Sixt agent was incredibly helpful and kind.
It was initially hard to find the location of the rental office however they were extremely helpful in explaining how to pick up the car and drop it off. Without their instruction, we would have been very lost!! Super easy drop off and staff was pleasant and responsive.
The car had some dings which was fine, but the lack of 3 of the 4 hubcaps (wheel covers) was odd and made it look worse than it was. But it was a good value for the long-term rental, and the car performed well and was very advantageous in both tight urban environments and on the many narrow town and rural roads I encountered. I never could figure out the radio but no mechanical problems at all.
We ended up having to switch to a larger vehicle and after all was said and done, and signed, we drove off with a BMW iX xDrive 40. Very spacious, trunk space was on the smaller average. Overall, it was a very comfrotable drive, and having carplay/android auto, it was super easy to setup and get going. The Sixt Firenze office was easy to get to from Santa Maria Novella station. The team at sixt were very nice and had us on the road in no time. I would definitely rent from Sixt Firenze again.
Very friendly service. Be prepared that your type of car will not be available. In my case, there was no luxury sedans available at all and I had to accept a luxury SUV. The good news, the car was new and in excellent shape.
