Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole complex from the manicured gardens to the exceptional friendly efficient staff to the awesome breakfast and coffee. Something for everyone. We enjoyed the many garden and pool settings that aloud us to have our own space to view the sea and mountain views. Marta and her family were fantastic hosts that made our stay very special.
Cons: Having to leave such a wonderful enchanting environment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Il parco is in a stunning location, overlooking the sea and mountains but it is close to the town of Monterosso al mare. The free shuttle service is really hand, especially for coming back to the accommodation after a long day’s sightseeing. The pool is small but the view from the pool is idyllic. The breakfast area has the same stunning views and there is a large variety to choose from including omelettes of your choice. Marta and her parents are really lovely people. Our room had its own front door and private terrace. I loved this accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely stunning location! The views are incredible. It is a gem.... Marta and the entire staff were wonderful and flexible to assist with late checking from the train. They made recommendations for sunset boat tours. We will be back and highly recommend

Went the extra mile helping us through the public transport strike.

Cons: During the busy season Italian Police close the street into Monterosso. We would recommend printing out parking / hotel confirmation just to make it easier - if you don’t speak Italian!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a perfect place to stay to enjoy Cinque Terre! Right in the heart of historic Monterosso, this lovely, small hotel is in a perfect location, blocks from the beach and near all of the best attractions of this adorable town. Gabriel, the proprietor, is friendly and very helpful. Before we even arrived, he was very communicative and even arranged parking for us at a nearby lot. The second we checked in he gave us a warm welcome and offered many suggestions of things to do and places to go. We only had one night, so enjoyed a few restaurants, the nearby beach, and an evening hike to Vernazza. We could have easily filled another few days in this beautiful region. The hotel provided a tasty and large breakfast, which we enjoyed on the roof terrace, with breathtaking views of both the quaint town and scenic surroundings. Rooms were clean, spacious and modern. AC was kickin'! Highly recommend.
Cons: Be aware that your room will be up a few flights of stairs, but after hiking the trials here, a few extra steps won't hurt!

B&B Le Giare - Monterosso al Mare - Bedroom
4
9.4 Excellent (229 reviews)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The free parking was a definite plus. The staff were very helpful as well.
Cons: The location could be a challenge for those who have trouble walking up and down stairs. Sounds like this is a common problem however for many places of stay in Cinque Terre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modest but extremely clean and spacious room A very quiet and super pretty location; a place to sit peacefully outside while having breakfast Friendly and accommodating staff Air conditioning Close to the newer part of Monterosso: a 10-minute walk up/down a steep hill Monterosso is stunning!
Cons: I wasn't prepared for the steep walk up the hill with my bags upon arrival; without bags, it's not a problem. Recommend making arrangements for a ride to the place upon arrival, if you foresee a problem with lugging bags (otherwise, it's just good exercise!).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely calm real Italian boutique lodging - much nicer than the hectic places on the beach
Cons: Small bathroom especially shower but that was the only thing that wasn’t perfect
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable and accommodated..The location provided a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the tourist zone. A bus stop near the entrance of the complex made the 4 minute commute down the hilline just a matter of paying attention to schedules and buying a multi-day pass
Cons: We were not able to stay longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is amazing. 10mins distance from town by walk. You'll be explained by the lady (can't remember her name) about the shortcuts, travel cards, and what's best to see around the town. Very nice! Room itself was beautiful and very clean, with minibar that is filled up every day. The breakfast was lovely. Very quiet area. I would have stayed there again :)
Cons: I liked everything
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, safe and comfortable place to stay. It’s a good walk up to the property but they’ll send a taxi if you have luggage.
Cons: Rooms were a little loud. Could hear everything in adjacent rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I never give 10/10 but everything was perfect during these 2 days at Monterosso. Room very clean, excellent breakfast with home made cake, not far to the city and the beach, quite, beautiful place and free private parking inside . Good advices to visit Cinque Terre, and very nice host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! From the moment we arrived the owner, older man, was very welcoming, handed us maps and pamphlets offering information about Cinque Terre whether it was about food, beaches, hiking trails, or using the train. The B&B is a very lovely family owned property with lemon trees, olive trees, and many different types of vegetation. The a/c was amazing to have in the middle of summer, room was very clean, and always had toiletries... loved the big towels. Breakfast was typical European and the fruit was very good. Room had a small ridge, and kettle with tea bags. The missing touch was that it would have been nice to have coffee in the room but may it's a cultural thing where Italians take their coffee serious and instant coffee is unacceptable, idk. Owner was very hospitable, we received a travel size bottle of their homemade limoncello from their lemon trees!
Cons: The location was not bothersome for me but since I saw many older couples, 60+ yrs, in Cinque Terre during my stay, the walk up to the location from the train station might not be as manageable as for a younger couple or family. Do keep in mind that the B&B offers taxi for arrival/departure but might be difficult for time in between that
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was fantastic and the whole process was easy start to finish. Location was great. Family oriented owner whom is very responsive and helpful. The only thing we disliked was not staying long enough!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful location, a lovely walk down to the beach very peaceful

