The wait at the airport could have been better. The desk attendants were waiting for clean cars to be available to the customers, even those who had prior reservations for the time of pick up. We waited for about 45 even though we had a reservation to pick up a car at a specific time.Reviewed 16 Apr 2024

Hertz told me the day before pickup that they had no car for me, saying they had overbooked, despite me booking months in advance. They offered me nothing in return for the troubles they caused, and I had to scramble at the last minute to find a car from another company that cost me twice as much.Reviewed 10 Apr 2024

Terrible experience. They cancelled on me and several other customers (at least) despite booking months in advance. Didn't even give an email or voicemail notice! Found out at the time of the rental pick up. They didn't provide any solutions or reimbursements, only half hearted apologies. They also didn't reimburse the Uber wasted on heading over to the Hertz rental office! Such terrible customer service. We had rented an EV which was supposed to be an intermediate SUV. We have 2 kids, a stroller and several suitcases. Instead they gave us a Chevy Bolt which is a compact SUV at best, we could barely fit. When asked if there is anything they could do to help us, the answer was to pay more to switch to a non EV. They said EVs had different sizing than normal cars. I found that to be poor customer service and also lack of transparency on their end for those booking online. As a result we were uncomfortable the whole trip. I wouldn’t recommend them.Reviewed 3 Nov 2023
