Pros: Pay the extra money for a savannah room! There was nothing better than coming home after a long day at the parks seeing giraffes, zebras, gazelles and many other African animals right off your balcony. I've never been that close to exotic animals and I didn't want to ever leave my room! Plus, the service here was impeccable. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Pros: The camping feel with the cabin. The out of the wag location aaay form the hustle of other Disney guests and most of all the golf cart we rented !! I loved the full kitchen to cook
Pros: The atmosphere of the cabins and the grounds is amazing. This was one of the best family vacations we have had. The cabins as well as the grounds were very clean. Every staff member we encountered was very helpful and super friendly.
Pros: different atmosphere and a nice change in some ways. My family liked the pool and loved the Mickey Mouse BBQ. Fun to take the boat to the magic kingdom. They did let one of our family member take the bus to the airport when he left as soon as he came.
Cons: golf carts expensive and all sold out when we arrived. You do need them to get around, although the bus can be taken too - but very crowded and you can wait quite a while for one. The beds were very uncomfortable. Computer problem at checkin.
Pros: It´s a beautiful place in the middle of teh forest
Cons: We taken an additional night and they forget set up the keys. So when we return at 2am from magic kingdom we could not open the door, so my wife had to stay in the door with my 2 little kids, it was freezing (2º or less), and I had to walk 20min to solve
Wonderful place to go camping in style.
Pros: The cabins and the surrounding nature.
Cons: It took me 30 minutes to check in.
Pros: Environment, beautiful trees and animals(camping atmosphere) but with the comfort of home. We had a wonderful visit and would do it again.
Log cabins we very nice, Disney advertises that they sleep 6 but unless 3 are small children I would say only 4 comfortably. Very nice accomodation.
Pros: Location very nice and enjoyed Fort Wilderness and the free things to do, night time Disney movie, Chip and Dale sing-a-long and marshmallow roast, and the very nice swimming pools. Our granddaughter liked the pony ride and when older she will like the t
Cons: You really need to rent a golf cart, which we did, to get around the grounds at your own pace other wise you are at the mecy of the bus system.
It was clean, plenty of transportation available, lots of activities for kids.
Pros: Family atmosphere
Cons: playgrounds were muddy with standing water after the rain

Pros: Being able to use my points which cost dearly.
Cons: This isn't my home resort. I can never get in but no one WANTS to use their points here. It's just that it's usually all that's left if you want a spontaneous vacation.
BTW my home resort is the Boardwalk and since I purchased in 1997, I've only been able to stay there a handful of times. :-(
Pros: As always Disney nails it. Fantastic facilities and the benefit of on property transportation. A fantastic place
Cons: When booking through a third party names of all travelers don't always make it to the reservation nor does a my Disney account get linked. This is a problem because Magic Bands can be preordered custom and fastpass+ reservations can be made when all necessary information gets to Disney before arrival.
From its colorful Victorian architecture to its historic horse-racing details, this lakeside community a mile from Epcot captures the heyday of upstate New York country retreats of the 1800s.
Pros: Very cozy, intimate. The rooms have balconies. Very clean. Close proximity to the parks. I loved the Dance Hall. Large TV screens in room

Cons: We were given a disabled access room and not told. Didn't have time to ask for a room change as only there one night.
Pros: The villa was great- I booked a 1-bedroom but received a 2 bedroom, with 2 bathrooms and tons of space. The balcony overlooked a water fountain and it was nice and quiet, and within walking distance to our area's pool.
Pros: Rooms were nice and we liked the proximity to pools and playscapes.

Pros: GOOD LOCATION
Cons: THE FIRST ROOM WE STAY IN WAS VERY NOICE BY THE FREEWAY
The Resort is awesome.
Pros: The overall set up of the Resort. Very nice, very clean and the staff is absolutely wonderful.

