The hotel has a great location, it is within walking distance to Downtown Disney. The room that my wife and I stayed in was a deluxe poolside room which was perfect as we had our own patio and was right beside the pool. The room service is excellent and is available from morning till 11pm. The price of the hotel was very reasonable and we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to all the Disney Parks and this service is very reliable.
I cannot think of anything that stood out about this hotel, the rooms were clean and had a friendly staff, but that even was not extraordinary. Paying to parkwhen I am already paying to stay there. The ammenities said the bath stuff was from bath and body works, not true Parking was a hassle, room was very small., beds were small. Was definetly not a resort hotel in anthing other than location.
It;s proximity to downtown disney 1. Our room didn't even have a spare table to eat off of! 2.soiled sheets but they did fix that. #3 air conditioning did not work so the engineer had to fix that! #4 no place in the hotel to eat a regular breakfast off the menu only a 15.00$ buffet!
Nothing. This hotel sucks! Do NOT stay there! Everything that could happen bad and more, did.. The view was good. Thats it! And you couldnt even walk on the balcony cause it was about 2 inches big. They charged me 34 dollars for 2 pieces of bacon and a biscuit! Most of the workers were really rude and unperfessional. It was frickin rediculous! They charged me 80 bucks for a hot tub upgrade and the hot tub didnt even work! The room & floor reeked of animal urine and they didnt even give us clean towels or change our sheets. I've never had such a bad expirience at a hotel & be charged so many random outrageous charges and not even know what your getting charged for.. For your sake.. do not even look at this hotel, let alone stay there. Everthing.. Everything about it was a joke
Very good room service, shuttles to and from Disney parks and shopping centers The one thing that scares me is the charge $250 fine if they say you smoked in or near room.Your word against theirs and they have your credit card.
I was happy to see that the bed sheets were clean. the staff at the front desk.
Clean, Friendly, comfortable, great value for the area
4 pillows per bed. balcony marketplace fruity water at checkin I couldn't get water out of the vending machines with dollar bills I left a note for the maid to leave me lotion & set the alarm clock, and she didn't, but a manager did the food at the restaurant was quite poor.
Beautiful place to stay
The location was fantastic, and I loved having a shuttle take me directly to all of the parks. Breakfast is totally worth purchasing! My shower wouldn't drain the first night, with balls of hair coming up into the water. But, the hotel fixed it promptly after informing them. There were innocuous hairs in the shower before I had even used it.
Efficient staff. Sink was leaking under basin, but once we advised front-desk when we were checking out, they called in the repair, so that whoever next occupies the room won't be affected.
friendly staff. comfortable room.
I loved the location. The disney buses from here were never reliable. One night it took us nearly 45 min once we got onto the bus to get back to our hotel, and they were rarely on time.
Great location, on Disney property, able to navigate to parks easily, including hotel shuttle service. The only downside was that even as a guest, you had to pay for parking. It should be included in your stay.
The staff was rude every time I asked a question or needed something (as if I was putting them out because I had a question but house keeping was very polite), I was charged an extra fee of over $140 for parking and a resort fee for the week (which I was not informed of prior to booking or arrival) What are the "taxes and fees" for if that doesn't include everything? When you arrive you assume your lodging is paid for in full and then get slapped with over $100 in extra fees? I just felt like that was bad business.
The water in the shower was extremely hot almost to the point of not being able to use it and no cold water
Friendly personal. Location was excellent. Rooms nice. Did not like all the hidden fees. The television situation is deplorable, no stations and no HD(really in this day). No breakfast included will probably be a deal breaker for staying again. We are already looking at other places for January and March.
Convenience, Value, Location, Cleanliness, Friendly Staff. Additional fees not disclosed at time of booking.
Upgraded to suite because active duty US Military (Marine Corps). Very accommodating and very pleased with room and customer service at front desk.
I loved the location. Great being right across from Disney Springs.
Proximity to WDW
Service Everything was a add on cost..
We got a room on the 18th floor. The view was amazing we where able to watch the fireworks from Epcot, Hollywood studios and some of the magic kingdom (other hotel was blocking some of the view). Also just people watching everyone walking around Disney Springs helped pass the time. Wasn't pleased with being roped into talking with a hotel employee about going to their other hotels for a presentation(guessing it was a timeshare). We did not do it but felt extremely pressured like if we didn't do it we were not welcome in the hotel. Had to spend the rest of our time there avoiding that employee.
Location This is not a Disney hotel yet they wanted to charge us to eat with Disney characters. This was $10 more for breakfast. Staff was rude when we asked about it.. we requested the manager get in touch with us but never did.
The room was well designed and clean. I attempted to call guest services multiple times. Mostly from my cell phone, once from the room phone. No one ever answered. Also, the internet connection was to weak to connect. I wasn't able to connect at anytime.
It was clean and the bedding was very comfortable Size of room would be a little small for an extended stay.
I liked everything about the hotel, clean, friendly. I didn't like that the buffet breakfast was around $13.00 to $15.00 every morning, and then when it was the character breakfast it went up. It doesn't really give you a choice to not pay the $26.00+. Especially when you are a guest at the hotel and are expecting to eat at the same restaurant every morning. And the pancakeson the buffet were very rubbery and hard.
