Pros: The room was small but we had all that was required. The bed was large and comfy. the shower large and storage adequate for our needs. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The restaurant on site offers a good variety of food and costs. The foie gras in puff pastry was superb. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We would be happy to return.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an excellent hotel for a stopover. Clean, modern, with a great restaurant next door and serves a very good, encompassing breakfast.
Cons: The room was compact but you get what you pay for. It was clean and the shower very good. The usual continental pillows don't help but that's France.....
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good place for a one night stay. Clean, affordable, easy access, decent breakfast.
Cons: Its located a few kilometres away from the city centre of Bernay. So, the only way to go downtown is driving.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Could reach for me the maximum with the addition of a feather pillow. The restaurant and food were excellent.
Cons: I was going to say renovations in reception, instead I will improvements that I hope I will see next year, thank you for a pleasant stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff although the receptionist did not speak English. We were in France, so they shouldn't be expected to, but was unusual for reception staff to speak no English.
Cons: The cot we requested was not made up on arrival. The receptionist dealt with the issue quickly and efficiently but it was late at arrival and we wanted to go straight to bed, and instead the kids had to wait up about 20 minutes for the bed to be made.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Completely refurbished since we last stayed to a good standard. Adjoining restaurant very good.
Cons: On a trading estate fair way from motorway.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The name sums it up: a lovely old farmhouse on the outskirts of town, easily reached on foot in 10 minutes. Charming and helpful hosts, and all modern facilities provided in the hotel. Do try and eat in the in-house restaurant, the food is superb. Bernay town itself is well worth exploring, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, and the Saturday market is outstanding.
Cons: Nothing at all to dislike. But it will help if you speak a little French.
6.7 Good
Pros: A perfectly adequate one night stop a short walk into Bernay. Easy parking, and dog friendly. Lovely owners / staff, very helpful. I didn’t dine in the evening as I opted to walk the dog into Bernay, but the dining hall looked lovely.
Cons: At €126/night the suite option was rather dated, a very soft bed with a waterproof mattress cover crunching away on every turn, and a slightly grubby red sofa lurking in the corner. Very basic breakfast (cereal, bread, jam). I think this was more of a €50 b&q experience than a €126 suite experience.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They love dogs, so it is a perfect place to stay if you are traveling with a dog. The family room had two separate showers and toilets, basically a single and a double room together. The parking was right in front of the house, which was very convenient for us.