Pros: Feel of key west was very authentic. It was very quiet and relaxing. Loved having car right outside.
Need better travel info/maps within the resort itself

Pros: We were lucky. We were given a three-bedroom apartment on Block #1 as an upgrade for a single room reservation without having to go through any sales pitch. It may not happen to everyone. This is not a hotel. They do not call it “Time Sharing” anymore, they call it The Club, but it’s all the same, they will try to sell you the membership. Just turn any TV set on and you will watch the resort presentation first. Not a big deal. Everything was spotless. The $20 resort fee was no surprise to us; it was disclosed during the reservation. The staff was friendly and the property is well maintained in a fantastic location with a lake view and a sandy beach with everything nearby.
Pros: The 3 bedroom rooms were spacious enough for a family of 8. It had 3 full bathrooms as well. There are patio areas off the living room where you can get outside and relax since there is a screen to keep the flying bugs away.
The resort is close enough to all the local attractions. You can be at Disney in 10 minutes, but still feel secluded and away from the crowded roads.
The two pools were nice, and the tennis and basketball courts were well maintained.
They added new outdoor exercise equipment and a new kids play area.
They have a lot of daily activities for kids if you want to spend the day relaxing at the resort around the pools.
They always seem to be working hard at maintaining the property.
Cons: The internet was free, but too slow to be useful. They use a wireless service from a company called Windstream. I've traveled all over the world and stayed in just about every type of hotel. This by far was the worst internet. I couldn't download work attachments and the kids couldn't stream their Netflix movies or play their internet games. We tried multiple devices (Galaxy Tab, iPhone, laptop computer, etc...). Called the Windstream tech support, thinking they may need to reset a router, but they said that the internet was working fine and that we shared the bandwidth with the other guest. I told him I've never experienced internet this slow, except for dialup. His response was that "it was faster than dialup." Unless they ditch this internet service provider and get something faster, don't expect to use the internet for anything other than email or reading the news. This could be a serious deal breaker if you need to accomplish business while on vacation.
The room was visibly clean and well maintained; however, the carpet and tile in our room hadn't been steam cleaned in a long time. Just minutes after our kids took their shoes off at the door, their socks/feet were extremely dirty.
Pros: Upgraded to a 3-bedroom without us asking! Awesome views. Didn't get to partake in any activities (only stayed one quick night) - but you're definitely on our short list for a return (longer) stay!
Family fun surrounds the lakefront Grand Beach by Diamond Resorts. The Downtown Disney Area is a 12-minute drive, and Magic Kingdom Park is only 6 minutes farther. Orlando International Airport is 17 miles (27 km) away, and guests can drive to SeaWorld® and Universal Studios® in 15 minutes.
Pros: It was nice. Lots of things for the kids. Good job.
Cons: Arcade was a let down. Kids wanna win things. Expensive drinks...ridiculous. Cheap towels, hide a bed was hard. Room was dirty. Furniture and floors...totally not worth the money we paid. We're poor folks. Such a waste of money.
Pros: As it is described it is a Value Resort, the cheapest Housing by Disney but kids friendly invironment, but misses basic shopping needs like fresh milk and cereal as it has a small useful Kitchenette. With a fridge, microwave, wide cabinate but they use USA electric sockets only, you can buy a converter from the gift shop but bare in mind USA only uses 110V electricity. so make sure your device is dual current or you'll end up grumpy like my wife who couldn't use her own hair Devices ;) .
Pros: We were upgrade to a nemo room and that was a very nice surprise. The room was bigger which included a microwave, kitchenette sink and refrigerator. Indoor entry was a plus.
Cons: The little mermaid rooms were really small and not very appealing. All the room were outdoor entry much little motels. Very bare/basic room.
Cons: It took us 30 minutes to check in. They kept telling me that we booked with a third party and that was the problem. We had a 2 year old with us and when we checked in we asked for a pack n play. Went to get something to eat, and when we returned it still was not in the room. We called and it took another 1/2 hour to receive. Very crowded, and the food was just mediocre. Room was very small, if not Disney it would be 1/2 the price.
Pros: The pools were the best part of the resort!
Cons: 1. The smoking area is on the jogging trail! 2. There is only one food court for all the guests so expect long waits in line. 3. The only provide one bed sheet so bring a blanket!!!! 4. Guests don't know what to bring to the registers when cashing out their food.. So they leave the line to get stuff and hold up the registers!
Pros: Mermaid room is small, but ok for a family of 4. The resort has a nice theme and the grounds are very clean.
Cons: The walk from mermaid rooms building 8 is a long walk. It took 11-12 minutes to walk from room to the "cars" pool.
Pros: The hotel was very kid friendly the play areas along the paths were amazing and the pool was also big enough for a lot of quests.
comfort of room
Cons: horrible wifi in room
Pros: The rooms were very nice. The grounds were a lot of fun for my 4 year old grandson. Best part was once we parked we didn't have to drive again. The bus took us right to the ticket booths at Magic Kingdom.
Cons: Not much I can say about what we didn't like.
Pros: This hotel gives you the full Disney experience.
Cons: Take away the Disney aspect and you have an average motel style room in the little mermaid section where we stayed. If you pay more, there are better rooms closer to the resort style pool. The eatery was Disney style and the food was just what you'd expect from one of their mass dining experiences.
This family-friendly Walt Disney World Resort hotel in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is within 2 miles (3 km) of ESPN Wide World of Sports and Disney's Boardwalk. Disney's Hollywood Studios® and Epcot® are also within 3 miles (5 km).
Pros: Without a doubt the best attribute of this hotel is quiet! We love how spread out and green the grounds are.
Staff was great.
Pros: On Disney property
Cons: Room not clean. Insect issue. Had to move rooms.
Pros: The room was very nice, very clean. The Disney feel is amazing. It is very nice getting to and from the airport. The hotel provides a bus called the Disney Express.
Cons: The bed is lumpy and feels old. You could roll over and keep rolling over because you rolled down the dip in the mattress.
The bus system with this hotel is very poor. Our first day, we went to Hollywood Studios, it took 30 mins to get picked up by the bus to go back to the hotel at the end of the day. We saw perhaps every other hotel have 2 or 3 buses go by. The day after, it took almost an hour from the time we left the room, to the time we got to epcot.
Pros: Bus service
Cons: I was very disappointed with the riverside. I expected Disney service and Disney clean. Not here
Pros: Quiet & not crowded
Cons: Check-in. Check-out, and reservation changes were a nightmare. I booked and pre-paid for 3 nights on Kayak assigned to Travelocity. I called twice in advance to explain that I would check out after 2 nights.
When arriving to check in after midnight the line was out the door and only one person was working. After 45 minutes and them not able to program the "key" wristbands, I finally got checked in using 1 key card for 4 people. They told me my reservation was 3 days and to call when I check out early.
Day 2 I again waited through a long line to get more keys at which time they again tried to program wristbands with no luck so instead gave me more key cards.
When I checked out I called the front desk as instructed. The person told me I had to come to the front desk per protocol to check out early.
The room was nice but nothing special and overpriced. I will not stay there again.

