Great breakfast, but disappointed at the cleanline
We loved the breakfast-- anything you could ever want was available at the breakfast bar. Juices, breads, pastries, omelettes, coffee, tea...you name it!
We were so relieved to finally sit down and relax upon entering the hotel. When we got to our room, I went to use the toilet. Despite the "sanitized" label around the toilet seat, the toilet was visibly dirty with urine and other stains on the seat. It clearly had not been wiped down. Someone was sent to our room to clean it, and it was simply wiped with a dry cloth. The situation made us question how clean everything else was. The hallways were very dark, and the motion-sense lights did not always work appropriately. Make sure you bring your cell phone so that you can see if you don't make it to your room fast enough. The in-room safe also was not in working order. The locks on the bathroom door were also hard to slide open/closed. Sounds silly, but the door won't stay closed without using the lock. While the price of the hotel was cheap, we simply expected it to be more tidy and the room to be in working order.