Pros: Location and ambiance.
Cons: Steep stairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bellambra was in a terrific location, close to restaurants, shopping and trailhead in the old town- the more picturesque of the two sides of Monterosso. The rooms were clean and had daily maid service. Fresh towels were provided everyday. WiFi was good. Enoteca downstairs made perfect cappuccinos and had a wonderful selection of local wines and Italian micro brews. The host was exceptionally hospitable to our family and very informative about local attractions and getting around town.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary drinks on the first day was a nice touch.
Cons: The location is close to the main walkway of the town which made it a little noisy. I wore earplugs to drown out the noise and had no issues.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely, newly renovated apartment, right in the center of Monterosso, wonderful staff. A spacious bathroom with complementary toiletries. I loved the owners attention to detail and a sense of humor in the room decor - ours was called "Lemon" because we had a view of a lemon tree out the the window and the color theme of the room / bathroom was lemony. We were offered a nice breakfast in the cafe on the ground floor. And, the owners were extremely accommodating about check in / out times - they really saved our stay in beautiful Cinque Terre - thank you!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location!

Pros: Nice, friendly host. Fun place for breakfast and glass of wine at International Cafe downstairs.
Cons: Cinque Terre quite crowded in general, there mid June.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Only issues was the keys. The two entrance doors to the property auto locked which made it difficult to get back into the property. Other than that superb stay with a great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodations and short distance to waterfront was a dream. Lorenzo is a wonderful kind host. We stayed on the 3rd level with 4 rooms and entire floor to our party of 6 adults and 4 children. It was the perfect way to enjoy Monterosso & Cinqueterre! We'll certainly be back to stay again!
Cons: Not a thing!

Pros: This is a lovely guest house run by Sabrina and staff. Every day was a joy. Clean, romantic rooms with gorgeous sea views and 3 course breakfasts served to you on the outdoor veranda overlooking the water and near the steps to walk from Monterrosso to Vernazza. The staff couldn’t be nicer and were so helpful with tips for trekking, restaurants, etc. The place is best for couples who want to relax and stay away from the tourist traffic in town.
Cons: The free taxi ride in and out of town is on a schedule (unless you want to pay extra) so if you rise around 8:00 am you are OK, but if you want to sleep in, you will be walking into town daily.

Pros: If you are visiting Cinque Terre, this is the place to say. The view of the sea was spectacular. The staff was fabulous. Pros: The breakfast was great, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. The terrace with the sea view has an incredible view of the ocean and the Cinque Terre mountains.
Cons: The location was a little farther out of town than we expected, but the constant shuttles made up for this. It makes your day more challenging to plan due to the lack of comfortable walking to and from this picturesque b&b high in the hills above the village.

Pros: The hotel is charming, beautifully decorated, and the rooms have a terrific view of the ocean. The bathroom was modern and the bed was firm but not hard. The terrace off our room was perfect for having a glass of wine while enjoying the view. The breakfast is absolutely awesome!! A free taxi service was available to take us to town/pick us up and we never had to wait more than a few minutes. (You could also walk but it's steep.) The staff was very helpful and friendly, and spoke English. If we have the opportunity to visit Cinque Terre again we'll definitely stay at La Serra Sul Mare!
7.3 Good
Pros: La Serra Sul Mare is a great B&B just outside of Monterossa... the owner and her daughter have decorated beautifully, cook a great breakfast, and greet you in your room with coffee, tea, and small pastries. What a treat. Don't let the fact that it is just outside of town be a drawback.. the walk to town is short, and if you don't wish to walk, they provide complimentary taxi service. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were great and so was the breakfast! They were very helpful all during our stay.
7.3 Good
Pros: The hotel staff was extremely helpful and nice. The breakfast was incredible with many homemade, delicious dishes. The location was great for hiking the Cinque Terre and the free taxi service into Monterosso was a wonderful perk.