Alligator Bayou beds are lit by overhead lanterns and feature 250-thread-count sheets, gingham bedspreads and tree-branch accented headboards. Armoires feature stamped-tin doors. Pine-paneled vanity areas display bark-framed mirrors, and inlaid stone and tile floors. Accommodations include satellite TV, coffeemaker, mini fridge, and complimentary wireless Internet access. Babysitting and child care services are available (surcharge). The hotel has connecting rooms, available on request.
Pros: The resort is close to everything. We used the grills almost nightly. Lots of things for the kids to do.
Cons: The maid didn't come once during our 5 night stay. When we got to our room the tub was leaking from the handle. The fan that drys the tub came on scaring my kids. We called the front desk and it was fixed quickly but I feel the maid should have caught it when she cleaned. I also didn't like how they try to get you to buy the timeshare.
Pros: It's on Disney Property, good for family to spend time together rather then having two separate hotel rooms.
Cons: They waste your time trying to get you to buy a time share. They tell you to go to a different area to get parking pass and then keep you
Pros: I attended with my husband and 2 younger children and 2 older children. We all had something to do. I like the different activities and chance to just relax. Everyone loved the numerous pools, lazy rivers, and there were many Jacuzzi hot tusb that we always found that it wasn't crowded. I will definitely stay again.

