Cons: When I arrived to pick-up the rental the guy was bombarding the woman in front of me to purchase their full coverage insurance. She repeatedly said she would like to use her own insurance provider but after the 6th or 7th time the guy asked she finally felt pressured enough to spend the extra $80. They must get commission from the sale. When it was my turn I said no 3 times to the coverage before finally saying yes to atleast liability insurance because I had somewhere to be and didn't have the time the poor woman in front of me did.
When I went out to do the inspection of the car before taking the keys I noticed the plates were expired. When I asked if they could get new stickers on the car because I'd be in a hurry to get to the airport the following morning and could not risk getting pulled over the man said just don't worry about it most of our cars plates are expired, you should be fine.
Entire process took about 45 min to pick up the car when my reservation had been done 2 days in advance.

Cons: There were no cars despite having a reservation. I waited an hour and a half. Another customer offered to give me a ride to another Hertz location 40 minutes away as he was going in that direction since there was a car available there. The Hertz employee failed to inform that location closed at noon. So I left but didn't have enough time to get to Barstow and had to return to the Victorville location. It was a mess and I never got a car from them. Will never rent from Hertz again.

I guess reservations dont mean anything....
Cons: Made a reservation with my credit card. Used Uber to travel 10 miles to get tbere, only for them to tell me They had no cars available, But that I could wait for something to hopefully become available. Waited almost two hours, only to eventually Uher back home. Ruined my day. I really needed a car that day to do what I needed to do.
Pros: This office went above and beyond helping me with my rental. Jackie was very personable and went out of her way to make me feel welcome while I waited for my vehicle to be brought up front. My truck was being serviced and I didn't know if it would be ready by the next day...this was only a 1 day rental. Jackie told me to come back the next day (by the same time I rented) and she would extend my rental at same rate. Of course my truck wasn't ready but Jackie saw me walking up and pretty much updated my rental and I was out of there in about a couple of minutes! :) Well my time with the rental ran out and had to return it but my suburban still was not ready ):< So Darren was awesome coming to the rescue and got me into another vehicle (CHEAPER) than my original one(rental). Finally got my truck back the next day and returned the car. This office and staff are very personable and knowledgeable and work very hard to make sure you are happy and properly taken care of. On a side note, even the attendant outside who cleans and cares for the vehicles before you as a customer receive them was outwardly concerned that I hadn't gotten my truck back. Great people who make this kind service a wonderful experience. Will absolutely be renting from them again.
Cons: Though through no fault of their own, this location is a small one so there is no pickup/drop off service. Also no bathrooms for public customer use on site.
Cons: Got to the place only to be told the vehicle wasn't available and representative's attempt to charging us double the price originally quoted for an available upgraded vehicle. When we questioned, all the other representatives pulled an intimidation tactic, even going as far as referencing my "face". What a ghetto group of people trained to do Bait and Switch and intimidation tactics.