Nickle & dime too much. Extra for resort fee extra for lousy parking etc
Interior was new and updated. Couldn't beat the price for the location and amenities. Perfect for a short stay while visiting the Disney parks!
The rooms were amazing, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were amazing!
After spending two nights at one of the cheaper Disney properties we booked a room here at a lower price for our last night in Disney World. We stayed in the tower and our room was significantly better in terms of comfort and size than the room we had just left at the Disney hotel. Considering that both properties were at a out the same distance from the parks and that both provided transportation to and from them, the Wyndham was hands down a much better choice. We'll definitely stay here on our next trip.
We love Disney! The grounds were beautiful and clean. The shuttle buses are a great conveinence. Sometimes a little slow getting there, but a nice feature. The balcony view of the grounds is breathtaking. Upon arrival our room smelled very moldy. We could not sleep there. We did get another room. The place is kind of dated. The rooms, carpet, furniture, decor are all dated. Needs upgrading. Especially for the price. And all the extra fees are ridiculous!
The lobby staff was extremely friendly to our two year old and he loved it. The hotel is within walking distance to Epcot, and the rooms are perfectly clean and acceptable but not as updated as you would imagine at over two hundred a night. The valet wasn't very nice at all when we first arrived, and the parking system at the hotel made it just about impossible for us to enjoy the pool after checking out since we only stayed for one night.
Location is great if you want to be in walking distance of epcot. Rooms were dirty and it seemed like the bedding and pillows were real dirty
I like that the Swann / Dolphin are right by the Boardwalk. I wish the pool had a better slide for the kids.
Nice hotel but visit left a bad taste on last day with excessive parking fee On our last day...I told the front desk my parents were coming to meet us for breakfast. I was told they could have 30 minutes free parking. I replied the breakfast would take longer than 30 minutes and we might take a walk afterwards to the boardwalk. I was told I could use my room key and have an $18 charge added to my bill. I reluctantly agreed. My parents came and we had breakfast and spent about another hour walking around. $18 for under two hours seems excessive to me. It was a small thing considering everything else at the hotel went so well..but soured the end of our vacation.
Location The exorbitant rates for basic needs like food drinks and parking. I will never come back because I feel like I got rapped
We went for a dance competition but had so much fun in our down time!! We walked boardwalk, swam and enjoyed the fireworks that surrounded us. The palm trees and fountain seemed to be synced to the fireworks and it was amazing! Honestly the only thing that I didn't like was having our stay end
Renovated rooms in the hotel are very nice,-although a bit small. Location is perfect for Epcot/food and wine guests. Staff attentive and accommodating. Kids pool slide closes at 6. Non-renovated rooms in East wing have a musty smell.
The snacks provided by the hotel during the business conference I attended were good quality however the food at the restaurants was overpriced and underwhelming. There was a huge dead cockroach in one of the bathrooms. In another bathroom I noticed a bunch of ants crawling on the walls. It seemed no one was keeping after the bathrooms since they ran out of toilet paper and soap, and also some of the same motion detectors on the sink were not working for days at a time. To top it off many of the staff at the restaurants seemed to have a chip on their shoulder and did not seem happy to be there.
The entire staff with the exception of the cabana people were extremely friendly! We felt so welcomed everywhere we went! The Dolphin cabana people were a bit rude!
The hotel looked great for USA. Most USA hotels fall short in comparison to international 4 star hotels. The rooms looked brand new and views were great. Enjoyed food and wine festival. Staff at hotel were extremely friendly. No breakfast included for the price. I'm more disappointed by Kayak and booking.com for the price I paid for the rooms. Thought I was getting the best price but I happenened to ask if I wanted to spend another night on my last night there. I was quoted a price that was $100 less than what I was paying already. The manager started the sentence that his price might be more than booking.com. Boy was I shocked that his price was about $100 less per room.
They upgraded us to a suite since our room was not ready
Staff was very nice and the location was awesome for the price! Would definitely stay there again!
The location is fantastic. It's within walking distance to Disney Springs, and has a trail directly to an overhead crosswalk that leads you straight to the Bibbity Boppity Boutique. The hotel has restaurants and a super convenient 24 hr market. The pool was nicely maintained, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Paying to park is a drag, especially considering it was $17 to self-park, and the lot is pretty far from the majority of the rooms.
Great location; really comfortable beds; clean; friendly service; top amenities Just outside of the Disney bubble. We were there for vacation but most seemed to be there for conferences. Rooms a bit dated.
Location is great. Just a few steps away from Disney Springs. The hotel says it is part of the Disney Resorts but it is not. None of the benefits of the Disney resorts are available at this hotel. No extended hours at the theme parks. Self parking charge: 20 per day! Food price. Cleanliness very poor.
Nice location, most convenient for Disney Springs area; perhaps the only true advantage over other hotels in the area. Average to below for facility, quite dated in the room. about 25% greater than other facilities in the area and parking/cost was an issue... the gate/payment machine was difficult and could not produce a receipt.
