I arrived with my reservation and they didn’t have any cars. They told me I’d need to go somewhere else. Other rental companies were booked up because of a big F1 races and the few available cars at other rental companies were triple the price. I ended up without a car for a weekend with my elderly grandmother who is 96. It’s irresponsible to confirm a reservation is there isn’t a car available!

Drop off was very hectic. First time to Huoston airport. Tried to return the car quickly as I had a flight to catch . Couldn't locate budget easily. It took me 40 minutes to figure out where exactly they were. I wish if there were clear instruction of their drop off location rather than the address they provided which accommodates dozen more rental brands. However , pickup in Austin was hassle free and exceptional.

Absolutely terrible experience the other day at this site. The Budget counter was unmanned. Sign stated to use the Avis desk, which only had one rep on duty. Significant line/wait. I was in line for 45 minutes waiting for a car, and after finally getting a car assignment, went upstairs to find that another patron had been given the same car, forcing the other patron to go BACK into line again. I returned the car with a full tank of gas and was still charged 31.97 for fuel service. I will never, ever, rent from Budget ever again.

They didn’t have any cars available once we arrived to pick up and claimed they had no way to contact me although they themselves emailed me earlier that morning asking if I was “ready for my pickup”…. Clearly I was and they weren’t. Absolutely abysmal nightmare situation regarding a car rental reservation made 3 months ago that fell through during holiday travel due to their fault entirely.

The Avis service agent who helped me was delightfully helpful. My car was an excellent value. The only curious aspect of my rental was the QEEQ online platform experience, as I did not understand in advance that that platform was the online platform for Avis and Budget, so better communication needed there. Otherwise, excellent experience.

I called to confirm my reservation and that the van was available 48 hours before then 24 hours later they called and said they were cancelling the reservation because they needed the 15 passenger vans for the F1 race at COTA. It was disappointing I made a reservation, confirmed it then was told they gave the van to the highest bidder, capitalism. I had reserved the van for an amusement park trip for 11 teenagers. I had to scramble 24 hours before to find an additional driver and 2 cars that could accommodate 13 people.

When I got there, they only had 18 passenger vans. They did not have the car reserved. It was 11 PM and I had my two nephews with me. They ended up giving me an electric car that was not charged. It was my first time driving an electric car, and I actually loved the way the car drove, however, we had to stop and charge it to get to my brother’s house because it only had 30% charge when we left Avis. By the time we got to my brothers it had something like 9% charge left. We charged it for 40 minutes and only gained 1%. The next day I had to park the car at the charger and leave it. I was not able to use the car at all. It only served me to get to my brothers and to get back to the airport. And I could only get back to the airport by charging it for six hours. Meanwhile, my brother had two electric chargers that we could not use because they did not have a Tesla converter plug in the car. Those plugs are free from Hyundai, but they didn’t have them so high-speed charging was out as an option. The car was dirty as well. I was told I could exchange the car, but the only Avis dealership within the range of the charge that I had had no cars. So I paid a lot of money for a car I couldn’t use.

The longest check-in line I have ever waited on in 47 years. And they did not have anything in the class of car that I had booked, and effectively downgraded me to an suv. Had I not advocated for myself for a different model at least, I would have gotten a terrible car. Generally when the class I've booked hasn't been available, I've gotten an upgrade to something better. The fact that they bumped me to something worse is a disgrace.

Sent up to garage with wrong car parked in the spot assigned to. Told to get in line all over again. Then told they didn't have the car we paid for and reserved. Billing was WRONG on Kayak part, initially with notation of 7 million on the bill that took forever to troubleshoot. Will never rent with kayak again

Was not able to pick up a rental car after getting into Austin because my flight was delayed. No arrangement was made. Had to spend money on two different Lyft rides in order to be able to pick up the car the next day. Very disappointed. Really left me in a lurch. What is the point of having a rental car if you need to use Lyft anyway? Overall, terrible experience. I will probably not use dollar again for business or personal trips

Car was fine. Getting to the off airport pick up was complicated, pick up and drop off took a long time. The check in process was a little strange, they require you to have your own car insurance to rent.

Definitely not “easy to rent”. We waited for 1.5 hours for a shuttle to pick us up from the designated area. Called the office 2 times and was told the shuttle driver should be coming by… I was then put on hold for 21 minutes before I hung up. By that time, 10 other people showed up to be picked up and they, too, called and were placed on hold or told the same thing. When the shuttle finally came and was dropped off at the office there was only one gentlemen manning the desk. The procedure was clunky and, of course, was lengthy. They didn’t have the car we rented ready so, for the sake of our time, we accepted a lesser vehicle. While the guy at the desk was friendly nought, all we kept hearing was “it’s not my fault people don’t do their jobs”… over all, it was a pretty frustrating experience. Not worth saving a few extra $ since we had to Uber from the drop off because the office was closed.

I do not recommend Easirent and will not use them again. Wait for pick up at airport was very long. Time for paperwork and processing at facility was very long and slow. It was supposed to be low cost but multiple add on costs made it not such a good deal. Car was very dirty on inside - seat was very stained to the point that I needed to get a seat cover. Checkout was fast but I got no accounting at end of rental and did not get receipt. I am waiting to see what the final cost will be. Staff people were friendly.

When I booked it, stated it was on the airport campus. It was not. We had to wait for a shuttle. One man had been waiting 45 minutes. The shuttle came and it was a 10-15 minute ride from the airport. We arrived and there were no cars. There were about 5 other parties waiting for cars. One couple had already been waiting 2.5 hours. I canceled my reservation and got an Uber. I learned my lesson and will never use a company I’m not familiar with again. It wasn’t worth saving money.