Pros: Perfect layout for our family of four (9 and 11 year olds)...with space for everyone! Awesome location. Just off the main streets and near restaurants, shopping, gelato, and the beach. Our host was SUPER helpful, communicated quickly, and left us notes for easy self check-in. The breakfast was AMAZING — out in the open air porch with fresh coffee/cappuccino, eggs to order, and anything else you can think of. Would definitely recommend to others (and especially for families)! Room was exactly as advertised.
Cons: No real downsides at all... One nice touch would be to include beach towels for use by guests.

Pros: It was a great quiet location but close to everything.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Would love to stay here again! Nothing I didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very handy location.
5.5 Okay
Pros: While the owners may be nice, the conditions at the property were inadequate for tourism. Our room was clearly a ground floor/basement unit divided into 3 narrow spaces. Our unit and the one next to us had platforms installed with queen beds on them close to the ceiling. Above us there was a third unit cut out of our ceiling. The walls and ceiling were very thin. We could tell the specific language and accents of the people behind these partitions. The platform shook when we used the staircase. The worst thing, however, was that our room had no windows. All light and air came from the entrance door, which thankfully had a vent style opening. On the basis of renting the room without adequate windows or air, we think the unit(s) should not be offered for tourism. This is not how you want to spent your nights while in Cinque Terre - even if you were only paying hosteling rates—which is not. We found another b&b a short distance away for less money. The problem is not the owners / they refunded half our money and were nice at breakfast (in a courtyard with trash barrels and a leaky awning above us); the problem was the setup of the units.
Cons: The feeling of staying in a dark basement with no windows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Adorable rooms nestled in Monterosso. Perfect for our family of 4 with room to spare. Our kids loved the lofted beds area. And the breakfast - oh my, it was over the top amazing! A wonderful start to our day of hiking and touring! Highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and service. Highly recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The service for this place was outstanding! Upon arriving, they gave our group of 4 welcome drinks (along with an extra bottle to take back to the room), and let us sample some incredible pesto. They recommended places to eat for dinner, and overall we really enjoyed their hospitality. The breakfast was great as well, included fruit and yogourt, which most places do not. Our room for 4 could have slept an additional person plus had a baby cot included.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cherry was amazing. She accommodated to all of our needs. We were 4 girls backpacking Italy on a budget, but our stay felt like a real treat! The room was amazing, and the included breakfast was probably the best we've ever had. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone who tells me they're traveling to Cinque Terre!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay here - a girls trip from London for the weekend to walk the Cinque Terre. Our hostess Cherry was brilliant - made our trip!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place and is rented by a wonderful couple that are very helpful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are wonderful, very accommodating. We had booked a four person room and showed up w/ 5 and didn't get charged any more. When I asked where to buy tea, she took me to a shop and bought it for me to place in the room. Best breakfast w/ meat, cheese, bread, jam, coffee, and pastries. Cute room, spaciously comfortable, t.v., loved the shower head, tea kettle in room and table!

Pros: Absolutely incredible breakfast on the rooftop garden, and the pesto and wine tasting each night was a highlight! Also great location in the heart of the town.
Cons: The room we had was unfortunately very noisy as we heard every step of people walking up and down the stairs or using the lift. We also struggled to open the door. It didn’t work every time so we would find ourselves standing outside our door for a good few minutes trying to get in.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, location. Breakfast in the Lemon Garden was good. Staff were very helpful for hikes, trains etc. Hotel has a restaurant down the street was also very good. Marina was a great host.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in the heart of the town and nearby restaurants and the beach Very good host and accommodating place.
Cons: The stairs are too narrow, but that is normal in Cinque Terre houses, so not a big issue Not so much as a view from the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. And great Room for families.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Service and staff were very helpful and had some small selection of food for a quick breakfast/snack throughout the day in the main reception area.
Cons: Bed was squeaky when trying to sleep.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and good location. Comfortable extra beds for the kids.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice and helpful staff. Because of a misunderstanding about the possibility of having an extra bed, mikaella was very cooperative and offered us a single room free of charge. The location is perfect. In the heart of monterosso, 2 min from the beach. The free buffet was generous. The room is very nice. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The guesthouse doesn’t have the space to provide breakfast. To make up for this they have a table in the reception with a little bit of everything, free for guests. There were water, juice, coffee, biscuits, muffins etc. Really nice touch!
Cons: Outside our window was a restaurant/cafe which could be a bit noisy in the evening. Nothing the guesthouse can do anything about, so it doesn’t affect our view of the hotel but still worth mentioning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and comfortable room.