Location was perfect. Right next to Disney springs. We walked there every night! Shuttle bus takes you directly to parks no need to deal with the hassle of parking. Hidden resort fee. Unexplained charges. Staff did not do a great job explaining the services and there costs. Have to pay to park your car.
Construction has caused this resort to fail on multiple levels. Wait until it is all done before staying here.
The staff was very friendly. They have a 24 hour shout with a nice selection of food, bakery items, coffee, and snacks for the inbetween hours. They have a shuttle to the Disney resorts available to guest which makes it very convenient if you're not on a schedule. The room felt dirty, especially the bathroom. Outdated but trying to be new and improved.
Both parking fees and resort fees were high in combination for benefits. The fact that a family member visiting for more than 30 min had to pay $18.11 to park was steep.
Overall it was clean comfortable and centrally located The undisclosed resort fees which were not mentioned on the website as well as the parking fees. My wife and I felt that these fees were purposely withheld until checkout.
Room was good, Bed was comfortable and relaxing for me, though my wife complained about it. Bathroom had two sinks, which was nice. Reception, Concierge, Restaurant, all were professionally managed and was impeccable. The TV was dated. Rather low def. Only showed cable and the remote was hard to operate. It was not interactive so I could not see the hotel charges on the screen.
Truly exceptional service whether in the restaurants, bars, convention space, 24 hour convenience store, guest services, or just walking around. The staff are super friendly and they proactively offer assistance. The Italian restaurant has super amazing meatballs - best in a very long time. My room was a good size and clean. Quality toiletries and other amenities. Tip: Ask for a room with a decent view because mine really sucked!
Close to downtown Disney. Within 10 miles of most parks. Free on site parking Ads say they had microwaves in rooms on kayak. Even had picture of the thing on the website. No microwave. Brought food I just had to throw away. $50 per day deposit hold on your card that was not disclosed. Had $250 on my account frozen that I hadn't planned for which can ruin a vaca. Facilities not up to usual Hilton standards but I understand it was under renovation. Overall not pleased, felt misled, and loosing faith in the Hilton brand
It was run down, dirty, lots of construction; many guests calling into front desk during check in with complaints, as evidenced by the girl repeatedly telling each person that there were no other rooms. Very difficult to find parking, the front of resort due to so much construction.
Conveniently located across the street from Disney Springs. Hotel renovation was very disruptive.
Close to parks (use Uber; it saves tons of time) and really nicely appointed room. Kind staff. Undergoing construction on new pool so we didn't get to use that. Breakfast buffet is pretty pricey so we declined.
Across the street from Disney Springs. Easy to shop & eat. Very comfortable rooms. Staff was very helpful. Nothing.
We went for our anniversary. They went above and beyond to make it the best day for us ever. Nothing. They were almost perfect making it special.
Everything! Hotel under construction but it is not inconvenience.
Location was great and the hotel was awesome! The pool is excellent and great accommodations!
Took longer than expected to get into the room.
The place was clean and updated. Great location to Disney Springs. I booked a king bed. They told me I was out of luck because they were sold out and they finally gave me the king but with attitude.
I liked that we were walking steps from Disney Springs, what use to be Downtown Disney. They also provide transportation to all the other Disney parks as well. The room was spacious. The smell in the hallways were horrible though. It was a wet moldy smell. They were doing some renovations and building though. The smell leaked into the room as well making it smell like dirty laundry.
The location is amazing. Rooms are nice a big. Staff is very nice and helpful. The shower head was terrible.
Very nice resort with large rooms
It's on Disney Property, good for family to spend time together rather then having two separate hotel rooms. They waste your time trying to get you to buy a time share. They tell you to go to a different area to get parking pass and then keep you
Location of Hotel, near Disney World and size of 2 rooms condo.
I attended with my husband and 2 younger children and 2 older children. We all had something to do. I like the different activities and chance to just relax. Everyone loved the numerous pools, lazy rivers, and there were many Jacuzzi hot tusb that we always found that it wasn't crowded. I will definitely stay again.
The resort is close to everything. We used the grills almost nightly. Lots of things for the kids to do. The maid didn't come once during our 5 night stay. When we got to our room the tub was leaking from the handle. The fan that drys the tub came on scaring my kids. We called the front desk and it was fixed quickly but I feel the maid should have caught it when she cleaned. I also didn't like how they try to get you to buy the timeshare.
It was a great experience and value but unfortunately we were not able to use the facilities like we wished ,due to the bad weather Not having acomadations for a full dinind experience is a disapointment, especially when you have spent all day at hte parks, people just want to relax and not have to drive out again for dinner. Also check in time should be at 3pm. and check-out at 11am. like a lot of other resorts ,because we felt very rushed in the morning like other guests.
the pool was very nice, the room was sweet.
The room was nice, and the furniture (beds, couches) were comfortable. The balcony was nice. There were toenails on the bedroom floor from the people that were there before us. That was disgusting.
The cleanliness of hotel, comfiness of the beds, the friendliness of staff. Everything was greater than expected and VERY greatly appreciated. Nothing!
