Pros (+) Location is excellent. Overall cleanliness was awful. No maid service for entire stay. Special request for downstairs not immediately taken care of, and then room had not been cleaned. I have stayed here for years and was shocked at the ignorance of those at front desk when it came to checking in and out. No explanation for add on charges. Not friendly and certainly not courteous. Pros (+) Clean room, friendly staff, easy check in and check out. The location was beautiful. The view from the room was incredible it overlooked the lake. It was quiet and peaceful. The restaurant at the resort had upscale dining and there was another restaurant on the water 5 minutes walking distance from the room that had burgers and fries pickles near the boat docks. Can't beat the location and price. ...
Cons (-) There were cigarette butts on the porch. Housekeeping doesn't arrive until after 8 am. There were only 3 towels in our room but the front desk was helpful and had towels I could walk over and get (2 minute walk). There is no room service or microwave in the room but there is a mini fridge and coffee pot. Overall these were very minor negatives and we are planning an extended family trip there soon...
