The pool was excellent as were the standard of the rooms.
View from the hotel. Location area. No
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is nice situated. There was sometimes no hot water in the evening and - because we had the rom to the street-the room was very noisy at night.
I stayed at a quiet period, and the staff genuinely tried to make my stay pleasurable - nothing was too much trouble. It pays to learn a little Greek in advance.
Booking was easy Quality was not as expected
Administrator of the Isidora Hotel is considerate to the visitors. A kitchen in room is very small and not fully complicated for using this room as a standard studio.
staff unobtrusive but friendly and always willing to help. cleaning staff in room every day to remove rubbish and wash floors and change sheets every other day. for a 2 star hotel it was exceptionally clean and great value for money. ive stayed in 4 star hotels less clean ! absolutely no complaints.
Everything you need for the little money. Owners are very nice persons
Friendly staff, convenient location and clean accommodation. Access to the internet was useful. The breakfast lacked substance and variety but otherwise no complaints.
only location as it was near the beach. everything ,
easy to find, clean and tidy
friendly manager...closer to beach than i thought it was water pressure in shower not very strong
Close to town and beach, good rooftop bar and swimming area with views over the town. Breakfast a bit of a scrum and could have been laid out better
Room and bathroom excellent, nice staff. Old building, only some rooms very well renovated, room was super but with a view on parking area, extremely hot in room (air condition 24 hrs needed), breakfast very poor, pool much smaller than it seems on hotel-pix.
I liked very much the warm hospitality of Yiannis and Maria who went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even provided us with books to read while there since we forgot ours....
the owner - the nearness of the beach -
Location, so close to the beach and only a quick bus ride to the village of Aghia Marina.
Johnny, was wonderful. I would stay there again. He's a great host..much better that the holiday inn at Athens. wc is small but it works , so no problem really..
Due to the position of the hotel, you could hear the sound of the sea in the night- which I found very relaxing
the hotel has a good situation in the center of the station the personnel is very nice rooms and bathrooms are really too small
Hotel staff - Very kind and care, old rooms.
The service was perfect. A very good value for money. I highly recomend this hotel.
Friendly stuff. very clean. good location close to the beach, shopping and resturnts. best value for the money. Maria and John and always happy to help and do the best for their guests.
quiet location (although may be noisier at high season); the swimming pool would have been wonderful, but it wasn't open for us due to debris/mudslide caused by heavy storms 48 hours before we arrived - however, Alexandra did arrange for us to use a nearby pool but this took some time and her pool would have been much better with a lovely view and poolside bar!
the seasight, the people, and the bilance de inrichting was pover en kaal
Clean, comfortable, roomy, nice pool, wonderful hosts Alexandra and Magda, who walk the extra mile for the customer satisfaction. Wifi not reached from the room, only from pool area.
Some small details which I mentioned to Alxandra Yes only one thing, that is I wouldn`t like to leave, cause every thing was well speciality the warm hospitality. Thanks a lot.
Nice room Reception and serve breakfast. clean the pool
Staff were welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to deal with any problems. This hotel is not a five minute walk from the ferry - more like 15 minutes, and uphill. It is still under construction/renovation and has some teething problems - shower not draining properly; no hair dryer in the room, and a temperamental air conditioner. I have no doubt all these minor snags will be fixed.
We were delighted both with the helpfulness of Alexandra's reception & with the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. Our room was very spacious and had a clear view to the sea and the small port; there were supermarkets, bakeries & tavernas all within a ten-minute walk. A short walk uphill brings you to the temple of Aphaia. A direct ferry service to Peiraeus was already running, mostly twice a day. In April, Aghia Marina was very quiet, which suited us perfectly!
The apartments are modern and well equipped, double glazed doors make it very quiet, a/c, nice balconies with bay views. The lovely Alexandra was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. It's a short walk to crystal clear deep swimming water off rocks, or to the gently shelving sand beach at the other end of the bay. There are plenty of nearby tavernas with great Greek food and cheap house wine and a nice 'English' pub for a change. There are a couple of bakeries and supermarkets for self-catering essentials. The pool was plastic sheet lined rather than tiled, and the water was slightly cloudy, but this is a very minor criticism.
The staff was extremely kind and available: strong customer orientation
Very nice appartements, very clean and the vue towards the see was breathtaking. The staff was exellent, very kind and serviceminded, they really, in an truthful way, wanted us to have a pleasent and good vacation. Nice poolarea, not so big but when we where there, end of june- beginning of july it was not so crowded so we enjoined it very much. The beach was lovley, very nice and good for small children. The only thing we can think of, and its not a big deal, is that they didn't have any showercurtins in the shower wich made the bathroomfloor unnecsessery wet.
Situation of hotel on a rock face right above a sandy beach - excellent views, and yet walking distance from restaurants and main street. Friendly owners made you feel at home. Providing breakfast as part of the package would make the guests' stay a little easier, but not a major concern.
The area surrounding the hotel and it was ideally situated with good views and near the beach. the staff were unprofessional and were insulted if we did not stop to have a conversation with them every time we walked past.
The staff was very friendly. It actually felt like home but with an excellent view of the sea and the nearby mountains. The location is just majestic. I would stay there the whole summer !
Good positioning and view [ only rooms facing the beach ] friendly staf, fair room but worn off equipment I.E. matrices...
Room was very basic I booked for 3 nights but when arrived could only stay for 2 nights and was still charged for 3 when I returned to the resort the next day I found much better accomadation cheaper
the friendly service
i like at the Liberty II that is at 50 m from the beach in the best location from Agina; the staff is OK, clean and very friendly. The breakfast is not so rich.
