Location Reception staff very friendly Room small - not even a desk in a 200+ eur room No free wifi in rooms eventhough advertised (only in lobby free) Breakfast very basic - even an omelette or orange juice has a surcharge of 8 eur. Too crowded in breakfast area due to a too small buffet All in all not worth the price - place would be good for 125 eu max.

The location of the hotel is very convenient - it is on the shore of the lake, and 20 meters from the railway station Como Nord Lago, which connects with Cadorna station in Milan. Also there are some nice places to eat nearby as well as the city center. Also the design of the dining room is nice, makes the impression of a real castle! And the breakfast was fine: all the typical buffet food + salmon (which is not common at all for many 4 star hotels) + plate of different kinds of cheese + good selection of fruits! The room was a bit small and nothing special indeed. The dinner was expensive - we were offered 35 euro per person offer (that was already discounted price) including 3 meals from the menu and a bottle of mineral water. At the same time, u can find in nearby restaurants 18 euro per person touristic menu, including also 3 meals.

Loved the position in Como, close to centre of the town,and found the staff very helpful. We were not in an expensive room but were given a corner room with views over the lake and the mountain. A little tricky connecting with internet.

Ease of registration at start and at check out, garage car parking arrangements and efficient car retrieval at end of stay, room with a view of the lake + large picture window. Self service breakfast. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room. Beds are hard. A swimming pool/outside lounger area would be good - other hotels on Lake Como have this facility and it is appealing to tourists.