Pros: Good value for money

Rooms come with air conditioning and free WiFi, and include a safe, a small fridge and a private bathroom. Some feature a balcony. A buffet breakfast is provided daily. From here you can reach Vernazza and the other villages of the Cinque Terre on the local train line. Parking is free at the Adriana Hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great facilities, nice breakfast
Cons: Hard mattress, no coffee from bar at breakfast - it’s from an automatic machine and not good at all
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was as expected and indicated in the pictures. The staff was great. There is nothing too "upscale" about any hotels in the area. That said, this hotel was clean, relatively modern and very accommodating as well as a beautiful, quiet setting. They also have a parking which is an unusual feature for hotels in the area.
Cons: It was a bit expensive but it was in high season, so I really can't complain too much.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Room was air conditioned and pool was wonderful. Wifi was great.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staffs were lovely and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast could be better for the price paid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and the location were great! Staff were fantastic! Highly recommend!
4.5 Okay
Pros: The pool, the view,
Cons: Staff unfriendly, many English guests but the staff doesn’t speak even a few basic words. We were told we did not have a reservation for dinner - we weren’t supposed to need one. Long wait for shuttles to town.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, 5 mins walk from a wonderful beach and 15 mins walk from the old town, less than 10 mins walk from Monterosso station. Lovely views from the restaurant terrace, and beautiful gardens. Decent breakfast selection. Helpful staff. Nice pool and fine to swim in on a hot day even though unheated
Cons: We were initially in a ground floor triple room which was spacious with a view onto the garden but quite dark, and had an obscure glazed door so if you wanted the air con on or to stop the mosquitoes coming in it felt quite claustrophobic. The room also had lots of tiny ants - even on one of the beds. We asked to move and the staff gave us a smaller room on the second floor with a sea view and balcony - so much better! The overall feel of the second room was much more “upscale” too.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast buffet with a great selection. Very friendly and helpful staff (especially the receptionists). Really clean rooms and they were cleaned everyday. Excellent location.
Cons: It was quite expensive but I think thats Monterosso in general !
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Good location in the new part of Monterosso, beach, cafe, train station - all is near and about 5-10 min walk. The room is small, but convenient, clean and cosy. I had a nice garden view. Very tasty breakfast, you could choose what you like from various dishes/cakes served. Also the staff is very helpful and there are lots of small things that will make your stay at the villa pleasant and comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great - a short walk to the beach and station (connecting you to the other Cinque Terre towns) and it was really nice that the hotel had a pool. Great breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: A bit of a walk into the old town to find more dining options for dinner - this didn't bother us, but some may find the 15/20 min walk a tad much.
Hotel Suisse Bellevue - Monterosso al Mare - Bedroom

