10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked the Amazing Suite for 3 days-2 nights and we had an exceptional and amazing experience. We arrived very early on the first day, not hoping that we won't be able to check-in early because we know the policy. But to our surprise, they said that we can do early check-in. The staff are so friendly, hospitable and accommodating. We got it that langugage can be a barrier but just be patient and attentive on communicating with them. But no worries, almost all the staffs that we talked too can speak English. And they're kind too. Breakfast was not part of our perks on our first day but to our surprise too, they said that we can have breakfast free of charge. Another amazing surprise for us. Breakfast didn't disappoint. Choices are not limited and they're delicious too. We can't get enough of their local version of fried rice and their DIY noodle soup. Our suite was soooo huge. We didn't imagine that it was soooo more than enough for me and my wife. It was very clean, the bed is so comfortable. We didn't get to use the living room area as we stayed more in our spacious room. Bathroom is clean as well and for experience, there was a thanaka so anyone can try. It was a quiete area and away from the main road. We prefer this environment always. Location was not an issue for us. Besides, there were e-bikes and it was soooooo convenient to have them. Renting one for a day brought us to different places not usually gone by other travellers. And to our surprise too, we found out that the e-bikes that we rented for 3 days are all free of charge.
Cons: Our only complain is the wifi. But not a big deal because travel for us means to disconnect from the usual things we are doing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved it. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and very attentive. The rooms immaculate and beds massive and comfortable and sheets super soft. Pool and loungers great and set in beautiful gardens . We hired their e bikes . So easy to use. Well maintained . Only eight- ten minutes from all main temples. Great not to be closer. We spent three nights out of our four nights in Bagan here . The first night was centrally located but the Bagan traffic goes on till 11pm and starts again at 5.30 am for sunrise so it impacted our sleep. This resort is away from the traffic- set in beautiful gardens . Well maintained pool gardens . Everything is immaculate and a wonderful place to relax in after the incredible temples and sightseeing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Gorgeous hotel with the nicest people working here. The pool area is fantastic with a pool bar. The food is really good, we had lunch here most days after exploring Bagan. They also have ebikes available. My boyfriend had a birthday whilst we stayed and the lovely staff decorated the room, and made a cake and sang happy birthday. We had the best time staying here!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort with a well taken care of garden. Very pleasant swimming pool. Our garden cottage was very large and comfortable. Very good breakfast with a large variety of goods western and eastern. Served in a beautiful open terrace. Restaurant was excellent but rather expensive. Staff were very attentive and welcoming with big smiles.
Cons: Location is far from restaurants and other attractions. Could fit if you have a dedicated driver. Otherwise you pay a lot for commuting and services. The prices for services like taxis, e-bikes and tours through the hotel are very expensive compared to elsewhere. We hired e-bikes in the village next by in half the cost. Hotel E-bike for 8 hours 15,000 k in village 8,000 k.

9.0 Excellent
Cons: shower presure is not strong, the shower curtain is too short.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a total of 5 hotels in Myanmar and this was one of the best. It is in the middle of a big park, so it is very quiet with lots of greenery all around you. We stayed in one of the bungalows right next to the pool, and it had a big room. The pool was big and there was a bar beside it to enjoy a few drinks. Dinners at the restaurant was really good - it was better than eating out - and it wasn't too expensive, given that it's a hotel restaurant.
Cons: You need to grab a tuk-tuk to go anywhere since it is a long way to get outside, but it didn't really matter for us. The bed was slightly on the hard side and we found the pillows somewhat uncomfortable. You may find the decor a little outdated, but we found it quite charming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Fantastically helpful and friendly staff - Easy e-bike rental - Lovely swimming pool - Spacious room with luxurious bathroom (with a thanaka stick + stone for DIY paste) - Wonderful spa with 30% discount for all treatments between (I think) 1300 and 1900. We both had massages every night and the masseuses (Nyang Nyang and Ki Ki? - sorry about the spelling) were incredible. - Close to lots of the temples - Super relaxed atmosphere - Amazing breakfast which (I think) runs from 0630 to 1030 - plenty of time to enjoy the endless pancakes etc - Comfortable beds, lovely lighting in room
Cons: - Our only issue was for our room (and perhaps this was only an problem with our room), the door had gaps (>1cm) at the top and down the side which meant that mosquitoes could wander in. Luckily with it being dry season there weren't a huge number. We had our own mosquito net but there was nowhere to hang it above the bed, and when we asked at reception they could only offer a spray (which we weren't keen for as it would only be temporary + the chemicals never smell great). They are probably better prepared for this in the wet season.

