The receptionist was excellent, really welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Although the decor is dated in the foyer it was warm and inviting. Room was tired and dated but it didn't matter to us, it was clean and beds were comfy.
The lift was a bit dodgy and the electric socket in the room was loose but it worked.
Location and reception lady warm room
No hairdryer shabby reception area dirty wallpaper
The hotels location was the best as we were attending winter gardens/cheap accommodation .The rooms were very dated /tired and although the wed site said free parking and free pet stay they tried charging someone , ??? And there was only one mug in each twin room I got a 5mm fragment of broken glass splitter in my foot from of the floor of the bedroom
Needed to be cleaned n floor checked they need decorating and updating the lift was scary very old fashioned . Reception(woman) was rude to a lady on arrival but the guys were ok limited english but helpful
It was very close to all the popular parts of Blackpool, the room was pretty big and the beds were very comfy.
Location was great No Curfew
Staff to be more courteous as at 2am in the morning Sarahs (Main Receptionist) Husband was playing music from the bar loud and laughing with 2 guests. I went down at 2am to ask them to turn the music down as it was late. Sarahs husband turned it down and as I walked back upstairs, he turned it back loud before turning it down and laughing. The noise continued for another 15-30 minutes. Spoke to Sarah the next day and she made excuses and blamed everything else apart from her husband (The member of staff). We left after 1 day and lost out on the money for the 2nd night!!