With a stay at Hotel Suisse Bellevue in Monterosso al Mare, you'll be in a national park, within a 15-minute drive of Monterosso Beach and Fegina Beach. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: View from our balcony was great. Staff, comfort, facilities etc all good.
Cons: Distance from hotel to village; free hourly shuttle but still an inconvenience and to less attractive part of village. When booking, hotel played down inconvenience of location. Village more touristy than expected - did not feel very Italian (it was our 9th trip to the country).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: - Great location and view. - Shuttle service helped a lot as the road was very narrow. - Breakfast was well served. - Staff was friendly most of the times.
Cons: - Staff was not so friendly in a couple of situations. - Bed was not that comfortable. - Elevator was extremely slow.
7.5 Good
Pros: Absolutely loved the property. The view from the rooms were worth everything! The rooms were spacious and immaculate. The bathroom was bigger than most and the water pressure was fantastic. My favorite part of everything was the balcony and the view. I felt like I never needed to leave the property. In fact, one night we shopped at the local market and had dinner on the balcony. The property has a beautiful location up in the mountain and is perfect for a quiet retreat away from the overcrowded town and beaches. *The shuttle drops you off in a perfect location to walk to the beach or get some food. As far as the staff - The younger girl working the morning breakfast was lovely. Always smiling and happy. I am not a morning person at all - and walking into breakfast and being greeted by her was a pleasure. There was also another girl who worked the nightshift (short hair, tattoos) - she was always always friendly and helpful. Also... if you are interested in hiking... right outside of the gates of the hotel you can jump on one of the trails and take a beautiful hike over to Levanto. It is a steep climb for the first 20 minutes so prepare for that. Best to hike before the morning sun or during sunset. We hiked around 7:30pm and had plenty of light to go back and forth. Not to mention we didn't even pack water and were perfectly fine until we got back to the hotel. You can always hike to Levanto and take the train back to take the train to Levanto and hike back - right to- basically the entrance of the hotel.
Cons: I am sad to even write this because I wanted so badly to love everything about my stay - but I was rather disappointed in a few things regarding my stay at this property. My first issue was that most of the staff was not very warm and welcoming. Responses and interactions were very cold and short. But if I am a guest staying at your property - I don't want to feel as though I am inconveniencing you by asking a question. (Maybe I am just sensitive to this as I work in the hospitality industry and always appreciate a level of service that goes above and beyond for their guests) My next issue was the 'shuttle'. Upon arrival at the hotel we were given a 'shuttle schedule' (what time the shuttle will head into town and what times are available to head back up to the hotel) This shuttle service moves on the schedules and convenience of the drivers. If you plan to take the shuttle - make sure the staff is aware you are waiting and be downstairs at least 20 minutes before they are expected to arrive. As far as comfort... I wouldn't say the beds and pillows were the best I've ever slept on. If they were somehow upgraded - I would have zero complaints about the room and comfort level.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Honestly the best location to have the view of literaly whole Cinque Terre. It is beatifuly located on the hill facing the CT bays. The view covers all 5 cities and nice piece of see. The altitude offers perfect panorama - we spend 3 days there and we could not find or even imagine better location. It is on the other hand very quiet and boutique like. If you want to rest - stay there. Only sharp hill climbing is problematic, however we did it once in 25min. They provide free shuttle bus from Monterosso center every 60 min. Breakfast is very good, staff helpful. We advice to take full see view rooms - only 10eu difference.
Cons: Do NOT take the partial-see view or garden rooms if having the choice - you will be loosing magnificent panorama view and that would make you disapponted. For that kind of hotel they should provide the coffee machine in the room - we were forced to move for coffee to the breakfast room...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great up on the hill overlooking the beach and town. The hotel supplied regular shuttle buses up and down the hill to the town and back. Really enjoyed breakfast as there was always a different homemade treat on the buffet table.
Cons: The bathroom was a little small but otherwise clean and tidy.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing.
Cons: Had to take a shuttle to the town area.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view is breathtaking,- could’t get enough of it! Shuttlebus very relyable. Nice personell. I would stay here again another time if I get back. We had one of the best rooms acc to view, could see all 5 towns. Even a toilett view!
Cons: Beds were little to hard for me, but I slept well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, very clean room looking better than in the photos.
Cons: Breakfast was average but very good coffee (italian esspresso). The fact that we were remote and dependent on the shuttle bus (which was every hour).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is probably the best location in Monterosso with stunning views from the balcony especially early morning and during the night time, when you can see all the Cinque Terre villages. The hotel interior is very nice as well. Shuttle bus service to/from hotel/village was perfectly organized and free of charge.
Cons: Can not recall anything that we did not like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff super helpful. Amazing views. Shuttle service is awesome; we were running late on our train so we called the hotel to see if the driver could wait an extra 10 mins in town, and he did.