Staff was very accommodating, location was central to all things we wanted to do, the is a Mexican Restaurant across the lot that was amazing and their staff was awesome. The breakfast was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. 3 buses of children arrived while we were there and became concerned---NO NEED everything was great and the staff stepped it up with a 95% occupancy! Would come again. That my stay was over!
location to disney was great , hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast provided choices. Parking and shuttle to disney was free.
Proximity to Conference I was attending 1. Water supply was off when I arrived. Therefore no shower before my first meeting 2. I have stayed ay several Fairfield Inns. The scrambled eggs at this one looked like they were made the night before and had to be cut with a knife to get some on your plate - awful
Friendly helpful staff and good location.
Inside the hotel looked nice The room smelled funny
Breakfast choices were plentiful and tasty. Staff was very helpful. Being located at the end of a shopping strip made it VERY hard to find. It needs a sign lower to the highway so it can be found. I missed it over and over.
Beautiful decor in lobby and friendly staff. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast could be better. They eggs were nasty. It was very close to Disney World and a lot of restaurants.
The cleanliness bed comfortable, the breakfast was excellent . I have no complain will visit again. There is complain
i arrived a day early before staying at a Disney resort. The hotel was kid friendly and close to Disney. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was included and got the family's day started on a full belly before a day at the parks.
Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, awesome continental breakfast (for free!), and awesome staff!!! Would definitely come back, especially for the price and amazing location
Cleanliness of hotel was okay. Could use better upkeep
The water took forever to get hot in order to shower
I love the pool and the pool hours I like the forest look that surrounds the outside pool area the bar by the pool was a plus! I just really like their pool area lol I saw a roach crawl out of the wall behind the toilet in the bathroom i didn't like the fact that I had to request for my room to be cleaned I thought if you are staying somewhere for a certain amount of days that room services automatically suppose to come clean the rooms without being asked to do so the Pizza Hut in the deli wasn't That good the meat toppings tasted old the food is overpriced and the drinks are watered down the girl at the front desk with the bang and dark hair she wasn't rude but she did not seem very inviting either
Nothing I have baby,There are ants in the toilet And If you delayed you will not find parking
Beds were comfortable. Not as clean/kept up as I've liked.
There's a pool onsite and when we walked into our room, the towels looked extremely clean - bright white. Most of the staff were friendly, except the people in the sub shop there across from reception/registration Thought this hotel was closer to the airport than it actually was, but it was still 20 mins w/o traffic. Chose this one b/c we had an early morning flight and it was $85. You get what you pay for here, but assuming that the $35 hotel would have been the same. Just parking, you see people hanging out in the parking lot after 9pm which made me uncomfortable. Once you enter the building you see how old and run down this place is. Our room was okay, but then we saw the ants in the bathroom and them on the table in the room. I was ready to just get out of there. Thankfully we were there just to sleep and left VERY early. Spent less than 8 hours, which was more than needed. Stay away if you can. There are better hotels in the same price range and I'd pay more not to stay here
Our room was in great shape and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area is very attractive and it featured a water fall, water slide, and hot tubs. We had to park quite a distance from our room.
Nice pools, convenient to everything, restaurant on site Breakfast not included
If your there for the pool then your going to have a good time and the location is great if your going to the parks.staff was polite. And attentive. . When we got to the room we found mold Growing in the Bathroom walls. Mirror is stained with grey spots. When we wanted to leave for dinner the door would not lock. Had to wait for a tech. To repair the door. So we asked for another room . Once we got in the other room we found a big rust spot inside the tub. I don't think i will stay there again.
Refrig must have had a leak as the floor was wet infront of it. Bath room mirror was damaged. Rugs were worn. Property needs a serious update.
Got bit by spiders during the night. Room smelled like mildew. Bathroom mirror needs replaced bathroom door knob did not function properly.
Bed was comfy, shower hot; very good after a busy day. "Resort fee" not included in room price: annoying.
Location to Epcot is a huge benefit. Great staff. Remodeled bathrooms are great. Older facility is noticed.
Location Required 2 night minimum
The boat ride from the hotel to Epcot, boardwalk, and Hollywood Studio's. Our reservations were for the Swan hotel but when we arrived we were told we were at the Dolphin hotel. We asked why we were there our reservations were for the Dolphin hotel. We were advised we must have read the confirmation wrong. The woman at the Dolphin hotel asked if we had the confirmation. I pulled it up on my phone and she confirmed it showed the Swan. She asked if she could make a phone call. She made the phone call in front of us and advised the person on the other end what I had and what their system showed. She was told we were supposed to be at the Swan and they corrected it in their system. The lady apologized and said that she could check us in but we would have to get our key's from the Swan because their systems were different. When we came back the bellhop that was going to assist us with our bags said very sarcastically, "ladies you are at the wrong hotel. I will tell you very slowly how to get there." We told him that we went to the Dolphin and they found that we were supposed to be at the Swan. He told us he would assist us with our bags once we got our keys. When we turned around he ducked into the back and a different bellhop advised us that he went on break so he would assist us. The room we were in smelt like mildew and we were advised that there were no other rooms available.