Pros: The room was clean. Motel was located close to the Disney parks.
Cons: We couldn't get our MagicBands to work after they were first uploaded. We had maintenance come to our room to check our lock. There was nothing wrong with the door lock. After 3x the 1st day and 2x the 2nd day going to the front desk we finally got our MagicBands to work. We were tired and having to deal with this didn't help.
Pros: Food court had a nice selection of food at reasonable prices for on the resort. Location is close to grocery stores, restaurants etc. My kids loved the pool.
Pros: The shop had nice gift. The boat ride to downtown Disney was nice.the bathroom was roomy but the door would lock if it was shut to fast
Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable 3 of us woke up sore. A worker in the gift shop was rude to one of my daughters who has a Disney annual pass but does not have an ID because she is a minor. The woman did not want to give her the discount that comes with the Disney card.
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is just 1 mile from Epcot and within 5 miles of Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney's take on New Orleans is as magical and whimsical as the Big Easy itself, with the added benefit of being family-friendly.
Guests arrive into a New Orleans-style train depot, and are ushered into a 2-story inner courtyard with the reception desk. Buildings are bordered by gardens and cobblestone streets, and some offer views of the resort pool or the Sassagoula River. Mardi Gras prevails at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, where large replicas of floats are suspended from warehouse-like ceilings. Outdoor fun includes the Doubloon Lagoon, a water playground with alligator fountains and a colorful, Mardi Gras- inspired slide in the shape of a dragon. The resort also features a separate children's pool, playground, game arcade, bike rentals and watercraft rentals. Wireless Internet access is complimentary.
Guests can also visit the Port Orleans Resort, a Louisiana- riverboat-themed hotel only Mark Twain or Disney could have imagined. Complimentary ferryboats on the Sassagoula River transport guests to the Area. The Scat Cat's jazz-themed lounge offers guests a retreat from the bright and busy theme parks, and a poolside bar where guests can enjoy snacks in the warm Florida sun. Complimentary theme park shuttles and area shuttles are provided for guests. A fitness facility, tours/ticket assistance, and supervised childcare/activities (surcharge) are available as well.
Mardi Gras-inspired guestrooms feature rich, blue color schemes, French- inspired paintings and antique-style furnishings, creating the warm southern style for which New Orleans is famous. All rooms have tables and chairs, coffeemakers, compact fridges, complimentary wired Internet access, multiline phones, safes, cable television and dual vanity areas
Pros: Beautiful hotel! The character dining at Garden Grove restaurant was awesome, have your kids bring their autograph books with them. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to families/kids. We ate dinner at Il Mulino restaurant and despite being more upscale Italian, the waiter was very engaging with our kids and was happy to make them chocolate milk with dinner! The grotto pool was beautiful, large, and poolside food/beverage service was on the ball.
Cons: Nothing really not to like, just some advice:
Prices are expensive but hold value. This isn't a Super 8 but then again they treat you way better than a Super 8. Just remember EVERYTHING at Disney World is expensive.
Also this: this hotel is on Disney property but is NOT a Disney hotel. You still get the same perks like early park entry and free shuttles to the parks, but what you don't get is free shuttle from/to the airport on the Disney Magical Express. A Disney rep will tell you to use Mears transportation saying it's cheaper than a taxi but don't. Our taxi, with tip, was cheaper than Mears' fare plus we didn't have to wait the half hour for the Mears shuttle. We were in a taxi in about 5 minutes at the airport.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Very pricey for simple things like morning coffees or breakfast for kids.
Pros: The room was fantastic. Updated and positively posh. The 12th floor view was incredible with fireworks shows from two Disney parks. The in-room Starbucks was a nice touch. I found a new favorite Disney hotel. Thanks!
Pros: Hotel was comfortable and clean
Cons: Our room was next to the elevator so we didnt sleep well from the noise of the motor constantly.
Pros: Location to Epcot is a huge benefit. Great staff. Remodeled bathrooms are great.
Cons: Older facility is noticed.
Pros: Upon check in we got a free upgrade to a suite no extra charge.
Pros: Closet is too small. With the ironing board in the closet you can't fit anything in there. I understood this room #444, was newly constructed....has anyone tried hanging a suit in this closet? very poor planning.
Secondly air conditioning was malfunctioning when I was there.
I doubt I'll stay at the Swan again.
p.s. Note I didn't mention the bomb scare...that could happen anywhere. The closet is ridiculous.
Cons: Required 2 night minimum
Pros: The boat ride from the hotel to Epcot, boardwalk, and Hollywood Studio's.
Cons: Our reservations were for the Swan hotel but when we arrived we were told we were at the Dolphin hotel. We asked why we were there our reservations were for the Dolphin hotel. We were advised we must have read the confirmation wrong. The woman at the Dolphin hotel asked if we had the confirmation. I pulled it up on my phone and she confirmed it showed the Swan. She asked if she could make a phone call. She made the phone call in front of us and advised the person on the other end what I had and what their system showed. She was told we were supposed to be at the Swan and they corrected it in their system. The lady apologized and said that she could check us in but we would have to get our key's from the Swan because their systems were different. When we came back the bellhop that was going to assist us with our bags said very sarcastically, "ladies you are at the wrong hotel. I will tell you very slowly how to get there." We told him that we went to the Dolphin and they found that we were supposed to be at the Swan. He told us he would assist us with our bags once we got our keys. When we turned around he ducked into the back and a different bellhop advised us that he went on break so he would assist us.
The room we were in smelt like mildew and we were advised that there were no other rooms available.
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly. We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was elegant and huge! We loved the swan!

