I paid so much for this ticket and My seat's table had tape over because it was broken. I did mention it to the attendant and it seemed like " who cares, what can I do about it? It was so uncomfortable not to have a place for my cup or my laptop. Also, there were several people with their phones or tablets playing music and sounds, once again, I told the attendant and totally ignored it. No respect and poor quality care. Not happy with Avianca.
I had paid for my luggage the day before, came to find out it was no record, yet there is a charge in my credit account for the amount and I had no other choice but to pay again! Of course, it is impossible to get an operator from Avianca to answer my questions!
We purchased seats and when we got to the plane they had changed all our seats and could not seat together.
The plane had provisional seats , very uncomfortable. Staff saying every 20 min that all need to use face masks. But they don’t. No food. The flight was reported with delay, we asked about that and they were not clear. The issue was that we were at mid day and need to eat; suddenly we should board and run for get in the plane.
I didn't like anything they charged me $460 for luggage and for check in that was my worse experience ever...
The flight was in time but we got two notifications about a delay. We almost loss the flight because the never updated the plataform and we were thinking the flight would leave one hour later.
Puntualidad
@ checking told carryon luggage was good. At gate they told me it had to pay $105 US. Could have told me before so I could give luggage to my ride and avoid fee. Then told wheelchair ordered. Waited then told not ordered. Then waited longer till it arrived. All passengers waiting for wheelchair had same issue
Overcharged on luggage
The flight was affordable. However, the chairs were very uncomfortable.
Easy check in was great what I did not like was the carryon luggage purchase procedure since you are not able to add online purchase I had to wait 2 days calling since the system was down in the call center and they where not able to help with purchase
Terrible service, my family and I are very disappointed to travel through Avianca, they changed the return flights and we lost flight connection, none of them took responsibility and the staff has a terrible attitude.
We were stranded in Bogota until a day later. Terrible service, my family and I are very disappointed to travel through Avianca, they changed the return flights and we lost flight connection, none of them took responsibility and the staff has a terrible attitude
New seats in Avianca planes are just the worst
The flight attendant marie asked me to get my own water in the back if I wanted it. Overall Avianca is the worst plane I’ve ever flown with. I always fly business and this was my first time using them and it will be my last. Everything from the food, to the staff are horrible
On my flight from gye to Bogotá I was the only passenger in business class with the exception of a pilot who was also a passenger. When I boarded the plane, he was sitting in my seat and the flight attendant (Juan pinzon) came over to me and was extremely rude asking me to see my boarding card and to remove my finger from the seat number because he assumed I was sitting in economy and was trying to push my way to business class. When I brought it to his attention about how rude he was, he didn’t even apologize. On my flight from bogota to nyc, the flight attendant (marie) was also rude. I asked her for water and she told me to go to the back of the Plane and Get it myself if I wanted it. Avianca is overall the worst airline I have ever flown with. The boxed food is disgusting l, the chairs barely recline, and the staff is unbelievably rude
Good budget airline. I was worried about the weight limit of my carryon bags as I know some airlines are very picky about it, but I just walked onto the plane with no issues. Boarding was smooth. I was pleasantly surprised that they served entire meals for everybody - they were okay, but there was variety (soggy sandwich, plantain chips, a cappuccino muffin, and a bottle of water). Unfortunately, the seats were very uncomfortable (none of them could recline or extend the headrest, and the seat was hard), which wasn’t so great for my red eye flight.
It was the smoothest flight ever! Even though it was the tiniest plane.
Overall experience was excellent
Horrible experience at ticketing. Too few clerks.
Muy lamentable la demora Medellin Bogotá una hora de atraso Bogotá Medellin una hora y media de atraso Problemas operacionales y cambio de avión en ambas Decepcionante
They sold my ticket made me by my own ticket twice I am getting legal advice about what they did
After Covid, on board service is non existing. Due to cost restrictions, the entertainment service which years back was second to none, is not available.
It was ok

More healthy food
The planes are old and it shows. However, they felt safe. Crew is great and the food is hit or miss. My flights were on time.
Serve water and reduce temperature in cabin.
Everything was great