Beautiful hotel! The character dining at Garden Grove restaurant was awesome, have your kids bring their autograph books with them. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to families/kids. We ate dinner at Il Mulino restaurant and despite being more upscale Italian, the waiter was very engaging with our kids and was happy to make them chocolate milk with dinner! The grotto pool was beautiful, large, and poolside food/beverage service was on the ball. Nothing really not to like, just some advice: Prices are expensive but hold value. This isn't a Super 8 but then again they treat you way better than a Super 8. Just remember EVERYTHING at Disney World is expensive. Also this: this hotel is on Disney property but is NOT a Disney hotel. You still get the same perks like early park entry and free shuttles to the parks, but what you don't get is free shuttle from/to the airport on the Disney Magical Express. A Disney rep will tell you to use Mears transportation saying it's cheaper than a taxi but don't. Our taxi, with tip, was cheaper than Mears' fare plus we didn't have to wait the half hour for the Mears shuttle. We were in a taxi in about 5 minutes at the airport.
Hotel was comfortable and clean Our room was next to the elevator so we didnt sleep well from the noise of the motor constantly.
Closet is too small. With the ironing board in the closet you can't fit anything in there. I understood this room #444, was newly constructed....has anyone tried hanging a suit in this closet? very poor planning. Secondly air conditioning was malfunctioning when I was there. I doubt I'll stay at the Swan again. p.s. Note I didn't mention the bomb scare...that could happen anywhere. The closet is ridiculous.
Staff was very friendly and helpful Very pricey for simple things like morning coffees or breakfast for kids.
Upon check in we got a free upgrade to a suite no extra charge.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was elegant and huge! We loved the swan! Nothing!
The room was fantastic. Updated and positively posh. The 12th floor view was incredible with fireworks shows from two Disney parks. The in-room Starbucks was a nice touch. I found a new favorite Disney hotel. Thanks!
Free shuttle Microwave and small refrigerator if needed Close to restaurants and other activities
Brand new hotel, well equipped and people prepared.
Proximity to Downtown Disney, nice bed and towels. Closet much too small and ackward. No ice machine on our floor. Very small bathroom.
The room was attractive and clean. The decor was pleasing and had all ammenities that were needed for the stay. The resturaunt was open late and the food was excellent. All the food was good quality and tasty. All staff were very pleasant and eager to help/please. The free shuttle to shopping and area parks was an great service to offer. The view was a let down- we faced the pool but the view was blocked by an unattractive and dirty roof of a covered porch (floor 2). The hotel charged for parking at a daily rate. This was very off putting given it is in Central Florida- the only thing around is Disney... (This is not a big cities with limited land/ real estate like NYC, Boston, DC)
Location was great, close to Disney Springs. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping knocked at 8 am requesting what time we were checking out, then they knocked again at 9 am. Had to call the front desk to request housekeeping STOP knocking and waking us up!
Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed. Located near to hotel where the conference that I was attending was held. Walking distance to Downtown Disney.
Very good value for money. Clean and nice-looking rooms, very good location, firendly staff.
The rooms were clean. Nice place for the money. Rooms were a little small.
I didn't like the breakfast, specially the oatmeal and the scrambled eggs. The coffee was good!
closeness to disney parks, lots of parking space around the building, quite corridors, clean, reasonable price, comfortable bed. no disturbance by ticket sellers fridge was too old not cooling enough, ice machine on several floor not working, b/fast too basic
The hotel is very cloes to theme parks, morning breakfast is good before a long day. The hotel is good if you plan to visit parks and need a place to stay. They offer shuttle only to Epcot and Universal. It is really very hard to find, look at the sign.
I liked that there was no extra fees for parking, breakfast, etc like many hotels in the area.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good. Nothing
Excellent customer service. super clean room. quiet and relax. near Orlando attractions. only wi-fi, no free internet at lobby for guests.
We stayed at this hotel for several weeks during our vacation. Great hotel, very clean, friendly staff. We can't wait to stay again.
Nice clean rooms. Great bargen for price. Breakfast could have had more items.
the smell of the room , humid.
The room was comfortable with good furniture, the staff was friendly. The hotel is near to Disney Theme Parks a good option for a small family.
Pool, cleaning lady they nice No microwave refrigerator was not that cold room need paint job
No jacuzzi as advertised. Majority of ice machines and vending machines were out of order. Definitely not a resort. Just a motel. No elevators. Room cleanliness wasn't that great. Most tv channels didn't work.
It is very close to the Disney area The firts day when we arrived the room was not ready to use. There were no towels, soap, shampoo, body lotion available for use. There was no telephone equipmen conected in the room
Nothing. The hotel was dated and dirty. We didn't feel comfortable or safe. We put our $100 leftovers in the refiguratior to come back to the room to hot food we were told someone had turn it off previously without being offered a comparing replacement. Stay away at all cost!
Location,Ease of finding, price was okay Service was not the greatest. There was bugs and even a lizard in the bathroom
The bed was not great but I thought comfortable (not too hard). Don't need a fluffy comfortable as weather was hot. Bed was good enough, A/C worked great, pool was big (no towels but we dried in the sun), Found ants when we arrived but during our week stay, had everything closed (threw out food garbage in the hallway trash) - we were good. Great value if you just need a place to shower & crash as you spend ALL day during the theme parks.