Pros: Great hostel! Good place to meet people, friendly staff, several organized activities, good food, clean.. Will definitely visit this hostel in other cities as well!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great social hostel, very helpful staff, specially the manager, Julian is a super nice person and gave me lots of very helpful tips and saved me money to book tours and flights cheaper. My private room was very comfortable and I had everything I needed! I had a wonderful stay at Ostello Bello Bagan and I recommended to all backpackers who like to have a good time after a tiring long day of being lost in the maze of Bagan temples.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else
Cons: Considering everything else in the hostel is great and well thought out, breakfast is very dull... scrambled egg with toast or rice etc..
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful, the windows have “mosquito-nets“, the breakfast was good and changed every day (except from the two slices of toast with bitter and jam), and the beds were really comfy. And it's super easy to get in contact with fellow travelers at the nice outside area.
Cons: Everything was clean, however, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom and the room, that lingered even after opening the Windows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great atmosphere, clean, and genuine. Julien also been a great house. Local food and pizza delicious
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: almost nothing except the location.
Cons: The room was overlooked a wall behind the generator. Noisy and dirty The washbasin was plenty of hair and the shower too. Not space or shelves for the luggage
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Absolutely nothing was bad
8.0 Excellent
Pros: - Super sociable vibe - Best staff ever! They were super friendly and helpful - They organize some tours
Cons: - Showers are cold in the morning - They play really loud music in the common area all day long (so there is no place to chill during the day)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great tours arranged by hostel. Fantastic touch with regular complimentary anti-pasti. Wonderful staff!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to explore old Bagan; very warm and helpful staff; authentic Burmese interior; great breakfast; love the pool!
Cons: Room is a little bit old; it is a plastic-free hotel, maybe replace all the plastic items in the restaurant?
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good position, very good quality/price
Cons: The staff could be a bit less nervous. One lady at the reception insisted quite a lot that I should pay on the spot when I’ve just arrived, instead of showing some flexibility and giving the client the possibility to pay later on or at the check out time. Seen it’s a rather expensive hotel, I would have expected better service from this point of view.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location and nice setting.
Cons: While breakfasts were great other meals were very plain and very expensive compared to the local restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Paradise-like hôtel, à little oasis in the middle of chaos. The staff, especially amazing Min Min was super attentive, helpful, welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early in the morning and have got a room right away without even asking for it, this kindness and consideration really touched us. Min Min has given us very practical tips and advices for our stay. Everyone was very discrete and caring. This hotel has definitely exceeded our expectations! We would definitely recommend this place and come back again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location!
