They didn’t have any cars available once we arrived to pick up and claimed they had no way to contact me although they themselves emailed me earlier that morning asking if I was “ready for my pickup”…. Clearly I was and they weren’t. Absolutely abysmal nightmare situation regarding a car rental reservation made 3 months ago that fell through during holiday travel due to their fault entirely.

The Avis service agent who helped me was delightfully helpful. My car was an excellent value. The only curious aspect of my rental was the QEEQ online platform experience, as I did not understand in advance that that platform was the online platform for Avis and Budget, so better communication needed there. Otherwise, excellent experience.

You could disclose on your website that you only accept Major credit card. I have rented from other companies and have been able to use my bank supported debit card as a major credit card. I was out the cost of an uber driving to pick up the car I had confirmation for to rent. And then then cost of an Uber returning home after being denied the rental all because the website didn't disclose that bank supported card were not accepted. The counter person was super friendly and apologetic about the situation.

Sent up to garage with wrong car parked in the spot assigned to. Told to get in line all over again. Then told they didn't have the car we paid for and reserved. Billing was WRONG on Kayak part, initially with notation of 7 million on the bill that took forever to troubleshoot. Will never rent with kayak again

Was not able to pick up a rental car after getting into Austin because my flight was delayed. No arrangement was made. Had to spend money on two different Lyft rides in order to be able to pick up the car the next day. Very disappointed. Really left me in a lurch. What is the point of having a rental car if you need to use Lyft anyway? Overall, terrible experience. I will probably not use dollar again for business or personal trips

Long wait at pick up. They didn’t have the compact SUV and instead suggested I take a pickup truck. I was worried about the size and they assured me it was “small or midsize.” It was giant. I could barely get out of the airport parking lot and it was difficult to park throughout my trip. The back window wouldn’t close.
