Pros: The food and entertainment was very good. Good choices on both.
Cons: Staff needs be taught better customer service skills. Boarding the plane was carnidge! Flight as delayed slightly but nothing too significant. Although staff called passengers according to "special assistance and upper class" one queue was letting everyone through regards of where in the plane they were sat! When this was pointed out to what appeared to be the person in charge, she more or less shrugged her shoulders and turned her back. In fact she didn't even acknowledge him verbally.
This resulted in people unable to be seated quickly as it would make sense to load the rear of the plane first surely??
On the actual flight one cabin crew taught my eye (as you can understand a long haul flight is very boring!!) and I noted that not one time did she say "please or thank you" Surely that's just basic curtesy!!
In my opinion, Virgin Atlantic is a lot of hype. Not as good as they think they are.