It is indeed a pet friendly hotel. The balcony with the stunning view raised the standard considerably. The bathroom was incredibly small for a double room. Difficult to find the reception staffed. The welcome drink and discount voucher mentioned in the booking confirmation were a surprise to the hotel - they claimed they never added that.
very close to beach, good situaiton old equipments
The location was excellent with great sea views. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Definately recommended
Very economical, close to the beach ( 5 minutes walk), bars and restaurants. Very quiet at night.
Miss Senia is very good, willing to help you. The location is relatively close to the main road and the beach but the road to return is uphill. We fortunately rent a bike. kitchen, bathroom complete renovation
The hotel was quiet and conveniently close to the main town for shopping and eating out. The pool was too small and not for children as it was very deep.
The cost was very reasonable, and we didn't want for anything. Both beach, bars and the ancient site were all within a short walk. Last evening was spent watching the sun set behind the Temple of Afea, which is 20mins walk away, fantastic!
nice friendly owners. lovely clean apartment.
It was a very nice studio (self-catering with two cooking plates) with a swimming pool, lovely people, quiet environment, close to the beach, room was cleaned every day the shower was not optimal, no decent curtains
It was close to the beach (3 minutes walk),and to the main street. No car parking available.
Hotel is situated up-hill from the beach. Not recommended for elderly or persons with walking dissabillitis.
It was very much a family atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and helpful, a home away from home, without being in your face. It is incrediably good value for money for a completely DIY holiday. The beach and tavernas are only 5 minutes walk away, yet you are in a quite road that you can relax in. The famous temple of Afea is a climb up the hill nearly straight behind you. This was our second stay, and I'd definately use it again if I'm returning to Aegina, the place is really good for relaxation.
Extremly nice staff.Arrived to the city in a heavy rain didnt know where the hotel was so called it and the owner went to meet us which was very nice of him-walking in the rain searching for the hotel is not nice or easy .As it was not busy in the hotel as it was off seazon the owners showed us few rooms to choose from.we felt very welcomed.they recomended places to eat, best shop to go to even a car hire.veeery helpful. Breakfast was very good but it was the same every day. After 3 days got bit boring..
very nice sunrise and seaview from the bacony and roof top . Quiet and relaxing. Very nice and caring host . excellent homemade breakfast with great variety 1. run out of hot water for shower after used up ( solar energy heater) ~9pm 2. need to drive there from mainport in Nov ( out of season) . No exact information on website how to get there and time.
Thank you Anastasia for your hospitality. None that I can think of.
Friendly staff, convenient and good location, excellent view from top floors, good price
Pleasant hotel, very good value for its price, working room with balcony, TV, Refrigerator, a/c, panoramic view to the sea, very near harbour & beach. Very satisfy!
Owner and his wife were really nice
it was close to the beach and the room had a nice balcony
I recommend this hotel for all because of the nice and very helpfull staff, location which is really excellent (only about 40m from the sea, you just go down from the small hill) and it is just near the center of the town but in the quite street. Really excellent value of money!!!!!!
Nice sandy beach nearby, hotel staff very friendly
We just came back from our 10 days vacation on Aegina Island with our 1 year old son. Aegina is a wonderfull place and Agia Marina is the the most beautiful part of the island with the best beach. We had a lovely staying at Liberty 1 Hotel, clean room, comfortable new bed, big balcony, good breakfast and lovely hosts, Costas and Anastasia. We would like to go back and stay in the same hotel. Our initial plan was to spend some days in Athens, but the hotel we reserved there was dirty and expensive and the streets terribly unsafe, so we decided to go earlier on the island and it was the best decision.
To begin with, the service of the hotel was excellent. The manager was really hospitable, and i felt like being home. The room was large, and the view of the forest and the sea was incredible. In addition, the room was very clean, as long as the whole hotel. I will definitely visit the Delfini Hotel again, as i enjoyed my holiday very much, and i relaxed myself.
Decent conditions (good A/C, fridge, TV), very clean, room has around 15 sqm and bathroom around 4-5 sqm. Small nice terrase, surrounded by pines trees to take breakfast or a drink in the evening. Angelica (owner) is extremely friendly. Small hotel, in a quiet area, away from street. Sandy beach and clear waters a few hundreds meters away.
The personnel was impeccable! Very courteous and helpful indeed !
Very kind and helpful owners, clean room, 5 min walking to the beach. They need to put a sign in the main street so people can find it more easily (although if you ask everybody knows where it is)
Big room, quite location, very friendly, supportive hostess. Very difficult to find (better call hostess for help), the location shown in booking.com map is wrong.
the hospitality, and the people of the staff
The manager is very kind and helpful
The rooms are clean and the breakfast is enough. the hotel is near the sea, 5 minutes by foot. it has tv and air condition.
The very frindly land lady
The hotel is beautifully located just outside the main resort, about 5 mins. The walk in to the resort is lovely, follows the coast line and the beach. Our room had a fantastic sea view and you can walk a few meters along the stone coast line and straight in to the clear blue sea.Rooms are clean and tidy and although drinks etc are slightly higher priced this is a high standard of hotel.
it was very close to the sea Seems quite old, needs to be renovated
could easily walk down to the ocean - good deck chairs and shade right next to water - meals served on deck. had problems using our cards to pay our bill - we used our cards all over Europe with no other issues - had to go doen into the marina and get cash - not happy about that.
Very good hotey. Staff very friendly and helpful The hotel had no record of my on line booking.Fortunatly they had a room
nice environment, friendly personel, excelent location and easy access from Athens Parking accesibility
