Family Weekend Getaway
I absolutely loved the fact that the manager on duty, at time of check in, immediately did what was necessary to allow my family and I to check in early because my Mother has breathing problems. The manager did not harass me or go out of his way to be difficult. He was very pleasant and respectful to my family and I.
The only thing I did not like is that the hotel staff did not verbally make me aware of a $50 incidental fee. Paying the fee, and eventually having it returned to me, was not the problem. Not verbally being told that I would incur this charge was the problem. Had my financial situation been different, this unknown charge may have caused me some major inconvenience. I am considering this to be an extremely minor issue, that can be easily adjusted for future purposes, because of how fantastic my overall stay was.
Front desk friendly
Shower was not clean as had hairs. I showered after a long day and it was late so I didn't want to call the front desk. I thought it's only one night and then we're out to drive to Savannah.

We were suppose to check in at 3 p.m., arrived at 2:30 p.m., they said come back at 3, no problem. Got back to the hotel at 4:30 p.m. and our room still was not ready. The housekeeper went room to room to find us a clean one. The one they ended up putting us in had a not so great smell. The housekeeper said that someone was there for over a month with a cat and they could NOT get the smell out. Next day, housekeeping never showed up with clean towels, etc. We mentioned it to the front desk and they didn't seem concerned in the least. They did however ask if we would care for clean towels. The following day there were 3 bags of what I think was trash outside the elevator door along with a dirty mop. The next morning the same bags and mop were still in the same place. I would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE. Terrible.

Everything was great- the staff was very friendly, the whole hotel was clean, and the breakfast was nice.

Bed comfort was horrible. Cleanliness was not good in general but especially in bathroom. Room smelled like cat pee. Outdated room in need of visible repairs.

The air conditioner did not work in one of the 2 rooms we booked. They couldn't move us to a different room the first night, but did the second night. We had to go out and buy fans to be able to sleep. They said they couldn't refund anything because I booked through a third party. I feel like we should get some compensation.