After a really long couple of days, I tried really hard to find something redeeming about this place but ended up having to pack up my kids and our stuff and find another hotel at 3:00 am. The fact that the place looked run down and dirty were disappointing but not acceptable given the price. The advertised free internet was out of order but again, not the end of the world. The fact that the room wouldn't get below the mid 80s was a problem. Four calls to the front desk brought a maintenance guy at around 1:00am. At 1:30, he installed a different A/C unit but by 2:30, all of us were still lying wide awake sweating and the room wasn't getting any cooler. I again called the front desk to ask to be relocated to another room and the night auditor Christine was obviously furious that I had bothered her again and told me I had to pack up all of our stuff and come to the front desk. That is when we found that the food we had bought for breakfast was now infested with ants and spiders which explained the bites my daughter was complaining about. At that point, we couldn't stay on the property. ..my kids were extremely upset and wouldn't have been able to sleep so we went to the front desk and I politely asked that the charges be refunded given all of the problems. Christine was extremely annoyed and would only check us out but refused to refund anything. So at 3:30am, we were forced to find a new hotel and pay for the remainder of the night someplace else which was a HUGE improvement and worth the extra hundred dollars. I want to add that I have only hit on a small number of the issues wrong with this place. There was also the 'lake' which was more like a cess pool, the slippery slime trails the crossed the sidewalk in front of each rooms air conditioner, the phone I had to search for the cord for in order to call the front desk, the doors that all looked like they had been forced open repeatedly, the scratchy pillows and hard bed and one of the first big warning signs, the discount ticket/hard sell timeshare booth in the lobby...all of which I would have been willing to overlook if I had just been able to get a few hours sleep in a room that wasn't 85 degrees...and full of ants, spiders and whatever bugs were biting the only parts of our bodies we could put under any covers. The fact that the night manager was so shockingly rude and refused to do anything but check out a dad and two young kids after 3:00am says a lot about why you shouldn't even consider booking a room at this place.
The room was clean. We keep up our own so no staff cleaned while we were there. I wish they had a checklist for necessaries that you could give the staff when you needed supplies like towels, soap, coffee, cups. ... We made a family trip with our daughter's family. We have no complaints personally but our daughter had some stuff missing from her mini fridge on returning the one evening she had housekeeping in. Just a couple of drinks but still. I have no personal complaints. I would stay again.
The place was clean,it had 2 pools which was awesome. Food services convient. The lizards and staff in the fron could be a little more friendly
Clean, comfortable rooms. Near Disney, can take back roads to get to park. Resort fee
Cathy was an amazing and very professional person. She brings hospitality a new meaning. I would stay their again!!
MONEY/QUALITY Between 5 and 6 pm all the beer you can drink CLOSE TO DISNEY WIFI VERY POOR, not in the room CLEANING STAFF TOO SLOW! Only made my bed and change towels. Not a good cleaning in all the room
The price and close to Disney The hotel smells like feet soooooo bad! Almost unbearable, had to buy a freshener, and they didn't have safes in the room.
There's nothing we Iiked about the room. Dirty rooms Musty smell Mold on bathroom ceilings Beds were very uncomfortable Rusty bathroom fixtures Carpets were dirty Not a place to take children
Good location!!! Rooms clean, just humid.
Location ,near to disney parks , all market you need is nearby Hotel staff too slow . Check in took 2 hours and checkout half an hour Restaurant is pathetic , nobody is even interested in serving you in there , I had to call someone from inside to make me sit and than also for cooking me breakfast omelet . They require multiple hours of training in every field which has not been provided .Even after 5 days of staying they were still staying that they are still learning new system .
Found this hotel on kayak.com when looking for something affordable in Kissimmee. It was cheap but looked decent. It was exactly what I expected, very dated and very used. The bathroom was a little nasty but you could tell that housekeeping tried their best to keep it as clean as possible. When we opened the mini fridge there was a horrible smell that then would not leave the room. Had to go buy a plug in air freshener. Other than that it was fair for the price.
Location Later hrs would be nice
I liked the staff- they were very friendly The rooms (I switched once due to a not good toilet incident) are very old and in poor repair. This staff in a renovated hotel would be money.
Nice beds, plenty of room in tower rooms. Restaurant not very good, slow service, over cooked food, too pricy for what I ate. Nice staff though
I paid for three rooms and they had no parking for only one car, I got in touch with the front desk and there was no solution. They said that the large trailers that were taking up all the spaces had reserved rooms two months ahead and the manager was the one that had approved that. Imagine coming from a long day of magic kingdom so much walking and having a nine month old crying and screaming but you can't park because there is NO parking. At no moment during check in did the front desk attendant mention the problem with parking, aside from that having to park in a spot that was not really a parking spot because the front desk attendant basically told you to figure out where to park a 15 passenger van yourself. Problem with no solution. On top of that a broken hair dryer, a old toilet seat, very uncomfortable pillows, more like shams and a mildew smell. You seriously get what you pay for.