1.0 Poor
Pros: the lemongrass mojitos
Cons: Our stay here didn’t get off to a very good start. We had been in contact with the hotel to arrange for them to send a taxi to meet us at the airport. Our flight was the last one in that evening, there was no taxi there for us & we were left in the car park with the airport closed down and our phone not working so we couldn’t contact anyone. As we only have a debit card, we’d contacted the hotel before we arrived to ask how we could settle our bill & the reply was either cash or credit card, when we asked specifically about a debit card we were told no, only credit cards. We paid our bill in cash on arrival, leaving us short of cash. The ATM outside the hotel wasn’t working so we were unable to access any more cash. At the end of our stay we asked if we could pay our restaurant bill with a debit card & were told, of course, no problem. The biggest problem was not one that would usually occur, no more than once per year, as the local pagoda was having a festival, right outside the hotel, that went on for several nights. In the room was a printed notice advising that there may be a little noise from the chanting as part of the festival……and 2 pairs of ear plugs. The chanting wasn’t a problem, it couldn’t be heard over the very loud booming bass noise that went on until 3am the first night and until 2 am the second night. When we complained to the manager we were offered a different room which was of no use as the noise could be heard in all the hotel rooms. We were then offered a move to the sister hotel but as were being picked up at 5.30 am the next morning we really didn’t want to be getting up even earlier than necessary & having to rely on the hotel to get us back in time to be picked up, especially given the earlier dismal failure with transport arrangements. We felt that this was dealt with very poorly by the hotel management.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Grounds and the pool setting were very pretty
Cons: The service was extremely poor. We found that service in Myanmar is generally a little slower than other places, however this was dreadful. On the first night of our stay, we dined at the hotel. Our main course took well over an hour to arrive and it was barely luke warm when it did. We'd ordered some more cocktails about 10mins before our mains turned up but then only one cocktail arrived (20mins later) and we had to chase the second one down. Also on our first night, my partner had spoken to reception to arrange a late check out on our final day and had agreed a time and price. The following evening reception told us they were fully booked and no way could they accommodate our request.....many words later they decided actually they could, but still charged us. Considering how cold it is in Bagan at this time of year, we didnt feel the bedding provided was adequately warm, the beds and pillows were also below what I would expect.. All the dining is open too, yet there are no heaters so people were sitting having breakfast in down jackets (it does heat up, but not until mid morning). Finally, we both had a massage and my masseuse was sniffing and coughing near constantly yet wasn't wearing a face mask; given the current problems with Wuhan virus in Asia, I found this very concerning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is so beautiful, with great rooms with private terrace and gardens. The pool is beautiful - if a little cold! The hotel is really well located, right next to Old Bagan. The staff were super helpful in arranging everything we need. Restaurant is great with a good selection, wine, cocktails and a good breakfast spread. Would definitely stay here again if we were back in Bagan.
Cons: We stayed during the annual festival which was extremely noisy - there were warnings about this in the room, but had we known in advance, we may have changed our itinerary. It was REALLY loud!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and those on the backside are very quiet. There's a restaurant with a Terrasse if you decide to stay in the hotel. The breakfast is excellent. Just opposite the road are more restaurants. And the best is travel agency Sunshine for booking various trips as well as renting eBikes for exploring the temple sites. To make things perfect, an ATM is in front of you hotel.
Cons: Nothing at all
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was close to all the temples. The staff was very friendly. The pool area was really relaxing.
Cons: The beds were very firm which some people may like. There was a sewage smell coming from the drains so we kept the shower drain closed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff at the desk. Great pool, even if just for hanging around on the beds.
Cons: Breakfast could be more interesting, but they do offer a complete Western and Asian buffet
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff were very polite and helpful. Location was very fairly decent and made access to the temples easy
Cons: Dirty. The sheets were all yellowed, we were given old ripped towels and the bathroom had mould.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff and location were amazing
Cons: The pool was super cold. But that could have been the time of year I went. It was still lovely to just lie by the pool
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean, fairly central location in New Bagan, lovely pool, rooms are basic but clean, rooftop restaurant has simple food for lunch and dinner
Cons: Basic breakfast in a fluorescent-lit hall

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the people, great coffee at breakfast. The garden is beautiful and the area is interesting. It is very quiet we could easily travel to other places.
Cons: I wasn't keen on the croissants and brioches as they were made with a particular butter I didn't like. Otherwise the cooked breakfast was very good. The other thing was that the pool was too close to the restaurant and so wasn't something you could use easily but more of a relaxed area when eating or drinking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beatiful outside and inside. Great wifi.
9.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, centrally located. Clean place where to stay. Professional staff.
Cons: Everything you book extra is more expensive than what you get outside , especially airport transfer. They have charged me for a soap container I have broken , which is fine, but 8 dollars appears to me a bit too much . Breakfast not adequate for European customers.
