Best, very affordable option in Microcentro area
My second time staying there and will absolutely stay there again. The location is fantastic - Just above the craziness of Microcentro, but a very easy walk to get there. Staff are friendly, internet in the rooms is fast enough to work on and overall value is fantastic.
The shower took a LOOOONG time to get warm and the bathroom was a bit cramped.
Beeare of the hotel policies
We have travelled a fair bit and its the first hotel that have a policie no outside food or drinks allowed. (Acceptable if the hotel as a restaurant, but ut was not the case) We soon realized, on Christmas eve, all restaurant booked with reservation so we opted to buy a pizza and go back to the room. Well to our suprise the night clerk was very rude and obnoxious in refusing us to bring the pizza to the room. It was quite disappointing. We sat on the curb and enjoyed a slice and then gave it to people on the street. All to say , had we known that ahead we would not have rented this place. Very old, dated and cleanliness is less then desirable. Mildew in bathroom, ac was not cooling the place let alone we requested a second key so we could keep the unit on while away, and that was also an issue and a drama to get the key. All to say there is lots of hotel in BA and this is not one we would recommend.
"Located in Retiro, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Florida Street, Teatro Colon and Plaza San Martin. Obelisco and Galerias Pacifico are also within 15 minutes. San Martin Station is only a 4-minute walk and Lavalle Station is 9 minutes. "
