Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly appreciate the hotel's excellent location, walkability, and proximity to downtown Benicia, shops, and the waterfront. Many enjoy the historic charm and architecture, as well as the attached restaurant and bar. However, there are repeated complaints about poor service, limited staff availability, lack of breakfast despite advertising, and cleanliness issues in some rooms. While some guests find the atmosphere and amenities adequate, others feel the hotel is run down and not worth the price. Overall, the location and historic character are the highlights, but service and maintenance need improvement.