10.0 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Wellcoming was great, staff very good, breakfast good too, a bit out of town, but Madame WaWa, can book an e-bike for you, very cheap. The best way to travel and see Bagan. Nice pool and happy hours. Thanks Madame WaWa for being so nice with us and everyone. Cheers to every one.
Cons: The bathroom curtain was dirty and the water was leeking from somewhere, every day it was like a pool on the floor. I think it's not a big problem, they can fix it easily.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Ruby True hotel in Bagan for 3 nights in Jan’20, with our family of 5 staying in two adjacent rooms. I had read the reviews about the hotel manager Wah Wah and she certainly didn’t disappoint. She was lovely and extremely welcoming, like having another mother to look out for you. She was up at 5 and making sure we got away for our balloon flight OK, then she is waiting reception when we arrive back home after dinner and riding ebikes around for the day (I’m sure she didn’t rest until all her guests were safely tucked away in bed for the night). When my wife told her about a few scrapes and scratches from riding ebikes, she appeared with antiseptic creams and lotion. But, all the staff were lovely, the gardens extremely well manicure and the pool area very nice. Add to the 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails, we had a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, functional, the beds firm but comfortable and rooms well cleaned, just a little dated. The breakfast buffet was reasonable and the location is OK, just in the outskirts of new Bagan, but a manageable walk into new Bagan for dinners, as well as some surrounding restaurants that were ok. Would happily stay here again if ever we were to come back to Bagan. Also certainly recommend hiring ebikes via the hotel to explore Bagan and it’s temples, as well as a hot air balloon ride, just be prepared for the mosquitoes and dust.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place! Just upon asking the staff where to find a certain cigarette brand, they came back with the exact kind a few hours later. We felt this was so kind and thoughtful. The staff were so incredibly kind and the property is beautiful.
Cons: Would have liked one full bed instead of 2 double beds
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful! All the services we booked were good price.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: After being in Nyaung U and not enjoying our hotel, we moved to New Bagan and we totally enjoyed the pool and the grounds the property. As for the location we enjoyed the 15 minute walk into town.
Cons: The room had mosquitos which I found to be a pain. The shower cord in the bathtub was too short to stand underneath and have a regular shower. It wasn’t a biggie for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds and swimming pool. Balcony to relax on.
Cons: The restaurant wasn’t the best available in the area but the hotel recommended good restaurants locally.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hotel with perfect staff and location. We are stay here for two nights and would like to stay more. Bagan is amazing place in Myanmar.
Cons: Location Staff Price Breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wah wah was so kind and caring! We arrived early in the morning by bus. They arranged transportation, stored our luggage and helped us rent a scooter to watch the sunrise. Very beautiful people and place!!!
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice gardens and swimming pool.
Cons: Bathrooms need a little work like new shower curtain and paint the door.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The room was perfect very comfortable, wonderful and helpful staff upon check in and throughout booked our bikes each day when we needed them. Impeccable grounds with 2 pools, show stage (for traditional Burmese dances at night) and it's own little temple! Spectacular! We got the room we wanted with the view we wanted. The breakfast had lots of veggie options which made us ecstatic and it all tasted wonderful. Seriously solid 10/10 one of the best hotels I stayed in in the world. Really impressed with the quality to price with this lovely hotel in Burma! Stay here you won't regret it :)
Cons: That we had to leave :( It was an exceptional stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is brilliantly located within a very short walk of several temples and pagodas. The hotel staff were humble, friendly and helpful. The whole hotel complex is clean and well maintained. A great place to relax around the pool, or use as springboard for touring around the area and the thousands of temples and pagodas. Great value for money. Definitely was a return visit.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Breakfast buffet was outside and in the morning was very cold (around 14 degrees). The room and bathroom were terrible, impossible to have shower, the water was alternating cold and burning water!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool area is very cozy and has a gorgeous garden around, the staff is polite and helpful, the tour desk very efficient. The bed was particularly comfortable (we slept in the rooms block next to the larger pool). The breakfast has a good combination of both asian and western options.
