10.0 Excellent
Pros: The clean pool and the free use of the bikes was super very child friendly. The interior of the rooms was lovely clean & quaint. Jean & Audrey were very accommodating and very very helpful. Breakfast was fab, home made juice, yogurt, jams and cakes. Delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the owners are extremely friendly and helpful; a very nice place to relax and discover the region
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Great breakfast. They have free bikes which is the best way to explore!
Cons: I am sure there are good reasons for it, but check in only 17-19 is somewhat inflexible (and late - 1500 usually is the standard for a hotel). I didn’t realize when I booked. Had I not booked via a booking.com promotion, the normal prize of 110€ would’ve been a bit too much. Definitely ok for 80€.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The cabin was ok and bathroom ok. You could sit outside on a small decking area shrouded by trees which took out most of the natural light. Which also made room very dark and dinghy. We were offered free bicycles to use but as we were staying the night it wasn’t worth it. This was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip, very disappointed really. I must say the venders were delightful and very helpful. Unfortunately it just didn’t do it for us at all.
Cons: Very dark and dinghy inside and out

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Positive staff, cosy welcoming reception well equipped with pamplets about the area and things to do, daily newspapers and magazines, plenty of spare umbrellas. The breakfast room, bar and terrace nicely laid out. Our room was very well lit up and cleverly and stylishly decorated and laid out. Villa Teranga is located in a quiet sidestreet, within a short walking distance of main roads and popular public areas and beach.
Cons: Have got nothing to complain about.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The staff was not service minded at all, at one point they actually yelled at us because we forgot our code to the front door. After that they didnt even say hello or good morning to us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This historic little hotel sparkles with the creative ideas of the owners, who imbue Villa Teranga with a feeling of warmth and welcome. Staying here is like visiting a happy home. Thank you both.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a good choice of food for breakfast, including fresh fruit, a variety of teas and also a variety of French ‘petit desserts’. Being able to sit out on the terrace was appreciated as well as having a coffee or a Spritz in the late afternoon. The ladies were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in an ideal situation for going into the town and for us to make the most of the Andernos-les-Bains Jazz Festival.

Pros: Good size comfortable bed, large room, very large flat screen TV. 15 to 20 min walk to town centre, free parking on site, hotel very close to beach only some 10 meters, heated outside pool and large indoor pool. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cons: Shower water pressure a bit low!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Good shower. Receptionist very efficient and welcoming.
Cons: The light on the lower staircase was poor. The shower grouting needs to be cleaned
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff at Reception + booking in was easy. Nice location overlooking beach. Good continental breakfast for 9 Euros each + seating outside, to enjoy the sun. Room + shower room were clean + there were extra pillows provided. Tea + coffee facilities in bedroom We had a pleasant one night stay.
Cons: Outside fences + wooden areas on hotel building looked shabby + needed painting. No lift, which might cause problems with luggage + people with immobility problems. A car is essential to visit nearby village with restaurants + shops.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The restaurant connected to the hotel but not owned by the hotel. Lovely food and great helpful staff.
Cons: We arrived 10 minutes before reception was closing. They gave us the keys and we checked in and came back to reception to complain as we had booked a twin room and they gave us a double bed which was an issue as we were two male colleagues. The room also stank of sewage so there was clearly an issue with the drains. There was no view or bath as stated. All we wanted to do was shower and sleep as we had just cycled 160km. No hot water in the evening or the morning. So that was a big problem. Also hair and dirt left in the bathroom from previous occupants. When the hotel staff at the checkout they were unapologetic and basically that attitude was ‘so what’. Disgusted after we have spent similar money on other hotels on the route down from England and they were all fabulous.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The view from the breakfast area was very nice.
Cons: The room was adequate, bathroom roomy. However, the shower and general hot water supply was poor/ unreliable and the WC didn't flush consistently, so you were always flushing a second and third time !! It would have been nice to see BBC World and not have to rely on CNN, which is very repetitive. However, the biggest problem was the unbelievable noise from a party to the extent that both the bed & floor vibrated from the constant base, thump thump thump, which apparently is organised every Thursday night, which imposed itself on us until 1.30 am, when we felt it necessary to go outside and tell those leaving to do so quietly ! There were approximately 150 people attending, it was a very noisy affair. The manger of the event was very unhelpful to the extent that he commented "What do you expect? This is France !"
5.0 Okay
Pros: Position
Cons: Floor was very sandy. Had not been swept
5.0 Okay
Cons: staff don't listen to comments. room not cleaned well and the disabled shower /bath nother suitable for sumone that is disabled Dangerous
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location: delicious food in generous portions; friendly staff: ease of parking.
Cons: A lift to the second floor would have been helpful...especially with cases to carry!