Pros: Location was perfect for all theme parks. Breakfast was good with scrambled or omelet eggs, waffles and more. Received free upgrade to suite as a couple. Across street and within plaza are major name restaurants. Very courteous staff in person and over the phone.
Pros: GAME ROOM for kids. great breakfast.
Cons: The hot water is protected so you can not get a very hot shower, but still a WONDERFUL property!
Pros: i arrived a day early before staying at a Disney resort. The hotel was kid friendly and close to Disney. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was included and got the family's day started on a full belly before a day at the parks.
Pros: Inside the hotel looked nice
Cons: The room smelled funny
Pros: The cleanliness of hotel, comfiness of the beds, the friendliness of staff. Everything was greater than expected and VERY greatly appreciated.
Pros: Staff was very accommodating, location was central to all things we wanted to do, the is a Mexican Restaurant across the lot that was amazing and their staff was awesome. The breakfast was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. 3 buses of children arrived while we were there and became concerned---NO NEED everything was great and the staff stepped it up with a 95% occupancy! Would come again.
Cons: That my stay was over!
Pros: Breakfast choices were plentiful and tasty. Staff was very helpful. Being located at the end of a shopping strip made it VERY hard to find. It needs a sign lower to the highway so it can be found. I missed it over and over.
Pros: The cleanliness bed comfortable, the breakfast was excellent . I have no complain will visit again.
Cons: There is complain
Pros: Friendly helpful staff and good location.
Pros: Proximity to Conference I was attending
Cons: 1. Water supply was off when I arrived. Therefore no shower before my first meeting
2. I have stayed ay several Fairfield Inns. The scrambled eggs at this one looked like they were made the night before and had to be cut with a knife to get some on your plate - awful
Pros: location to disney was great , hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast provided choices. Parking and shuttle to disney was free.

Pros: Clean rooms, comfy beds, fantastic staff, great value for cost
Cons: Very confusing and arduous trip from the parking to the location of our room, the 6B area is hidden behind a section and the walkway could have been marked better to more efficient long walks to an from the car.
Pros: There tends to be somewhat fewer families and children at this resort, given its focus on being a convention facility/resort.
Cons: Some of the rooms, especially those in the Cabana buildings are in need of renovations.
Pros: Great location for exploring Disney theme parks. Beautiful lake & setting. Delicious breakfast buffet, including Mickey Mouse waffles. Clean, comfortable room.
Cons: Check-in took a long long time. After visiting the parks all day, that was the hardest part and the least enjoyable moment of the stay.
Pros: I did not like anything.
Cons: Rooms were very small and dingy. Bathrooms were very dirty. Grounds were not kept up. Restaurants were dingy and overpriced. Poor value for the money.