Cons: We did not encounter any particoular discomfort.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Pigeons making noise on the roof.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, great helpful staff, Ebike hire available, local restaurants nearby
Cons: Room a little small and a bit dated but not a problem
6.0 Good
Pros: The location, the breakfast and the swimming pool area. And, of course, the staff. Their English is very poor but they are so nice and friendly that at a certain moment you don;t even care... :)
Cons: It is very, very, very basic...We only used it to sleep otherwise it would have been a difficult experience. I didn't get the basic room but still was very basic. Not even a safe in the room was available and if you travelling you need a place to store (at least) your passport when you are not around.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting of the hotel is lovely and in keeping with the environment. There are temples on the other side of the lake which provide great photo opportunities and the hot air balloons fly overhead in the early morning again making for great photos. Staff were very helpful and kind. I had two full days there and the hotel arranged a guide and driver for me who were excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and espectacular views from the pool and the lake cabanas. Staff friendliness. Dinner al fresco by the pool with the most amazing views to the lit temples in the vicinity.
Cons: The description of some of the rooms is misleading as it says you have a view to a land-mark when in reality the views are only from the pool and the lake shore cabanas.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Small beds and slippery floor at reception. Staff called us twice asking us to pay for the extra bed even though I told them I need to take a rest first and I’ll do it later. Worst experience ever.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: View from the pool is amazing, I choose the Hotel because of this and was really increadible to arrive in the afternoon and seat to see sunset. Pillows and bed really good, big room and great view from the room (I choose lake view, but even if you can´t afford this room no problem, all the rooms are nice and considering view from the pool it is not necessary to have lake view).
Cons: Food is not a highlight, for sure. Breakfast is ok, but considering price and category of the hotel should be better. Service around the pool is poor, staff should be trained better (even if they are very nice, it seems that they don´t know what to do). The hotel lacks a person with very good english, a manager, to talk to people and see whats is going on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best place to stay in bagan so fare. Amazing sunset from the swimming pool and lovely diner
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Easy access to the ancient temples. The grounds are well kept, with a beautiful central pond and lush vegetation. The layout of the room was good and spacious. We appreciated the fruit platter on arrival.
Cons: Breakfast was very bland and disappointing, not at all on par with international 5 star standards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service , Nice view and place
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is really closer to the viewpoint tower and hotel provides car for transit.
Cons: The facilitate is a lit old and the villa design is not convenience for the older people. Specially they have hotel policy for the child charge, but did not mention in BOOKING.COM, it created a lot of arguments.
7.5 Good
Pros: You will find amazing photo spot here
Cons: Dated facilities

Pros: Room was spacious and clean. We got free water and coffee everyday. Staff very nice and helpful. We rented an e-bike and it was always ready on time. Breakfast rich and delicious. Thank you :).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room is ample and comfortable. It's pretty reasonable price or even super cheap compared to a lovely quality. We received such excellent hospitality. All staffs were polite and helpful.
Cons: There was some problem with the air-conditioner. We had to change the room twice, anyway, staffs were helping us a lot.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quiet location. Very nice and helpful reception staff, they even let us check in at 7am.
Cons: Weak wi-fi signal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff, beautiful environment. In the neighborhood, everything you need.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel offers very good value for the money, good location, cozy restaurants nearby, ebikes for rent
Cons: Two separate beds
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel indoor facility was just like the photo. And it was good.
Cons: 1. I asked early check in while booking. But when we go to the hotel, it wasn’t possible to early check in. Because rooms were fully booked. And I wasn’t informed earlier. 2. Some part of the hotel was under construction. It was little dusty at the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We like absolutely everything. The best breakfast from our trip in the country ♥️ the staff is so smile and helpful
4.8 Okay
Pros: - decent breakfast - due to overbooking we got upgraded to a family room, which wasn't better, just larger. - bed was large and comfortable - simple but good shower
Cons: - Our bathroom was clean, but OLD with nasty corners etc - There was no chair or table in the room - The AC was very noisy - The yard in front of our room wass an ugly construction/maintenance area - wifi was mediocre like everywhere
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. Very helpful staff. There were ready to help with any our request: got a taxi a tour guide for us, helped to rent scooters, even found a tailor to fix my clothes. Highly recommended.