The price was reasonable. At check in they couldn't find my reservation I waited over an hour for them to find it. They finally found it and the bed we got was broken. The Wifi was extremely slow or didn't work at all at times . But what really upset me is on the second night of my stay they locked me out of my room with all my belongings (including the diaper bag) because they said I didn't pay for my stay , a problem they failed to take responsibility for blaming Priceline. Again I waited over an hour for them to resolve this issue with my two small children... They finally found my reservation and let me back in my room. Would not stay here again !!!
Rooms were clean, the help was great but a lot of kids made it a bit noisy. The hotel is within walking distance to almost a dozen restaurants. The only downside, which is a deal-breaker for many, is that the Wifi is so poor as to make computers useless. Several of my neighbors were business travelers and said that they would never stay there again as they had to go to area restaurants to get thier work done..
The resort was beautiful and with the Observatory type enclosure over all the hotel, restaurants, shops and convention center any rain or bad weather was a non issue. The resort fee for free water, electronic paper and gymnasium use should have been optional not mandatory.
We loved the environment and the friendliness/ helpfulness of the staff there.Thank you. We had a fabulous time. No
Staff was very attentive. Property was beautiful. Rooms were perfect and the pool is amazing. Extremely overpriced. Resort fees are $20 per day and self parking is $18.00 per day. Resturants are also overpriced. Presentation is beautiful but quality is poor. The $168.00 meal for two at Old Hickory Steakhouse was by far the worst cut of meat we have ever eaten. The side of mushrooms were cold and a hard texture. The wine was the only plus.
I used their spa facility to get a massage. The staff were very friendly, however my massage was mediocre.
Nice hotel, nice pool Steakhouse inside was very over priced. Thought it would be more of a family like hotel, but is definitely intended for business.
The unique experience of the hotel. It is unlike any other hotel in Florida. The cheerleaders. I had no idea they would be staying at the hotel. It was like staying in a dormatory. Doors slamming all night long.
The fact that you have to pay for parking even though you are staying there
Swimming pool area Alcoholic beverage preparation not so good at pool area!!!
very clean price, too expensive
I was with teen age male grandchildren ,our interests were the Game room, the weight room, the pool and room service, as well as walking the grounds.and a little shopping.....We went to Epcot one day and the bus service was great , including a fun female busdriver on our return back to the hotel There always seemed to be a tax or add on and then another for the city, hotel, conferance center etc.,Also I fell off the treadmill and sustained many bruises an abraision and a couple minor cuts, louckily I had no fractures ...I did not want to fill out papers as it was the 1st day of vacation andf I could walk ok....However looking back I think I should have been introduced to the tredmill, it was going so slow, I made a mistake and put in a pulse of 84 which is not high and I thought it would give me an idea of where I should go from there...anyway it kept moving faster and faster I could not keep up and I could not reach the stop bottom because I was too far back on the machine ...I ran and ran and finally fell off.......Apparently I w
It's a gorgeous hotel! I had 3 young girls with me who thought it was "so cool". Each time I stay and try to use the internet, it never works.
Awesome pool for kids, the steak house, the gators, transportation for Disney overall all the facilities
Good location, friendly staff, great value: Convenient location for dining and going to Disney Springs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, It was the most reasonably priced hotels of the 3 we stayed in during our visit to the area. Bathroom was small and dated (but clean).
Location was great. Room was spacious. The room itself was dirty. Taco Bell cup left under the couch, hair in the tub, a broken off fake fingernail on the floor. Ants in the kitchen, bathroom and even the nightstand. Shuttles were never on time. I have been staying at Marriots for a long time but this place was a huge disappointment. Not worthy of a Marriot sign!!!
Everything about this place was spot on! Super nice environment. Nothing negative to report, other than having to check out...
Really close to WDW If you don't leave for the day before 9am; don't expect your room to be cleaned. Came back to no towels, unmade beds and no coffee. Really surprised housekeeping wouldn't come back and check after 9am to clean a room.
Great service & Great staff. One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Orlando. In the center of all the theme parks and less than 20 mins from downtown Orlando.
Seems to be a nice and safe setting for a family. DISCOURTEOUS STAFF. One of the two front desk persons who was working on 12/27 morning wrongly told my wife that I had checked out while we still had not. This caused lots of confusion since I had briefly gone outside and did not have my cellphone with me at that time. When I got back and my wife and I both asked him why he gave the wrong information, he brushed me off and did not have the basic courtesy to apologize for the mistake. That was just plain rude the way he handled the issue.
Wonderful room and hotel in general. Breakfast buffet was very good and convenient. They had a clown making balloons and doing tricks for the kids. Nice staff. There is nowhere near as many parking spaces available as are needed. I had to drive around 3 times, come back to the lobby to ask the gentleman for assistance, who then had me park in front of the dumpster and promised me it wouldn't be towed... Not exactly a wonderful feeling.
Pillows were in comfortable. Consider offering more than one type to fit preference
Close to parks at a reasonable price Group of kids were very loud numerous nights, took multiple calls to front desk to get them to settle down.