Pros: Very kind in accommodating our tough travel schedule. Clean, great location near train station in Monterosso but far enough to not hear at night!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of choices. The location was SUBERB!! The manager, Diego, was outstanding and could not have done more. He was extremely helpful, delightfully friendly, and very knowledgeable- also checking on things like were the hiking trails open (due to some inclement weather), were the boats running, providing train and boat schedules and giving excellent recommendations. I cannot say enough about how welcome he made us feel. If we are able to return at some point, we would most definitely choose Hotel Punta Mesco.
Cons: Truly nothing except the weather. NO complaints whatsoever!

Pros: We loved the hotel! It has a great location. We took advantage of the beautiful terrace for drinks in the afternoon! The breakfast was awesome! The hotel was welcoming and very helpful with all of our questions! We would definitely stay there again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was huge and beautiful - (exactly as pictured in the booking photos) well appointed with the best shower I had in Italy on the whole trip! Also a very comfortable bed considering Italian beds are very firm. The location is relatively easy to walk to with luggage (around 10-15 mins from the train) - you have to drag your bags on two short uphill occasions but this was very easy compared to everywhere else in cinque terra. You pay a premium to stay in cinque terra but it made it easier for us to enjoy Monterosso fully (we got up early and went for a swim and explore before the crowds) and we are happy we stayed there after being recommended to stay in la Spezia instead. The breakfast was truly unique - everything locally sourced and the best cappuccino I had with latte art of a koala! The staff were very helpful and leant is towels for the beach and gave us great restaurant recommendations.
Cons: I just wish we had have been able to stay for 2 nights! 1 definitely wasn’t long enough.

Pros: Great breakfast. Don’t forget to order your cappuccino from the staff if you don’t want one from the coffee machine. Loved staying here and would definitely book again. We had room 11 which has a terrace and is highly recommended for relaxing evenings- just grab some pizza bread from the shop near the hotel and a bottle of wine!
Cons: The booking process was a bit stressful since I thought I was just putting a hold on the room instead of being charged for the stay. However, I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay here and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. No regrets, I’m coming back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people working there were AMAZING. The receptionist welcomed us with a smile and gave us really good tips and recommendations that made our stay even better. We were able to use the property beach towels even after we checked out to go to the beach and we were even allowed to take a shower at the property facilities. The price was fair and the location was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very nice breakfast. Convenient location. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: I booked an economy room and therefore did not expect luxury. My husband and I are both tall and found the bathroom very small. The wall us very close to the toilet.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is great and facilities in the building are very convenient.
Cons: Small insects in the bedroom in the night. Hotel could provide electric insect repellents for guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great! It's centrally located, and the staff is great. Our train didn't leave until 5pm, and they let us keep our bags at the hotel, and even offered a shower for us to chance since we spent the day at the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff were really friendly and suggested great recommendations for places to eat and also called to place some reservations for us. We were able to use beach towels from the hotel and the wait staff at breakfast were really prompt in arranging coffees and fresh omelettes ect.
Cons: No lift to go up the stairs but the staff were lovely and assisted us with carrying one of our bags up.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location, friendly & accommodating staff, the food, beach towels & hairdryer provided.
Cons: I didn’t realize the rooms were not air conditioned. I’m sure they don’t usually need it... we just happened to visit during a heat wave. We kept our windows open at night to let the cooler air in. We loved our stay in Monterosso!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Love the staff, specially Patricia at the front desk, she helped us with directions and recommendations, thank you Patricia
Cons: No air conditioner in our room, only one tower had rooms with AC from what we heard from other guests. We had a nice ceiling fun though.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and breakfast!
Cons: Shower was tiny.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly and breakfast was nice. Room is small and I would not have booked it if I had known there was no AC. Good location and adequate but very pricey for what it was.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous and the air conditioning worked very well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We arrived late due to an accident on the autostrada but we called the hotel and staff kindly waited for us.
Cons: We weren't in the main hotel but in a mini apartment at the end of the road/back of the village, further away from the beach as excpected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the very helpful staff! Breakfast setting and variety was amazing! Very closed to the beach, train station, and to restaurants. Room was specious with a separate section, sofa bed, coffee table and dresser. Coffee and pastries were offered outside our room; balcony was a plus!
Cons: Due to our request for a partial ocean view, we had to first check it at the hotel main location but later had to walk (with luggage and very hot weather) to a different location. If we would have been told, I could have checked us in, while my husband waited for me, in the shade and our luggage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and tidy.
Cons: We were told when we arrived that our room was in another building, which was located around five minutes walk away and needed to climb up a little. We have to walk to the hotel every morning for the breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was optimal, close to the train station and just a few steps away from the beach. The hotel supplied us with beach towels, and a coupon for one of their restaurants where we thoroughly enjoyed the food . The breakfast was above our expectations filled with food for anyone's palate and the dining area so charming and elegant . Definitely recommend it if you are going to Monterosso al Mare.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location room size sea view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very Clean, and great service
Cons: I had to walk a few blocks to the breakfast area as we were in a separate location from the main Hotel
5.1 Okay
Pros: we have stayed in a different location than the main building . It was a small studio with small kitchen, small bathroom. The room had no view. the queen bed was located in the mezzanine with a 5.3 ceiling. We had an excellent breakfast was in the main building
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If breakfast buffet is out of something, e.g. the fresh fruit or juice, just ask. Gluten-free bread available for the asking. The Cinque Terre is inundated with cruise ship passengers during day. The evenings after they leave are most enjoyable. Get out early for boat tour and hikes before they destroy the ambiance.
Cons: If breakfast buffet is out of something, e.g. the fresh fruit or juice, just ask. Gluten-free bread available for the asking. The Cinque Terre is inundated with cruise ship passengers during day. The evenings after they leave are most enjoyable. Get out early for boat tour and hikes before they destroy the ambiance.
7.0 Good
Pros: We choose this hotel mainly because it has a private parking and it is located near the beach and the center of monterosso. We ordered a room with sea view. When we arrived we found out that our room is about 5 min walk from the reception and from breakfast and that parking is a few minutes walk up hill from the room. Not too bad but not very convenient. Location is indeed not far from the sea but about 15-20 min walk from the old city which is the best part of the city. We used our car only once while staying in Monterosso for 4 days and we came back tired after a long day we found our parking slot taken by a family member of the owner. we lost a lot of time until it was worked out, time that we planned to spend on the beach. Not a very nice experience. Needless to say, we booked the parking place months before and paid extra for it.
Cons: Problem with promised and extra paid parking. Overpriced. Far from the nice part of the city. Room is nice but tiny. Staff was helpful but not really nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect

Pros: Spacious and modern room! The WC is newly renovated as well. So close to the beach, the location was amazing!
7.0 Good
Pros: Overall, the location is perfect for being a little bit off the main area. Air conditioner helped a lot considering the heat wave week. Train did not hear cause windows were closed.
Cons: Staff was generally friendly but don’t really go out of there way. They leave you alone.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: The bathroom had water coming out from shower all over the place and the solution of the staff was to give me more towels. Also I ask to help me reserves at the beach club and even though they say they will they didn’t.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice villa close to the waterfront but very quiet. Nice breakfast and friendly , efficient breakfast ladie . Nice early check in
Cons: No tea & coffee making facilities and reception staff not overly friendly but efficient, requested a balcony room and having booked nearly a year in advance was hoping for a balcony.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fountain on patio in evening Good fresh fruit Big bottles of soap instead of wasted plastic
Cons: Lack of eggs for breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful view from our balcony and the extra pillows in the room.
Cons: No complaints here!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet villa close to the waterfront. Good location
7.5 Good
Pros: The property was a 3 min walk to the Main Street but in a quiet location. The staff were so lovely and very helpful
Cons: The bathroom needs attention. The breakfast was average. Needs improvement although we still had a lovely stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: There was an issue with our accommodation because of the language barrier via email but when we got there the Manager was so very helpful and gave us a different room with enough beds. We were so close to the beach I was in heaven. I loved. Ring able to just walk down two Minutes and have me and the kids junk in the sea
Cons: The driveway is hard for a wide car like ours the manager was fantastic and helped us up and into our parking spot but you should know actually the whole road into this part of Cinque Terre is very tight, narrow and hard to maneuver. We almost got stuck behind an accident on the way home. If you drive take your skinniest car. We’re taking the train next time!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. and staff were friendly.
Cons: Room was clean but it lacked amenities for the price we paid. Would have loved to see some coffee or tea machine somewhere. Our toilet would only flush every few hours.