6.0 Good
Pros: The room was really nice and comfortable. The bathroom was large and provided great space and comfort too. Extra large bed and comfortable as well. We were lucky to have no neighbors as all bungalows, except the suites, are all semi-detached.
Cons: The noise in the dining room was terrible and deco really poor. You could hear an horrible coca-cola fridge making a big noise ALL THE TIME and not fitting at all in such a standard hotel. The food was overpriced for what it was (even if it was ok in terms of quality) and breakfast choice was limited, to say the least.... Not at all ok for a 5 stars hotel. Could do much better for the expensive price! The e-bikes in rent at the hotel were 3 times more expensive than in the city area and because the hotel is isolated and far from other service provider, you are cornered to pay the price with no other alternative. Not really commercially acceptable.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Spacious rooms
Cons: We had spent USD 1000 for 3 nights including food and drinks. When we were leaving and getting into car a man from hotel comes and asks for USD 2 for a coke from minibar. Amazing that they had to make sure that they got 0.2% of the bill too and made it unpleasant for us.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Suites are big
Cons: Food is no good; room rate too high; menu prices are high too for Myanmar and toiletries quality low as compared to price you pay for room rate. Rain shower didn’t work well and strange sulfur smell one morning from shower cubicle
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quaint and functional, but no wow factor.
Cons: Food was mediocre.
6.0 Good
Pros: Conveniently located close to the valley of temple and a little outside of New Bagan. The overall layout of the hotel is nice and airy. Room was large, modern and very comfortable. Huge bathroom with a tub and a nice shower. All rooms are in bungalows on a park. Nice swimming pool
Cons: This hotel is totally overpriced for what they offer. For example, a Coke in the in-room minibar is $2, which for Myanmar is ridiculous. There are 2 swimming pools, one is great for the overall view but is literally in the middle of the lobby so no one can use it. The other one is nice but has no pool bar and is at the opposite end of the property to the bar/ restaurant. Restaurant is poor: prices are high and food portions are small and of poor quality. Buffet breakfast is OK but one could expect way more for the price paid. Everything is charged: while most hotels provide free electric bikes to their guests, this hotel leases them and it is not cheap. Finally, staff is trying to make money for themselves: the bartender only charged us for one round and wanted us to pay the second one in cash instead of charging it to the room pretexting some "system issues" that were resolved as soon as we refused...

7.0 Good
Pros: The property met Western standards for appearance, furnishings, landscaping, attractiveness. Spacious room.
Cons: Such a dirty bathroom floor! "Bungalow" room was not a bungalow! Much motorboat noise from river.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil surroundings by the river. Staff were attentive and friendly. Property layout is good with our room overlooking the pool. Good breakfast.
Cons: Property is showing signs of age and looking tired.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Big room, well decorated
Cons: Water was not clean on first day. It was brown. Other than that everything was good.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. Great breakfast and some cultural activities on property.
Cons: The rooms and bathroom could use a little updating,
9.0 Excellent
Pros: You're pretty much a stones throw away from a beautiful, ancient temple. Our room was by the riverside and the view was wonderful especially the comfortable bench that is right outside the room..great place to sit in the morning and have a cup of tea to soak in the view.
Cons: If I was going to be picky, I would recommend anyone who is a light sleeper to avoid a river facing view as the boats can be extremely loud in the morning. We were woken up at 5am both nights but it didn't bother us at all as we took it as part of the experience.
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful grounds! The restaurant and bar underneath a big tree by the Irrawaddy river were amazing! Breakfast was great. In a good spot to explore temples in Old Bagan.