Our room had a broken air conditioner, ants, stained carpet, cracked ceiling, dirty bathroom and bugs on the floor. We checked out immediately. Do not stay here if you are expecting the usual quality of a Marriott hotel. This is a disgusting old motel with Marriott on the sign.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Room was nice and spacious, beds were very comfortable, and the location was close to everything! Definitely a great value for the location. Not enough parking
The room and common areas were very clean. Very good hot water. No noise audible from the halls or the outside pools. Convenient bedside outlets. No parking or resort fees. Tired, outdated decor. Hallways were poorly ventilated and hot. Room air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool. Inadequate parking. Couldn't connect to wireless on multiple devices. Bedding wasn't especially comfortable. There are multiple nearby hotels with the same features at half the price.
Everything was great, is clean, beds comfy, breakfast have everything and delicious. Great place for everybody (mature couples, families, young couples) and is close to restaurants, attractions, shopping places. Nothing.
Very convenience overall
Breakfast was included with room rate. Room was spacious with sofa, large comfortable bed, fridge and microwave.
Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room and bathroom seemed clean and in good condition. Neutrogena bath products. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast choices included: oatmeal, bagels, English muffins, toast, muffins, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fruit (grapefruit, melon, pineapple), yogurt, cereal, and Mickey Mouse waffles. Seating area was furnished/decorated well with pretty chandeliers. Coffee/tea/cookies always available in lobby. The thick outer curtains in front of the window (4th floor) could not be closed. Only the thin, inner see-through curtains. This was not something that was broken. It was meant to always stay open so unfortunately, the room could not be completely dark. It wasn't a big problem though. It wasn't bright. Just something to note if you require pitch black rooms.
The beds were very comfortable (top priority). Room had nice layout. Everything worked. The fire alarm battery went off at 3:30 AM. It took 30 minutes to find the night watch and get the problem fixed (Hampton Inns was nice enough not to charge us for the night). The towel rack was bent. The air conditioning compressor was quite loud.
Very clean and spacious room. Looked updated. Close to Downtown Disney, so location was very convenient. The only major problem was the noise in the hotel. The walls between the rooms were extremely thing. I clearly hear the conversations the family next door to us had all morning and night.
15 minutes to Disney and SeaWorld. Next to a gas station and Walmart if you need anything. Everything looks at least 15 years old. NOT disgusting. Just stale and unmaintained. The breakfast was repetitive and cheap. Stayed 4 nights. Same breakfast all 4 mornings. The "fresh" fruits of pineapple, grapefruit, oranges, and papaya were from a can (bad smell and taste). I ate yogurts and bagels. My kids ate cereal (Cheerios and Fruit Loops). Nothing better available. The master bed mattress was worn out and lumpy. The fold out bed mattress from the couch was like sleeping on a pile of uneven rocks.
I liked the pool area. The room service was poor. And they did'nt fix the water isue right away.
This hotel was a steal of a bargain. We brought our small dog and stayed in the pet area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms look like they had been recently renovated. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The breakfast buffet was delicious and, also, a great bargain. We did not have children with us, but children under 9 years eat free! We were visiting our 19-year-old daughter and she ate with us each day and loved it! We definitely will return!!! The bus schedule only ran to certain parks twice a day. We had our car and drove. We would have felt trapped if we had depended on the bus. I am sure that is all they need there, but the Disney resorts run buses every thirty minutes. You could get to Disney Springs easily and ride the Disney buses from there. You can park for free in the Disney Springs parking garages.
The rooms were dirty and staff had attitude about our complaint. Never will I stay there again. She even threatened to kick us out. What kind of service is that?
Please change the head showers
beds were really uncorfortable, woke up with back pain everything was very dusty I suffer from allergies and so does my daughter we both woke up with stuffy nosw
Location is great. For staying off property at Disney, this hotel has all the basics for the best price, and is so close to the parks! It is my go-to weekend getaway hotel when I can't afford to stay on property. Rooms are clean and recently renovated. Wished the adds accounted for resort fees - those always catch me by surprise.
We have been visiting this property for five years. It has always been a great stay and great value. It's very convenient to WDW, and other attractions as well. This visit was especially nice because our room was on the end near the elevator, making parking and unloading quick and easy. We liked everything about our stay. Can't wait to go back.
location to Disney parks Construction in parking lot, not very clean, requested a cab and never get one, check in very hectic
Nothing They gave me a playpen for my baby that was so gross it looked like it had come stains, the fridge was not working in both rooms, it was dirty and no costumer service what so ever I left a day before even though it was already paid for
I was very pleased with the overall appearance of the room and the value we received. While it is not a luxury hotel, it was very nice in relation to the rate we paid and honestly much nicer than I had anticipated. I loved the fact that our room had a small refrigerator and microwave, but the best detail was the fact that there were sliding doors that separated the sleeping area from the bathroom. This enabled early risers to get ready for the day without disturbing the rest of the family. The only complaint is really subjective. I found the beds and pillows to be much too firm, but I tend to like a soft mattress. We brought our own pillows so