Cons: Room was a old and run down. Dirty marks on the walls and curtains. Bathroom drain was a bit stinky. Water temperature in shower is not hot, it can be quite cool in the mornings when you are you for sunrise!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view of the river nice view from our room staff helpful great launching pad for our excursions
Cons: Restaurant service so so, do not seem to know how to accommodate double turns of diners. Everyone ate at the restaurant because it was convenient but in a couple of occasions we were told there was no tables available while there were plenty held for late diners
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Even if you are on a tight budget, it's worth staying at least a couple of nights in this oasis in Old Bagan. Bungalows with pool view are good value for money and breakfast under the big acacia tree is a lovely start of the day. There is an egg station, good coffee, fresh fruit and veggies, croissants and lots of other Western and Asian options. Rooms are spacious and come with their own porch, everything is clean and the staff is very helpful. Not a lot going on in Old Bagan, but I found the location great for exploring pagodas on foot and didn't mind walking to the Moon vegetarian restaurant next to Ananda temple.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful attention by the staff--they even called us before breakfast was over down stairs. Very clean accommodations, good air conditioning (Mandalay is hot!) excellent value.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great, especially for the price. Breakfast was really good. Service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and tourists information was brilliant. Just ask. E-scooters were available at hotel for hire. They booked my onward travel and I was collected from hotel. Location was right in the middle of everything. Little town was great. I got my shoe repaired and my phone repaired. Perfect jobs and very reasonable price.
Cons: The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and I had to ask that the shower be repaired before I could use it. I lost time first morning as a result.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They let me check in at 5:30 am after the overnight bus from Yangon and even invited me to have breakfast. Friendly staff, basic but comfortable rooms, good location. Breakfast is coffee, fruit, eggs, toast and some local snacks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent property in a great location. The staff are lovely, the breakfast is huge and delicious. Our room was big and clean with an excellent hot shower. I'm a solo parent traveling with my daughter and felt safe and well looked after here
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The kindness of the people there !!!
Cons: A bit noisy at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and helpful staff. Check us in earlier with no issues. Very cheap e-bikes rental. Great breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They did really early check-in for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location. The room (#801) was quiet and comfortable enough (one pillow was strange) and floor wasn't cleaned, but bed was ok. Toilets and great showers were on the same floor (near kitchen) and it was ok (sometimes they had problems but the staff fixed it soon) and there are more restrooms on the ground floor. WiFi was ok (changeable, sometimes slow). We rented e-bike here for good price (and you can bargain a little bit). We bought bus tickets to Mandalay here for fixed price (it was comfortable because they drive from hotel to hotel doors). We booked this room on this website much cheaper than they want on reception desk offline.
Cons: We had only one type of breakfast and it wasn't healthy (a lot of dough fried in the oil), but there was fried egg and fresh fruits at least. There is some strange loud prayer (?) whole the night somewhere near the hotel, it wasn't bother us but other guest was complain, but I think it's not the fault of the hotel you can hear it from half of the town.

7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful pagodas just outside the opening dining spot
Cons: Noisy people from other rooms and wild lives outside the roof
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, nice pool area, spacious room. Decent location.
Cons: Not clean! Bathroom shower had soap scum all on the door, towels no longer white but discoloured with stains, bed head stained. Bed mattress was a box spring so any partner movement could be felt. Loud music from next door all night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The general manager was so so helpful - she couldn’t have done more We were upgraded to a large room with a huge balcony We had onward connections to make and she advised us to go to tourist office across the road, the gentleman there was most helpful
Cons: Everything was priced in US$ even the washing which they priced per item - equivalent European hotel laundry prices!! Outside it cost K 1,000 per kilo!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, nice and good spa, nice pool area.
Cons: The towels and bed sheets were little bit tired
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice staff! Good breakfast! We did not like our first room but we got nicer room, without extra charge! Super helful and kind staff!
Cons: Superior rooms are not so good, one small window! Everything (furniture, shower ect.) was old and a bit dirty!
4.6 Okay
Pros: A kind-smiling bellboy in dawn time, pretty swimming pool, a small temples near the hotel and early check-in service. Across the hotel, there was local open-air restaurant near Bagan house workshop. I dropped because there were many local people in this restaurant. 500k rice noodle soup, 1000k coconut mixed rice noodle were very yummy.
Cons: I would like to complain both this hotel and the booking.com. I, booking.com level; genious2, made a reservation with upgraded-deluxe room. But the room I stayed was very different than I saw in the app with photos. My room was located in the corridor that had a Chinese sign-those room near my room seemed for the Chinese group of tourists; so I assumed that my room was the lower level, not the deluxe room. With that kind of situation, believe or not, I thought this hotel had a stereotype of races about western and oriental people. And the pot in my room was really dirty so I complained. Also the washroom was not that kind of 4-star washroom- so dirty to use. So we stayed just one night, I couldn’t stay more 3 days in this hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Great hotel food and entertainment great
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and cordial. The breakfast buffet was better than I'd expected. The location is close enough - within walking distance - to everything in New Bagan and yet just a bit removed so that you don't feel you're living directly on one of the very dusty main roads.
Cons: It's an older property and it's showing its age a bit. While it's very nice, do not expect a high end experience. I don't mean to disparage the place but it caters mostly to tour groups. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but just be aware. They tend to flood in and out. Nevertheless we really liked it and recommend it.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location by the river. The sunset was fabulous. There was a nice choice of food and the relaxing areas were very nice
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel was great and the vegetable and fruit gardens were beautiful. There was a lovely young lady on reception called Papa who asked me on our last night how were we enjoying our stay and I jokingly said there were no chocolate croissants at breakfast so she spoke to catering and ensured I had them for my last breakfast.
Cons: The hotel rooms are very basic and not very comfortable, the rooms are very large but definitely in need of an upgrade. We had a terrace outside our room but no chairs so we could not use it. Despite the fact they have fruit and vegetable gardens the food was also very disappointing and expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens and spacious bungalow rooms. Great breakfast. Excellent staff.
Cons: Limited dinner menu on the pricey side but easy to go out.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful setting on the river. The pool was great and our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again but would go out for drinks and food. Setting for Sunset was amazing.
Cons: The food and drinks were overpriced. E Bike rental very expensive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The garden and the pool were amazing. Super friendly staff
Cons: Very limited food options. The hotel needs renovations, the rooms are old.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Small room and slow water flow. Horrible taste of the restaurant in the hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. It had a partial river view , that we could see while lounging on the pool beds in the balcony of our room. The free minibar in our room was a great add on. The overall vibe of the resort was very calm and relaxing. The breakfast was nice too with decent options. The staff was attentive and really helpful during our entire stay.
Cons: The alcohol prices at their restaurant are way too expensive, so avoid drinking there until it is absolutely necessary. The food was ok. It is better if you can ride an ebike or take a tuk tuk to nyaung u , where you can eat at a much affordable restaurant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has some of nicest grounds/gardens I've seen and they grow a huge amount of produce on site as they have extensive allotments. Also the view across the river is beautiful and there are stupas and pagodas in the grounds. The swimming pool is really beautiful in its size, style and location. The food was also very very good and the spa services lovely, but rather expensive.
Cons: The accommodation block we were in was rather tired, as were the fixtures and fittings. There was something subdued about the overall vibe, and it was quite a way out of town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was wonderful- staff went above and beyond to meet your needs. The tour they organized for me was really good- my guide was extremely knowledgable. Everything was clean and I was very comfortable and felt safe.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better- it was average.

Pros: The restaurant at the hotel rooftop is awesome for sunrise and sunset seeing.
Cons: I was waken up by the noise of pray broadcast since earlier than 5am and it’s painful.

Pros: The staff were very helpful. always with a smile. they make sure we were comfortable staying there. we had a few complaints about the room and the staff changed room for us right away. keep asking us every day if we were ok. loved looking at the balloons going over the hotel while eating breakfast every morning.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was overly sweet, helpful and accommodating. I wish i could remember their names so i can thank each of them. They were so nice and friendly.
Cons: The location was a bit far from the attractions (but i sort of knew that already) and it's not an actual street. It's more like a dirt road. I also didn't like that the breakfast was always cold.

Pros: Great hotel, lovely setting and helpful to have e-bike rental on site. The hotel organised a driver for us for a slightly more bespoke days tour which was very helpful.
